Hotel Soleado    

The staff were very helpful and the rooms well furnished. The buffet breakfast offered a good choice and the coffee served was good.

I would have liked to have had a full length mirror in the room (there was a wall which would have accommodated one) - also there were no hooks on the bathroom door and no allocated storage space to put toiletries.

Breakfast was a bit repedative,would have been nice to have boiled eggs some days.

the amount of steps down to our room. we could have asked for one on a higher level, but we did,nt realise it.also it would have being nice to have had a kettle etc in the room with tea, coffee, milk.

The hotel had two parking spots, which saved a trip to the public car park. It was easy to get into town and the breakfast was lovely with a great sea view.

We couldn't use the pool despite nice weather and haven't really found out why.

The hotel was really great! Roberto and his wife Rosetta are charming,friendly,and helpful.The hotel is set in a quiet area,10 minutes from main shopping and restaurant area. The bus station is 15 mins walk. While it is not near the beach, many of the hotels are not ,the Soleado has a good shuttle service at reasonable rates. The hotel is spotlessly clean with a nice pool area.All the rooms seem to have spacious balconies,and the breakfast is served in a lovely dining room with lovely view. The hotel is great value for money and we would highly recommend.

Everything! Hotel much better than the two stars it has. Clean and big room very nice and big bath, well designed and nice. Owner and staff very nice and helpful like a family type of hotel. Breakfast was very good and it had it all. I would recommend this hotel to any that wants a very nice place to stay in Taormina. Mille grazie Roberto!

Beds were little

We stayed in the lovely family run Soleado for one week in October 2012. Roberto and his wife Rosetta were just fabulous, so friendly and so so helpful. Really made a difference to the stay. The hotel is in a lovely peaceful location only 5-7 minute walk to the centre of town (Corso Umberto). The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily. The breakfast was perfect for a nice start to the day, not too much but plenty. The pool was cold this time of year but you can still take a dip if you wish. Also Robertos drinks at his little bar were much cheaper than in town. Roberto books excursions for you and trips to the beach, and again like other reviews he made up a breakfast pack for us for our early morning trips. He certainly is a good business man and is aware of how important that personal touch is. Overall a super little hotel and we will definitely go back.

The staff was very friendly and helpfull, the hotel was located three minutes walking from the town center but still in a tranquil street, and the rooms were very nice and comfortable.

An excellent friendly hotel at a good price in a resort where many hotels are very expensive. Lovely new bathroom and light and airy bedroom with balcony overlooking the most welcome pool. Pool basic but needed after a day of sightseeing, with a terrace with sunbeds and plant tubs. Good breakfast. Some distant views towards sea. Quiet location and a good nights sleep.

Furnishings are a little basic but the wardrobe, chests of drawers etc are of a good quality with plenty of hanging space etc.. This is an excellent little hotel at a good price .

I liked the fact that it was very close to the center of the city. It was a quiet location. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was ok, the food was good, although there were not many different choices.

For a two star hotel it's quite expensive, but you won't find in Taormina cheap hotels. I didn't like the fact that they gave to me probably the worst room in the hotel, but i guess that's just my luck.

Roberto and his family are so kind, sweet and very very helpful! The hotel was nice, the room also very clean. The breakfast was good too. The area was very quiet. We loved every second of our holiday.

Only a small point but it would be nice to have a cushion on the white plastic sunbeds.

Roberto and his staff are very helpful and really understand how to provide good service. The breakfast was very nice and they provided us with a "packed breakfast" for the day when we did the early start for the Mount Etna trip - this was very helpful and included a thermos flask of coffee. Good to help wake you up!

Some extra pillows were requested and provided but it would be good if these were provided as standard.

That the hotel is a family-run hotel with friendly and efficient staff who will 'go the extra mile' to help in any way. I loved having the small pool to relax in in the evening.

Very confortable room and quiet environment, walking distance to the centre....

The staff were really friendly and helpful and I felt the hotel was very well managed. The hotel is a short walk from the centre but we really appreciated this as it was quiet and out of the hub and even in the heat of August the walk was not excessive. Swimming pool and breakfast great, I would really recommend this hotel.

Excellent, family-owned hotel. Staff were really helpful and obliging with local information and tips of what to do. Breakfast was great.

Hotel staff was excellent! Hotel Soleado is a little family hotel and everyone was very kind. They even talked a little bit finnish :).
