Hotel Capitol is centrally located in Pisa’s historic center, close to the hospital and university and only a short walk from Campo dei Miracoli and the town’s famous Leaning Tower.
Score from 684 reviews Review score
In a pedestrian area on Pisa's main promenade, Relais Centro Storico is in a historic building and has free Wi-Fi and air-conditioned rooms. You can walk to the Leaning Tower in 15 minutes.
Score from 661 reviews Good
Located next to Pisa University, Dimora Nobiliare is set on the second floor of a historic building from the 1600s. It offers elegant rooms with antique furniture, works of art and frescoed ceilings.
Score from 320 reviews Very good
The Royal Victoria is the only hotel in historic central Pisa overlooking the Arno River. Take a short walk across charming, medieval streets and you will soon reach the Leaning Tower.
Score from 411 reviews Good
The staff was extremely kind, the room was big and very clean.
The window cannot be open, but probably this is valid for all the rooms at the ground floor, for security reasons. No Wifi in room 102.
Good location near major sights; Good breakfast and coffee for low price; Very friendly and helpful personnel. Hotel interior is very oldfashioned, but clean.
modern, clean, quiet, Wifi, breakfast was basic but ok
No elevator. There was a very strong smell of room freshener in the hall upstairs. Is it to hide something? This is definetely not good for people with allergy.
The location was almost perfect. It is really close to Piazza Miracoli where the Pisa Tower lays. It is also close to a neighborhood where young people hang out till late at night. The room was too big and ceilng was too high. Even if the furnitures are old, the equipment of bathroom was quite new and nice decorated. Staff was kind. Air condition was working well and enogh to warm up that kind of big room. The neighborhood was quiet.
There is a parking space that belongs to the hotel but it is pretty small, we didn't park there but we parked front the rood, it was free between 8pm-8am. The staff didn't know English well.
Ok location, helpful staff (some with good English), nice double room for €42
Quite a lot of noise from the street. Dodgy wifi
Near to the Pisa Tower
Just a 5-minute walk from the Tower and very close to the airport / train station bus stop. The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. My flight did not arrive until almost midnight, no problems checking in at this time.
Generous size room, clean and smart. Simply furnished. Likewise shower room is a good size and everything was clean and attractive. Parking is available on site, although this was not confirmed beforehand and consequently I parked in nearby street (Via Francesco Traini) where there was plenty of space (cost 8 Euro overnight). Good buffet breakfast. Evening and morning staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Not all spoke fluent English, but we understood each other well enough. WiFi and guest computer available in reception. A gentle 10min walk from the catherdal precinct.
Personally I liked my view over the rather busy Via Bonanno Pisano and traffic noise does not bother me. The double glazing was entirely effective, but traffic noise might be an issue for light sleepers if the windows are open... I wasn't keen on my neighbours, who kept repeatedly slamming their door, instead of shutting it! WiFi does not operate in rooms on top floor.
The staff were extremely helpful. The rooms are spotless, and have everything you need and everything works -- no broken fittings or missing items. Would definitely recommend. Close to Tower, of course.
They have a fridge of drinks, which is available 24hrs, but it's expensive. That's about the only minor quibble.
The room was very spacious. It had a range; if I were to stay for a week or so, I would find that to be very advantageous. it is also in close proximity to the leaning tower. The staff were also very friendly.
No elevator and some of the furniture is dated. The breakfast could offer a bit more of a selection for the additional 5 euros you have to pay.
The hotel is located close to the tower. The small garden is a great place to unwind at the end of the day. Breakfast was good for €5 each. Drinks are available 24 hrs.
The cleaning solution has a very strong odor so if you are sensitive don't stay here. In room 102 the shower door is very tight. I almost got locked in the shower.
Location, service, staff all brilliant. Would use again and recommend.
Why have a fridge that doesn't work or have a third bed loitering not needed and taking up space?
The location of the hotel is very god, near to the dome and the historic city
The room is very small and furnished very poor, our room is very loud (due to the window directly to the street)
Really clean hotel, large rooms and bathrooms, air conditioning, good location in the city.
The walls between the bedrooms are really thin, so the noise can be annoying from time to time. There is no lift, but I knew it in advance. I did not test the breakfast.
Good location - just a few minutes walk to Campo dei Miracoli. Clean, spacious, air-conditioned room. Comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff.
Noise coming from the street was a bit disturbing in our room (especially in the morning). There was no iron avalable in the hotel.
Good location Nice atmosphere Good Cappuccino
Having to walk up to top floor with very heavy baggage Reserved parking space requested (and confirmed) was not kept.
car parking available if you book in advance, nice garden for sitting out
noisy traffic, if windows are opened breakfast was average
Location close to the main spots in Pisa the tower the cathedral, etc. Spacious room, hot water , mini fridge
The hotel is next to the street so you can hear the car and moto during the night.
The hotel is very handy for the leaning tower. It also has lovely rooms and very friendly staff and is good value for money.
Great location. Not very far from the airport and a short walk from the leaning tower of Pisa. The staff was also EXTREMELY friendly and helpful.
PISA is famous for its tower. It is about 7 minuts of slow walk. There is no more sight seeing in PISA so I recomend the hotel only for short stay because there is not so many things to do.
Theere were a lot of mosquits but they have nets but if you forget to give it so :-(. There were some children who were sitting in the balcony and they woke me up at three but it is not a mistake of the hotel.
Location was close to centre and facilities reasonable.
The bird-scarer system used by the nearby hospital (screech every 90 seconds) was too loud and went too late into the night.
5 Mins walk to leaning tower. Can bus to/from airport or train station. Staff nice.
Very basic and dark room on ground floor. Wifi very flakey. Didn't have breakfast, it looked very simple and should be included in room rate. Smallest TV I have ever seen in a hotel.
