Views of Lake Como from the room and dining room, and nearby access in Menaggio to all the Lake ferries. Mainly the beauty of the lake and villages around. Some difficulties with getting hot water sometimes. The daughter of the owners spoke very good english and was very helpful. |

It is very clean and there are lots of parking places. There is quite a bit of noise at night sometimes as the hotel is close to a busy road. I think it is a bit expensive for what it is. |

The included breakfast at Hotel Sole was delicious! The restaurant is below the rooms and it was very popular at dinner time. The hotel was quiet and the private balcony was a nice addition to the room. Free parking was a plus! Right after we checked out we found out that there is a sundeck for guests to relax on. The furnishings were outdated and the room smelled slightly, kinda musty (although the others traveling with me didn't smell anything). The area around the Hotel (or Pension as it says on the sign outside) is just homes. You need to have a car (no trains here) to get to the other areas. The tiny corner shower was difficult for the taller people in our group. |

The location is great for exploring the local villages which is really good fun, like stepping back in time, and with the backdrop of Lake Como and the Alps, this all makes for a very special and beautiful location. |

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The view from the balcony was great and it was very relaxing to sit out on the balcony enjoying the sunset and looking out over the lake and mountains. Easy and free parking is hard to find around lake Como so that's another draw card. |

The hotel staff was friendly. The parking was excellent. The dining area was nice. Free WI-Fi. Nice, pretty location. "Family Room" for four was actually a room for 2, with 2 bunk beds that pulled out of the wall. Way too small for four people - no room for baggage. Beds not very comfortable. |

nothing... I will not stay there again ... too small room, the main door of the hotel and parking was closed after late hours without notifying us. We lost so much time in order to wake up the receptionist to show us the ... alternative way !!! to reach our room. |

Good location, nice view to lake and mountains, friendly staff, high level service, all is clean and new. Rich breakfast cold buffet. After staying on Hotel Sole we have only good emotions and sunny memories. |

Clean rooms which neither offer more nor less than asked for. The bunker beds in our quadruple room were squeeky and not too safe. The breakfast was good for being italian and the staff friendly. Nice with a big and free parking. The adjacent beach is terrible with glass pieces scattered both on and off shore. The hotel is close to a main road and the noise is disturbing from early hours. It is also good to have a car as the hotel is not located close to a center with shops and other restaurants. |
