Staff at the hotel were very friendly, the manager - Roberto, was the most helpful we encounetered throughout our travels in Sicily and was always on hand for any help/advice. The room was very basic and the bathroom was not exactly luxurious but the standard of cleaning was excellent. |

The really relaxed atmosphere and the friendly welcome from Roberto and his family. The hotel is well located and with the sea views, pool and balcony represents great value for money in Taormina. |

Roberto and his family were very welcoming and happy to help with any enquiries regarding Sicily and Taormina. This hotel was extremely clean and sitiuated just 5 minutes walk from the main strip in a quiet location. The room was of a good standard with a large balcony and fantastic views. Beer and drinks are cheap at the bar!! We would definately recommend this hotel and stay here again. Our only comment is that the breakfast could be more varied (if you do not like bread or croissants you would be hungry). |

Size of the room was great, the large balconies from which you can see a bit of the water, the ease of taking excursions. The room was fairly noisy in the early morning, and the location was the most distant from Corso Umberto of the accommodations in Taormina, although still close, only a 10-15 minute walk. |

Staff friendliness. Breakfast was the same for the whole week. Not enough selection for breakfast - meat, eggs etc. Room is very basic, bed is uncomfortable and the bath is clumsy. |

Very nice and clean hotel just 5 minutes away from the Corso Umberto. The hotel staff is extremely kind and always helpfull. Especially the parking (which is quite hard in Toarmina) was taken care really well by the staff. For the ones who care about a pool at their hotel: This one is small and only 1.05m deep. |

Soleado is at a walking distance from the down town and it has a small swimming pool that is refreshing in the Sicilian heat and when you don't want to make all the way to the beach. Excellent staff; especially Roberto always helpful and ready to advise on anything we needed. One has to be prepared to carry the luggage up and down the stairs as there is no lift. |

Friendly staff. Well positioned pool means it gets the sun for most of the day (with plenty of shade from trees / umbrellas if needed). Good no fuss rooms with balconies overlooking the pool. No public parking available near hotel so if driving you have to pay 8 euro a day to park in the hotels driveway. Fridges in rooms would be useful. |

The hotel is very close to Taormina city centre (about 10min on foot) and this makes it a very convenient low budget accommodation in town. No lift to the rooms downstairs (the hotel reception is on the top floor as the hotel has been built on the side of a mountain towering Taormina) but the stairs outside were just fine. The presence of a small but clean swimming pool makes it a fine family accommodation as well. |

First off all I would like to thank the owner Roberto and the staff of the hotel for thier help, and Roberto was very helpful he showed ways and directions to see interesting places not only in the city but on the whole island. And after a whole day out you need a quite place to relax like the Hotel Soleado even thought it's in the city. |

The staff were very friendly and welcoming and did everything to make us feel at home. Our room was spacious and clean. The air con was a welcome surprise in the heat of June. We picked the hotel for the location (5 - 10 minute walk to the main street), price and pool. Taormina is beautiful but expensive so we were pleased to find a beer from the bar cost only 1. |
