Sofitel Rome Villa Borghese    

E' un bellissimo hotel con posizione centrale, praticamente sopra piazza di Spagna. Il personale è molto gentile e professionale. Le camere sono belle, confortevoli e pulite. Lo consigliamo vivamente a chi deve pernottare a Roma e cerca una atmosfera confortevole, di classe e in pieno centro.

Location is good. Rooms are big and very clean. Reception very cooperative and extremly helpful

It felt more like a boutique hotel despite their being meeting/conference rooms available. Although I was there for leisure I would also return for business. I liked that the hotel felt new and clean whilst still having character (not too fuddy duddy and traditional), quite modern classic. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful without being in our faces and over the top. Nothing was too much trouble it seemed to us.

I was a little dissapointed that knowing it was my friend's birthday and it was the reason we were in Rome ie to celebrate a rather big birthday, that there wasn't some gesture of an offer of even one drink or piece of fruit or something just as a gesture. The crew noted it was my friend's birthday, on the way home and suddenly we heard the captain announcing happy birthday to Giovanna Muratori. I suppose it's the little touches - that make customer service excellent as opposed to very good. Please don't misunderstand, it didn't spoil my friend's weekend but it would have been a really nice touch and made it even more special. I was dissapointed for her in this respect. Everyone likes to feel special and imporant - or at least I believe they do. Also, I found the standard or restaurants and bars in Central Rome VERY unimpressive. Dirty, terrible service and extremely overpriced!

Brilliant! Staff knew it was our honeymoon so left a lovely card, champagne and chocolates in our room. Upgraded to a suite too which was sensational. The bed was seemingly designed by a genius!! So big and so comfortable. Great location and was great value for money.

The breakfast was excellent, however fairly expensive at 30 Euros.

Staff are nice and very attentive to guests. Even though we cannot speak Italian, the staff try to accommodate our needs. We enjoy our honeymoon trip at this hotel and the location is excellent and easily accessible to different areas. The area is quiet and safe.

THe hotel (as with all Sofitels) was clean and luxurious. THe view from the bar / restaurant on the 7th floor is simply fantastic whether daytime or night - the high point (figuratively and literally!) of the hotel.

Slightly on the pricey side, but all in all excellent value for money

Pleasant staff. The room was very nice and the bed was large and very comfortable,. Just what you need after a day of sightseeing.

I didn't like the fact that the was no information regarding the sights and what the hotel recommended was a must to see in Rome. I stayed with my daughter and we purchased a tour book about Rome which was really helpful as it gave you all the information about the ruins, Basilicas ect and what to see. However we were very disappointed as we went to the Vatican on Sunday and the Sistine Chapel was closed as well as all the museaums. I think the hotel should have a book or notice board with information like that in it. Alternatively the reception staff should make you aware of this when you book in for the first time. There must be hundreds of tourists like us that go home a little disppointed due to lack of basic information. If we had known this we would have gone there on Saturday instead and visited the ruins on the Sunday.

Check in was dispointing had to wait more then an hour even though wepi reached in the hotel after check in time which is after two o clock.Most surprising was other people came after us they cked in before us,when I asked them they said my room is not ready yet, I requested my child is very hungry so please do it assoon as possible but they didn't listen to it.Most shocking was the room ,I bo oked superior room for 5 nights but they put me in classic room which is very small and cheaper then superior room.After several request for three days they have changed to superior room which is totally unacceptable and for that they did not apologize .As a whole I will rate this hotel as 3star boutique hotel since they don't have 5 star amenity like swimming pool,proper gym several restaurant,beauty salon ,impressife lobby.Even though they claim that this hotel is 5 star which is ripped off.Never again in this hotel.

The entire experience was excellent.

The hotel staff and facilities were amazing. We stayed on our last night before having to sly home and the made the experience relaxing and pain-free!

Loved the hotel and it's staff.breakfast on the terrace was amazing with the full view of Rome in front of us. The rooms with their high ceilings and bathrooms were top. Location was the best and all attractions within an easy walking distance. Nothing negative to say about the hotel at all.

Gentillesse et disponibilité du personnel. Merveilleuse terrasse avec vue grandiose sur Rome et la villa Medicis. Tresz belles pieces communes.

Certaines chambres sont modernes( pas les nôtres), d'autres petites et vieillottes. Rue tres passantes, donc pas possible de dormir avec la fenêtre ouverte.Le rapport qualité-prix n'est pas bon.Salle de sport médiocre et pas de piscine.

отвратительное обслуживание в отеле!!!!!! при бронировании люкса пытались поселить в какую то конуру!!!! обман в расчетах,ужасный персонал(единственный хороший человек администратор из сербии иван!!!!! если бы не он все было бы еще хуже!!!!)))) в общем никому и никогда не рекомендую этот отель!!!!!!!!!
