Beautifully furnished, very clean. Fantastic breakfast and helpful staff. We got a map and info where to eat. It is not close to the old town but you just take a bus no.36 and get to the centro storico.
Silvani is a great choice for Florence, despite the fact that it is not central. Using the bus or the car (a lot of parking spaces around the city centre) makes up for the distance. Domenico helped us in everything we needd and made our stay there more pleasant.
Breakfast was good!
We were late arriving but our host was very welcoming and helpful. The location gave us easy access for day trips. It is 100 metres to bus stop to old city. Our room was beautifully renovated, spotlessly clean and quiet. Breakfasts were friendly, and our delightful hosts gave us all the information we needed. We would not hesitate to recommend.
I had a wonderful 2 night stay here. Lovely family run B&B, very accommodating. Modern, very clean and peaceful. Couldn't fault it at all. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.
Staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are well equipped and decorated, very clean and cozy. Free parking and WiFi. Although the breakfast is basic we got some fresh fruits and even fresh pineapple. Location is good and quite but a bit far from center so mind it if you not coming by car. Food in pizzeria restaurant on the square nearby (800 m) is very nice.
Nespresso coffee machine gives you something you won't call coffee being in Italy.
Facilities, hospitality, breakfast Cleanliness
Frequency of Transport link to centre of Florence Other than that it was faultless
The B&B only has 3 rooms and all the guests eat together in the dining room in the morning, which made it feel very cosy. The owner is very attentive and is happy to provide you with anything you need. The room was simple, tastefully decorated, large and very clean and cosy. We couldn't have asked for better, given the price. There is nothing that we disliked, but I would say that you will need to get the bus into town (only about 15minutes to Firenze), however the bus only comes about once every half hour and only runs till about half past 11 (at night). A taxi from the centre of Florence will cost you about 15 euros. If you don't mind all that or if you have your own mode of transport, this place is absolutely fantastic! Thank you for a fab stay!
Perfect location for exploring Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, and Chianti region. Nicely furnished. Helpful staff.
Very nice home hotel. Clean, fresh, nice look and atmosphere. Wifi was very fast, breakfast was nice and parking right at front door. It is located close to Florence (we went to the Palacio Pitti in 15 mins on the bus that arrives every 30 mins)
Easy to park, clean and room is in good size.
Breakfast is ok with packed bread from supermarket but with some cheese and ham.
Very good, nice and helpful service. Nicely arranged, clean room. Quiet neighborhood. Very nice owners!
Too far away from the centre to walk. Bus every 20-30 min. But taxi to Palazzo Pizzi cost only 10€.
Sylvia and Domenico are nice people and warm hosts who speak excellent English. They help with directions for the public transportation and for planning the visit in Florence. The location is good, 15 minutes by bus to city center, while the bus stop is just at the corner of the street. Free parking in front of the B&B. Good breakfast, clean rooms and fast Wi-Fi. We will be back!
None. Everything was just fine!
English speaking with great helpful hints to see the city of Florence.
Good location for travelling by car, no need to pay for parking and fee for entrance to the city center, taxi ride takes 10 min. Very helpful and hospitality staff.
Doesn't worth the Money. The half would be fair
The Silvani BB was a really nice facility, small but very comfortable. There are just few rooms and the guests share a common kitchen. The breakfast consists of some kinds of cheese, salami, bread, pastries and fresh fruit. It is not a problem to get to the centre of Florence, the bus stop is about 80 metres from the facility, the bus goes every 30 mins and it takes about 15 minutes to Palazzo Pitti. Everything was fine.
This was once the living quarters of some of the family who now run it and have completely updated it. There is a common kitchen and large and very modern and well appointed rooms. You will need a car to stay here, but it is only a short drive to Florence and the proprietors will help you with parking or public transportation options. Although we loved all the ancient, converted B and Bs we stayed in, this was a nice change and a taste of modern Italy.
The only small complaint we had was that with all the wonderful breads and pastries available in Italy, the breakfast could be improved. I always looked forward to having these freshly baked delights in the morning, and here the pre-packaged offerings were not the freshest.
The location is not in the center of Florence, but if you arrive by car (like us), this place offers free and safe street parking in a residential area. A few restaurants and shops within walking distance. The owners very friendly and accommodating, will help you feel welcome in Tuscany. Room is no frills, but more than sufficient for a comfortable stay.
Walls are a bit thin, so those sensitive to other travelers' potential sounds, be aware.
Very helpful and friendly owners.
That's really a wonderful place!!! I can promise here is the best choice for people who want to stay in Florence. Although we have to take bus to central, it just takes about 10-15 minutes. Still convenient!!! And breakfast is so delicious...everything here is much better than 5-star hotel!!! Hope I can be here again...:)))
nice quiet location once you found it large spacious bedroom and bathroom lovely breakfast free parking and you could get a bus into central florence from only 100m away
Breakfast was very filling and provided everyday starting at 8:30am - 10am. Domenico was very available to help. Using public transportation to get to and from the B&B to Florence city center was very straightforward.
Wifi didn't work the entire time. It was out of commission for a few days. We didn't have a car so used the bus. It was fairly easy to use the bus but on the weekends it doesn't run very often and you have to walk about 15 minutes to get from the bus stop to the B&B.
The appartment is great, located in a quiet residential area with easy access by bus to the city centre. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable, perfect breakfast, parking on the street just in front of the building.
Host is very friendly; good breakfast; free parking in front of the apartment building.
