Dear Angela and Emilio, thank you for the beautiful 4 days in Solaria! We loved the stay in your hotel. You are the nicest host in the world. :) I feel still the taste of Angela's cake in my mouth. Mmmm...Yummi! The area is very calm and ideal to recover from the daily bustle. Thank you for everything! Best regards, Zsuzsanna and Peter

    just the view

it was not a lemon farm, just a small garden very difficult to get to amalfi, no bus nearby poor breakfast a very difficult road high price for what they offer

The hotel is really fantastic! The view was splendid, the owners (Emilio and Angela) are very friendly and treat the guests with great hospitality and make everyone feel at home. The breakfast was different everyday bcause Angela bakes homemade cakes everyday herself and they vere really delicious! We are really happy for having chosen this hotel.

The only minus is that it its almost impossible to stay in the hotel without a car because the beach is quite far and going for a dinner also requires covering wast distances And it would be better to have mosquito nets on the windows as well.

Angela and Emilio were extremely hospitable. They went out of their way to help us and made sure that we enjoyed not just our stay but our holiday.

If you do not have a car/transportation of your own make sure you prepare well for the public transport, it is doable!

13 min. from Amalfi town and beaches, 9 min. from great restaurant and shop, 11 min. from cave and "fishermen-beach" - in the hills - is this little paradise. A newly renovated farmhouse with decor and details in perfect harmony with the Italien country style - still modern. Run by the most fantastic couple, Angela and her husband, that welcomes you with a warmth that makes you never want to leave again. You wake up with the view of Amalfi coast, lemon trees and the smell of Angela's freshly baked cakes. We loved the quiet mornings on the veranda from where we planned the day with Angela and Emilio's recommendations. After a day exploring the coast you can park your car, for free, right by the farmhouse. Bring home a pizza and a bottle of wine and enjoy the views from your balcony or visit one of the great restaurants. If you want a quiet, beautiful place, in the hills, with the warmth of an "Angela"(!), free parking, great home made breakfast and amazing views - this is the place for you! We certainly felt like home, and our daughter was treated like a child of the house and came to love Angela, who spent a lot of time playing with her. Hope we will be back soon...

Nothing! But remember - a car is preferred... As in, almost, any place on the Amalfi coast...

breakfast was a treat, everything was fresh and plentiful! advice was great on where to go was helpful ie pompei, beach, capri Angela kindly did my washing as I was out of clothes! our host emilio had our transfers organised free of charge to and from the most wonderfully surprising restaurants for dinner! the view was exceptional rooms were spotless

despite free parking at hotel, we still had to pay 15-20 euro per day to park near the beach lots of dogs barking at neighbours house tv on very loud in reception made an afternoon of study difficult

The delightful owners Angela and Emilio made us so very welcome. The renovation of this old home is amazing and they take such pride in it. Angela's breakfast was the best we experienced on this trip.

It is quite a distance from a restaurant or village and you definitely need a car to get there. A restaurant is about 4 kms away, which makes a good walk for lunch, or they provide a shuttle service for dinner. Good food, well priced, and friendly staff. If necessary, Angela will make you a great sandwich.

We stayed 4 days at Solaria and it was the best choice we could make. Angela and Emilio were the perfect hosts, knew a solution to all of the questions and helped us whenever it was needed. The B&B is brand new and impeccably clean with nice, traditional colours of the Amalfi coast and furniture. The view from our balcony was unforgettable. I especially liked the home- made breakfasts. Angela freshly prepared 2 different dishes every morning, one of them was always some kind of sweet cake or pastry, local recipe with local ingredients. We loved them a lot, Angela could even write her own baking recipe book from those wonderful cakes :-) If you prefer to be in a quiet but still easily accessible place, Solaria is a very good choice. You need a car to make the trips but it is worth it. I can only recommend this gem, please take good care of it so we can return soon...

    Everything was perfect.

Looks close to Amalfi but it takes about 25 minutes driving from there. The mattress and pillow were very hard.

Solaria is an oasis of calm and relaxation that provides excellent views down of the sea, a superb breakfast, wonderfully comfortable rooms with pleasant decor, and gracious hosts who genuinely care about the guest experience. I would highly recommend it and hope to return.

Anyone who has difficulty climbing stairs would find it a little difficult to get around.

Solaria is a hidden gem up in the hills over look the amalfi coast. we were a bit nervous about whether we'll be able to find it on the car at first but are glad we did (there are also good restaurants in proximity)! the owners are amazingly friendly, who provided amazing homemade breakfast, not to mention the beautiful room and view from the balcony. We can't recommend it more.
