Lovely helpful staff, beautiful property, very luxurious
No way to make tea or coffee in the morning and room service is an expensive alternative to have every day.
Stuff are very warm and supper friendly
The location is what is best of this hotel, it's within a walking distance to city where all the famous and luxurious hotels are, also around 15-20 walk from the shopping street and center, the staff were very kind.
-I didn't like the shape of our room, not as shown on the photos, it almost look a bit old and needs renovating, -While booking, It said free internet, it was free but not enough, you could check a website or two and suddenly it gets slow coz apparently it's you have to pay for faster and more gb! So basically the Internet is not free.
Staff is very kind and helpful. We did not like our room as we expected it to be different, but staff did their best to offer alternatives so we could enjoy our stay. The roof top restaurant is fantastic with teriffic views over villa borghese and vatican. Next time we would book a room with the terrace to enjoy the views. Room price is fair enough. Been to Rome many times, staying in different more expensive hotels, first time to Sofitel which is now choice #1.
We liked almost everything. WiFi facilities a relatively pour but we did not used it a lot as it was our time to enjoy the city.
I like everything, from the location, bed and all the staff from reception until the chamber maid, they are all very friendly n helpful, especially, the front door man " Luigi" he is a very kind n helpful man. The bed is the most comfortable among all the hotel , during our stay in Italy. Definitely will come back again next time when we come to Rome. Thank you for all the staff in Sofitel Rome, God bless you all
Nothing at all
Good location, clean, friendly staff, very good "La terrasse" restaurant.
Very small (tiny) room, staff didn't have enough information about events and transportation, expensive... In short, for what we paid, we expected much better quality and service...
Beutiful hotel with good location. Like the restaurant on the 7th floor.
Stayed in room 418. Smelly bathroom..sewage smell!
location and quite hotel
Excellent location with panoramic view of the city, wonderful top-floor terrace, large superior room, friendly staff.
Good food at restaurant on 7th floor but somehow overrated, rather uncomfortable mattress overlay.
Wi-Fi is too slow and sometimes it's hard to connect to it; the breakfast is very expensive, but it's totally worth it.
Location of the hotel ,comfort of the room facilities, the staff welcome and support is excellent,
The location of the break fast is under ground
Fabulous hotel, staff were lovely wasn't feeling well when I arrived they booked me in two hours early. Room was lovely with a really comfy bed. Bathroom had a great shower. Great location.
Nothing to dislike - great hotel
Everything was perfect
Cigar smoke in terrace
Did not like two single beds pushed together versus a queen bed. The purple decorative throw pillows on bed were dirty! Did not like the crowd in restaurant , the dress code was not enforced. Did not like that we had to wait so long for a taxi to go to airport
Location Fantastic Staff Size of rooms
Unable to have a late check out ow even shower even though you advise this can be done and I requested at time of booking and continued to request. My plane did not leave until 10.00pm and I then had a 23 hr trip him. This meant for almost 3 days I went without a shower.
Staff Location Bed Amenities
Hotel is just across from fairly popular venue. We were there on the night of a very fancy 18th birthday at that venue so music was pumping all night. We companied and were moved immediately to a different room. The staff we exceptional in handling this.
Certainly a perfectly located and well-kept hotel. Reception and concierge services were indeed excellent. The room (corner one with three windows) was great and is highly recommended.
The gym and the upper-floor restaurant are a bit not up to the relevant standards though. Wi-Fi was weak.
View from upstairs restuarant. Bellmen are good.
The limited breakfast buffet is 30 euros a person in a hole below the main floor. The gym (exercise room) is 3 machines in about 100 square feet.
Close to the Villa Borghese and Piazza Di Spagna and a short walk to other major sights. Some good restaurants close by. Wonderful views from the bar. Front desk staff were very helpful.
We only had one night.
The views from the terrace restaurant were superb !! The rooms were very comfortable and the bed divine.
Location right by Villa Borghese Nice rooms Quiet Decent business centre
Very unfriendly reception staff
space of the room; location of the hotel; staff service and honest. We forgot our jewellery and passport in the open safe when checking out. The person assisting us with our bags informed before we left the hotel. The restaurant food and location was of high quality.
No coffee and tea station in the rooms. The wi- Fi speed was slow.
