The location of this small B&B is perfect. The staff is great-very considered, helpful and friendly. Breakfast is just amazing with lots of choices. Everything is clean, nice, comfortable and cosy. Good WiFi.
I am satisfied with people and location. People are very kind and nice. We arrived at earlier time than check-in but they received us heartfully. In particular, the location is really good in that famous places are within walking distance.
I'm amazed of the hospitality of the owners ! Very good breakfast and overall package for your money!
Wonderful B&B with lots of character. Rooms have high ceilings and, depending on which side you are on, a balcony overlooking the street or a center garden courtyard. We had a lovely fresco painted on our ceiling. The hostess, Albani, was friendly, helpful and served amazing breakfasts - eggs to order, croissants, fresh fruit, yoghurt, coffee/tea and more. Nice location within easy walking distance of all the main sites, eateries etc. Nearby, check out the small restaurant next to the OK cafe (it looks like a deli where you enter - has an excellent dinner there.)
That is was very cozy almost as if you were at home.
That we could not stay longer
Extremely friendly and helpful service Big American breakfast made to your request Great value for the price
The building was beautiful and our room was gorgeous. Breakfast was brought to our room and was not the usual Italian stale pastry and coffee! We had fresh pastries, a full jug of freshly squeezed juice, omelettes made to order and toast and coffee - fantastic. The lady of the house gave us the warmest of welcomes and went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We will definitely stay here again. It is 100m from the Duomo and 10 mins walk from the train station. Real value for money.
Absolutely nothing. Fantastic location, food and welcome.
Very close to the historical centre, spacious room, friendly staff
All the rooms have been obtained from a single large flat in a historical building. There is little privacy because all the rooms are on the same floor than the main entrance, the doors are quite thin and the "hall" is the corridor of the apartment. In the morning there is no chance to sleep since there is no breakfast room: the breakfast is served by the landlady directly in each room and the process is really noisy.
Everything! Albena is a gem, as other reviews attest. We felt like we had gained a temporary Italian mother, complete with wonderful breakfasts and thoughtful guidance. It was my wife's birthday during our stay, and she got us prosecco and chocolates, completely unbidden! We are now staying here always when we visit Florence!
Owner super nice and helpfull. We are vegan and she just asked what we would like to eat and bought us everything we asked for. The location is amazing. Great value for money. Highly recomended.
Very good location and very big rooms and beds
Albena, the proprietor, is so friendly and welcoming! She was so kind to make me feel at home. I especially appreciated her very personal concern for my comfort, switching me to a room at the back when I mentioned some street noise after the first night. She also helped with restaurant reservations and made the most delicious breakfasts; omelets cooked to order. It was a delightful stay!
Unique location - you see The Duomo from your window. The stuff is extremely helpful and nice. Guys, you have your breakfast in the bed ! Very clean and comfortable. I honestly recommend this place for your stay in Florence!
Albena, the innkeeper, was the highlight of our 5 day stay in Firenze. We came to visit our studying abroad daughter and were pampered by an extremely pleasant, always smiling Albena. She had great recommendations for dinner and made reservations for us each night. We had no need for lunch because of our wonderful breakfasts that were served in our room at the time we specified. Breakfast included omelets were cooked to order, fresh pastries, fruits and coffee to die for. My husband is gluten free. Once Albena knew this she got him gluten free bread and cookies! Albena even invited our daughter to join us each morning! The room was plenty big for two, fairly soundproof, big armoire, private bathroom with shower. The room had an old world feel, just what we wanted. We had a mini balcony overlooking the street. The temperature was moderate so we had no need for A/C, we just opened the window/door a crack. My only minor issue was the firmness of the bed, if was fine for my husband though. But after walking 6-7 miles a day, nothing would have kept me awake! Five stars.
Our hostess was so warm and welcoming and went out of her way to insure our stay was the best it could be. The location was the best ever !!
Great location Clean comfortable Very well looked after
Thanks a lot! Everything was just great!
Their warm welcome and service, the strategic location, the wonderful sleep and breakfast moment.
Friendly and helpful staff, fantastic breakfasts and best location!
Walter, Albena and Albena's daughter were really nice. Alberto even introduced me to his friend which also came from my hometown. They made our day in Florence memorable. The room is clean yet comfortable. The lady who served our breakfast was very helpful. Her omelette was delicious. Strong recommendation to stay in this b&b to those who visit Firenze. Almost all tourism spots within walking distance from this place.
Fantastic Location, everything was very clean and breakfast in bed ! The staff were wonderful and couldn't be more helpful. Great value for the centre of historic Florence.
We didn't dislike anything, this is not 5 star luxury but for £100 a night it was fantastic.
The location was incredible. We had a view of the duomo from our window, if you stuck your head out. It's immediately across the street from Robiglio, the famed Florentine pastry shop. The breakfast was brought to your room and was quite a spread. The friendly, accommodating staff made reservations for us and gave us some wonderful dining suggestions. It was an exceptional value.
We were in the large room that is in the picture. Beautiful ceiling. Unfortunately the queen bed was not very comfortable. Great breakfast, cooked to order and brought to your room.
Our room had storage closets that the staff would access while cleaning all the guest rooms. We discovered that they would leave our room door open and go back and forth while cleaning all the rooms.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and comfortable with good facilities. A very nice, cooked breakfast.
A bit tricky to find as the sign was very small and the buzzer were hard to work out.
