Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
Any extra bedding is upon request and needs to be confirmed by the hotel.
Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

The Hotel was beautiful and relaxing, Staff were very friendly. We were upgraded to a room with a view and terrace, which made it excellent value for money. For a 4 star hotel I would have preferred proper hand towels not thin ones offered. Also a box of tissues not a little packet in box. Offer of Sauna, Jacuzzi etc was not included in the price, we would of had to pay extra. |

Good package overall. The pool is pure class and makes all the difference. Added bonus is the fact that guests have access to facilities of 5 star sister hotels which all in all is superb. Breakfast wasn't included and would have been €20 per head. Far too dear. Bar prices were expensive. We have ants in our room. No food served on the terrace only in restaurant which was very formal. No real snack service during the day. |

It is an elegant classical style hotel tailored for a clientèle which wants to relax. If you stay in a room facing the lake you can enjoy incredible quietness. |

We enjoyed our stay at the Simplon - a refurbished hotel with all modern facilities yet retaining a lot of traditional charm. The hotel is linked with the more upmarket Grand Hotel Dino through a fantastic underground walkway/art gallery. The use of the Dino facilities is included in the price and as the location of their garden is right at the lake this really is a bonus. Baveno itself is fairly quiet but the centre is only 5min walk and there is a nearby supermarket about 2min walk the other way - useful as breakfast was not included in our booking. We went ofr a mountain view rooms as lake view rooms cost €55/night extra. The mountains are not much to look at and the main road is on that side so it may be worth paying extra or asking for an upgrade if you are staying off season. Our room was on the side of the hotel with partial views of the lake and the mountains. Road noise was limited thanks to good sound proofing yet the option was there to sit on the balcony and watch the world go by... |

La finestra della camera era a 2 metri dalla strada principale , gia di prima mattina era impossibile dormire a causa dell'intenso traffico. Nonostante la nostra segnalazione la camera non e stata cambiata. |

De algemene facilitieten zijn erg goed geregeld. Het personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk. De ligging, in Baveno vlakbij het Lago Maggiore is erg mooi. Onze kamer was erg klein en de bedden waren vreselijk zacht. |

Ontspannen sfeer, lekker eten, mooi uitzicht, mooie kamer. Gebruik van faciliteiten van hotel Dino, incl. verwarmd binnenzwembad. Losse bedden, lawaai van de weg. Hotel ligt direct aan een drukke weg, Met een kinderwagen is de smalle stoep waarover je naar het dorpje loopt niet handig en ook in het hotel zijn nog wat trappetjes waardoor het niet 100% kinderwagen/rolstoel-vriendelijk is. |

Außenanlage, insbesondere der Pool sind sehr gepflegt und sauber. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Strand ist nur über das Grandhotel Dino erreichbar und außerdem nicht besonders ansprechend. |

Il bar e l'intera area "lounge" chiude prima della mezzanotte. Impossibile concedersi alcune ore di relax in compagnia senza essere costretti a guardare l'orologio, la cui assenza è quasi essenziale per una vacanza che si rispetti! Inamissibile per un hotel di categoria ****. |

L emplacement pour visiter la région du lac Majeur le personnel à la réception trés disponible et à l'écoute le délicieux petit déjeuner du matin à 15 euros mais prix justifié par la qualité !
