This hotel is very closed to Vatican and room is clean
The breakfast is average
Great location near a metro station, walking distance from the city centre. Staff was really nice too, they were very friendly. Room was cleaned every day, and the room itself was pretty.
Breakfast was really basic, and had mostly sweets.
Great location, close to Vatican and a subway station. Clean room. Friendly staff.
We booked this hotel because the breakfast is recommended by previous guests and also advertised as the breakfast with cheese and cold cut. However it was not the reality. The breakfast was only with packed biscuits and packed jam-like things. They were all sweets. We had to shop for the breakfast. If I knew that, I would never book this hotel for this price.
Very nice and well recommend - location and good places to eat around and - great staff
Location. Friendly staff. Clean.
Coffee maker doesn't work well.
Close to Vatican and a metro station, reasonably good selfservice breakfast
There is no permanently staffed reception so we had to wait 2 hours before being able to check inn, you rather call in advance before you arrive. The rooms facing the Main Street are bit noisy. Also avoid a pizza rustica place right next door on the left, turist scams seems to be a norm there
Cleanliness of the room Location Kitchen facilities Friendly staff Staff were very helpful in coordinating our airport transport in a timely fashion. Spoke very good English and always ready to solve the problems. Internet connections excellent. Would not hesitate to stay again when we visit Rome and also recommend to our friends
Breakfast is minimal and of limited choice and also self service. Coffee machine difficult to operate and broke down quite a number of times. This was not a serious handicap for us. Approach to the Hotel is busy with lots of roadside vendors. Approach to the Hotel is not clearly marked. Too many locks to get in and out of the hotel and no telephone Emergency situations may be difficult to handle with no service staff full time Pricing is a bit high for the hotels could be lower by 30 % of the current rate.
it was close to the downtown
The room was excellent and quiet and the bed was very comfortable Staff were friendly and helpful There was a lift to the hotel room so easy to get suitcases up and down, the breakfast on the Sunday was very good We were very close to the metro so easy to move around Rome and could walk to Vatican Could walk to excellent restaurants The safe was excellent in the room and great water pressure in the shower
The breakfast on the Mon was not as good as the Sun The A/c didn't work so room was a bit hot
Perfect location, close to Vatican. Lot of good places to eat in the neighbourhood - great ice cream store on the corner. Nice staff welcome, small kitchen accesible whole day, free internet access. Room was smaller but cute and clean with A/C and TV and the maid came to clean daily. Perfect for busy turists like us:-)
The maid forgot to provide us with a new toilet paper rolls, so in the end, we had to buy own toilet paper in a shop. We didn't report it, since it wasn't that big a deal for us, and the receptionist is not there whole time.
Near to the metro station nice area with reastaurants and shopping street. You could prepair and drink your coffee anytime in the kitchen.
Wifi unstable with many problems we did not have privacy due to the weak soundproofing. The croissants didnt look fresh the lift was too old and not feeling comfortable and safe for 5th floor route. We should pay with credit card but they accepted only cash.
Very nice location and comfortable bed. Clean bathroom
It was near to vatican museum. We liked the breakfast with the fresh croissants, toast & espresso coffee. It was next to all well known stores. We could use wi-fi. Cleanliness in general.
5 minutes walk to St Peters, metro on the doorstep, 1 metro stop away from Pizzarium. Do walk across the road and have pistachio gelato at lemongrass gelatria, it is possibly the best in Rome. All in all this B&B offers a good location at a fair price and the staff are excellent when you need them and invisible when you don't, which is perfect :)
Everything is okay, it's valuable with the money. The owner is nice but we just saw him one time during our 3 days stay.
in geneneral everithing was fine
when I arrivedt hey complain a little bit because I paid the room for three persons and just sleep 2 there, I think should not be ANY complain because Im paying the rate for this room, also in the booking it said max. 3 persons, it means that can sleep there 1,2 or 3!!!
It is so close to metro station. You can take direct bus (between Fiumicino and Vatican, just 6 euro)! The guy in reception (Antonio) was so helpful and he explained everything in city. The place is like home, you have all keys of apartment and room, anybody disturb you. There is very nice little kitchen and you can prepare your breakfast. For Rome, it is big chance to find that kinf of clean, nice and CHEAP place.
Excellent location for the Vatican area and very close to metro. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with choices beyond a sweet pastry. Very fresh rooms and clean.
Don't eat anywhere near the Vatican, ask staff for recommendations of good restaurants. We paid 22 Euros for two cups of coffee and one small pastry!
Our staying in B&B Romance was a very pleasant experience. Let's start with the location which is very close to the Vatican city, near metro Ottaviano(only 3 stops from piazza di spagna) and in a central road where you can find many shops with Italian products in good prices. The personnel was very friendly, willing to give us information about everything, the breakfast includes toast, croissantes, cappuccino, orange juice, biscuits, yogurt and jam and was served in our room. Generally there was a feeling of being home.
Bad wi-fi connection, sometimes problems with the elevator, little noisy.
Thin Walls, very clairaudient.
The staff was very friendly and helpful about the bed and breakfast and the city. The location is perfect - close to the metro for sightseeing in the inner city and close enough to the Vatican to walk. The rooms felt newly remodeled and romantic, without going overboard with decor. Even traveling with a young child, we had enough room to put up the playpen. It was also quiet enough that he fell asleep without any issues. Breakfast was self-serve with yummy croissants, meat, cheese, toast and cocoa puffs for the little one.
