The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was good. The location wasn't as lake-accessible as I might have hoped. |

Lovely view of lake and mountains from our terrace. The waitress,Stefania,was very friendly and helpful.Excellent restaurant. cold shower. Basic accommodation.Limited TV channels. |

Visited multiple attractions in the Lake Como area. Everything was enjoyable. The food at the restaurant was some ot the best we had in Italy. Stayed in room in front of hotel with wonderful lake view, however many would find the noise from the traffic to be unpleasant. |

We loved the glorious views of Lake Como from our room. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony and marvelling at the beauty of our surroundings. We also enjoyed the meals in the hotel restaurant. |

rural scenic location. close to the lake must be splendid in the summer. food good quality varied menu and service on the ball. location good for Menaggio/Bellagio only 10 minutes by car ferry, Como about 60 minutes but beautiful drive. dont think there are any hotels on the lake that do not border the main road, you get used to the road, its quiet at night. if you want perfection and Como you will pay treble this price elsewhere. go back when the Euro/£ gets a better deal |

Nice clean family run hotel, Proprietor always made a point to say hello and make sure everything was alright. Staff member ( I think daughter) even came to our room to help us use a troublesome pre paid calling card. Restaurant in hotel had good food and friendly service. Front rooms have a beautiful view of Lake Como and there was easy access to a small bathing beach. Road noise could be very loud at night, As it was very warm and humid closing the window was not an option while sleeping. Would suggest adding a ceiling fan, then closing the window would be tolerable. |

Good hotel for the money. Rooms were clean and comfortable but by no way luxurious. Staff was friendly. Parking was somewhat hard to find during dinner hour. |

Friendliness of staff. Food was very good. Our room was upgraded, at no extra cost, because it was available - initially charged for upgrade but refund brought to us as we were leaving. |

The staff of this family run hotel were extremely helpful and friendly to all our family members during our two stays in July. They were always approachable to advise us even though their English is limited. Their daughter is fluent in English when she is there No except that it is situated on a noisy road but was very convenient for us because we rented a house in San Siro for a week and stayed with them for a night each end of the week |

Views of Lake Como from the room and dining room, and nearby access in Menaggio to all the Lake ferries. Mainly the beauty of the lake and villages around. Some difficulties with getting hot water sometimes. The daughter of the owners spoke very good english and was very helpful. |

It is very clean and there are lots of parking places. There is quite a bit of noise at night sometimes as the hotel is close to a busy road. I think it is a bit expensive for what it is. |

The included breakfast at Hotel Sole was delicious! The restaurant is below the rooms and it was very popular at dinner time. The hotel was quiet and the private balcony was a nice addition to the room. Free parking was a plus! Right after we checked out we found out that there is a sundeck for guests to relax on. The furnishings were outdated and the room smelled slightly, kinda musty (although the others traveling with me didn't smell anything). The area around the Hotel (or Pension as it says on the sign outside) is just homes. You need to have a car (no trains here) to get to the other areas. The tiny corner shower was difficult for the taller people in our group. |

The location is great for exploring the local villages which is really good fun, like stepping back in time, and with the backdrop of Lake Como and the Alps, this all makes for a very special and beautiful location. |

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The view from the balcony was great and it was very relaxing to sit out on the balcony enjoying the sunset and looking out over the lake and mountains. Easy and free parking is hard to find around lake Como so that's another draw card. |

The hotel staff was friendly. The parking was excellent. The dining area was nice. Free WI-Fi. Nice, pretty location. "Family Room" for four was actually a room for 2, with 2 bunk beds that pulled out of the wall. Way too small for four people - no room for baggage. Beds not very comfortable. |
