Set in Borso Del Grappa overlooking the Asolane hills, the family-run Garden Relais has a garden big enough for hand gliders. Its restaurant serves homemade dishes from the Veneto region.

The villa is set in attractive grounds with good views of the alpine mountainside beyond, and at an altitude where the pure quality of the air can really be appreciated. It was ideally located for some of the attractions/towns I was interested in visiting and is quite impressive with an air of slightly faded grandeur about it. Friendly and helpful staff - the omelettes prepared on request each morning at breakfast were very good! Clean and comfortable rooms. On departure, one of the members of staff was keen to know from me in what areas I felt improvements could be made to enable a better service to be provided in the future.
When taking my first shower, I flooded the bathroom floor due to the fact that the base of the shower curtain sat within the shower tray by only approx. 70mm - a shower cubicle would be more appropriate (which I understand the superior rooms have). The facade of the building has extensive algae growth which could be economically removed by jetwashing to create an improved impression. The last 50 metres of the main approach road to the villa (Via Scalabrini) are only wide enough for one car to pass, so caution should be exercised with regard to oncoming traffic (though it is a very quiet road).

extravagant villa inside, with the understated exterior of a typical Palladian-style villa and lovely grounds. staff goes out of their way to be helpful, holds an exceptionally high standard for cleanliness. room was large by italian hotel standards, and well-appointed, apparently renovated within the last year.
not much they can do about it, but the villa is quite hard to find. From Venice, 60+ km are on secondary highways and lesser roads, usually without any street signs to tell you where you are or whether this is the street where you need to turn. I only recommend making a reservation if you know these roads (as the relevant authorities assume everyone does) or if you have an up-to-date GPS system.
Perfect for what needed whilst in Italy. Very helpful staff, probably the cleanest hot I've been to.
Very clean rooms, beautiful building and surroundings, very accommodating staff, quiet and relaxing area, very nice breakfast room with good food, secured parking, convenience to sights.
The lasting impression was the initial welcome on arriving and the excellent service and information given about the area. The hotel itself was very impressive (reminded me of the London Ritz ) very comfortable with its marble and furnishings. A must again visit !
Everything. The staff were so pleasant and willing to make our stay memorable. Antonella gave us suggestions every morning of places to go to and instructions. The young man who made breakfast every morning tried very hard to please us. The price is hard to believe. The villagers in the shops restaurants and gelateria were wondeful.
The welcome was very friendly, excellent information given regarding places of interest to visit, good recommendation for eating out. Above average breakfast. Will definitely stay there again.
