get out of the house, put on your skies and start skiing delicious dining very comfortable beds large bathroom very clean excellent skiing-restaurant for lunch
it was too hot in the rooms breakfast always the same
Location and kindness of staff.
Wi-fi; rooms too hot.
The staff at Hotel Sochers are great and really care about their guests. The food is amazing and lovely clean spa facilities after a hard days skiing. The location is ideal for ski in ski out and provides a quiet and relaxing setting.
Although parking is available there is no control for hotel guests so is very difficult to park on a weekend.
Location Food Service
There was no wi-fi in the hotel. There was no night skiing but it was described in the description of hotel. There was no possibility to leave hotel after 19.00 because of elevator.
Great location for skiing, nice food, good service Ignazio is the best!
Unlike what they say the wifi is not free The water in the restaurant cost money and they dont let you know that
Wonderful location Very friendly staff
Signs everywhere telling you what not to do. Dinner was reheated and nothing special.
Very friendly staff, not a bed dinner.
Terrible breakfast, extremely poor wifi, very small rooms and it is impossible to sleep due to very high temperature in the rooms at night. And be careful with location: you can reach the hotel only by cable car, it stops operations at 7pm, so you need to stay in the hotel after 7pm with no chance to have dinner with friends from different locations.
Position for skiing, food quality, facilities, spa
Wine poor quality and very high cost, room heating (too warm and not adjustable!), shadow position of the hotel, jacuzzi temperature (too low).
The dinners were excellent, service friendly, position for skiing outstanding.
Nighttime skiing was linked to loud music which continued until 12pm.
The ski lift stopped taking you up to the hotel at 7.00 which was inconvenient. Staff wasn't very helpful. Said online there was wifi and our wifi didn't work in the room. Hotel was a little run down for being a 4star hotel. Elevator was falling apart.
The location,and the food.
The 08:00 breakfast timing,a bit late if you want to be first on the slopes.
Fantastic location and accomodations
The country music from the bar downstairs was a bit much.
Friendly staff, great food both at breakfast and dinner (way above the average "half board" level), nice new SPA, unparalleled position for ski lovers (right on the famous saslong world cup slope)
Some facilities are a bit aged (especially the elevator)
Excellent location, at the foot of two of the best ski pistes of the Dolomites. Cosy and clean spa, we enjoyed looking at the view of the mountains whilst relaxing in the whirlpool after a day on the slopes. Good food. Very friendly and welcoming staff.
The hotel is right by the slopes, wonderful when you want to start skiing early in the morning. Breakfast was pretty ordinary, dinner better. And there was no fire in the fireplace during the whole week we stayed there.
The staff wasn't speaking very good English and they were a little bit "joyless". More smile and active service would have been appreciated. There was no fire in the fireplace during the whole week we stayed there. And the biljardboard was useless because there were no sticks!
The location on a ski slope and in the mountains away from town.
Inattentive and sometimes absent service, some strange smells in the hotel and in the room, but above all blaring music to attract skiers to the bat outside, which was so loud that I had to ask, beg and eventually fight to get the music turned down in order to enjoy time at the hotel. This is made worse by night skiing lights which are kept on until midnight. The nice quiet mountain stay with some interesting skiing we were looking for did not materialise.
Everything was great, food, staff, atmosphere and location Owner of hotel was welcoming I will surely return
Other guests had a cheaper price for the same room type, we were downgraded on room type to standard room, we paid for superior room with balcony. When questioned and with strong duscussion we got a little discount, but only to the price that the std room was advertised. The other couple from GmbH still had a cheaper rate for that room type. We were told we had to pay for snowcat life to village due to middle of night departure, I felt this should be free as the hotel own the ski station. Wifi was not free
The food and the service were amazing. Barbara (the owner) and her staff did everything to make our stay pleasurable. If you are looking for ski-in/ski-out hotel this is a perfect location. Quiet in the evening (assuming that like that).
Soft lounge music in the evening did not give a feeling of apres ski atmosphere. Very limited access to internet.
The hotel is ski-in/ski-out Facilities for storing skis and boots Gourmet meals every night Excellent choices for breakfast Spa available onsite
Parking for the Hotel is confusing No parking plan was in place for customers when the FIS race was in town Transport to the hotel is not available after last gondola at 7:00 p.m.
