A very beautiful, nice and modern hotel with a number of rooms in a good location very close to Siena and the villages in Chianti, exclusive feeling and very good value.

Very clean, neat and modern. Good value for money for Siena.

You have to take buses to go to historical centre of town, but that is why the rate is less at the hotel.

Although the hotel is 3km away from center, it is easy to arrive in there by bus from bus center. The room is very clean, the common toilet is convenient. The people are verrrrrrry nice.

We liked our stay there quite a lot. Our room had a large balcony, where we were glad to sit together late in the evening and have wine and snacks. The staff were very helpful and gave us a lot of useful advice.

Unfortunately, there was no hot water in the adjacent bathroom, but the other bathroom was practically always vacant.

Soggiorno Lo Stellino looks quite pretty from the outside and the view from the hotel window was nice. It was also quite spacious inside.

To begin, its location is very far from the city (at least 3-4km) and the train station and contrary to the advertisement it is not well connected unless you have a car. Secondly, the staff neglected to inform us that transport links become very limited later in the evening making the return to the hotel almost impossible (and WILL ruin your night). Although we were only staying one night she saw better fit to inform us of all the wine spots in Tuscany and gave us no information about Siena itself. The room was basic and dusty and the towels were like sandpaper. Coupled with an uncomfortable bed and no plug spots I would not call it comfortable. I am aware that this was an 'economy' room, but the next night I spent only 15 extra euros and got an amazing hostel in the centre of Siena (with breakfast inc.). I would not recommend this hotel to other young non-nationals as it does not provide the appropriate facilities or information and leaves you feeling somewhat isolated.

Nice hotel with spacious room with balcony, atractive architecture; good location

We relied on general description of the hotel which says clearly that each room is air-conditioned that is not true! And is not in line with description of the room which we've missed (not air-conditioning but just 'fan' is mentioned there); Beside this, rooms are very nice, but also quite noisy, as busy road is near.

Expensive for the location (3km to the center). Rooms renowned, but the overall quite old, carpet in our room was quite old and weared off. Tiny bathroom.
