Loved the atmosphere.. relaxed and comfortable. Yes it's a little away fro Sorrento but you will be rewarded by a number of other aspects. An opportunity to share a dinner with the people who prepared the food at the cooking school is absolutely amazing. Thank you so much to the staff and of course Biagio (Chef and personality extroidinary).
Nothing to worry about.. you are on holiday. Enjoy it and take it for what it is..... a wonderful experience. It's Italy for goodness sake.
Clean, comfortable and good price. Good breakfast and very good dinners. Good price for the service. Giulio was a great host.
This location is not in the nicest part of Sorrento where all the restaurants and stores are. Although it is not in a bad area, is not either at a walking distance from where all the action in Sorrento takes place.
Noisy Food should have been better considering it is also a cooking school Not good location Poor amenities in the room
We found an old and used band aid in our sheets.
Quiet location and helpful staff
A fair distance to the train station and other services and activites
Very friendly and clean. Near to the beach. Nice food. Good sized rooms.
The hotel is way too far from Sorrento center and also far from the train station. About 10 minutes of moderate walk. If you have luggage to carry, better not stay here, cause there is no lift and quite stiff stairs to climb to the rooms. WiFi is very poor. Noisy street side, till late.
can book tours through them, free wifi, the dinners from the cooking school was delicious, close to supermarkets, laundromats etc
quite far from sorrento
breakfast was good
I had booked 2 nights and when I arrived they said I had only one night and they were trying to get another hotel but I had to pay the extra costs. Atmosphere was not good! At the end booking.com sorted the problem but was not pleasant at all!
All is excelent here! Cleaning service was excelent, Chef Longo food was excelent (here is a tradition for cooking) and also they can prepare for you a traditional family dinner. I will recommend this hotel anytime and we'll come back for sure!
Location - near to the train station, beach and city center. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff availability. The breakfast was good and fresh The dinner at the restaurant was good also and for a good price.
The air conditioner was not working properly and we've slept with the window open but in the morning was a bit noisy. The cappuccino is better if is bought from the bar than the one offered at the breakfast.
The fact that an Italian cooking school is on site makes for lovely breakfast and a great dinner option. Nice friendly family run place. Wished we could have stayed longer.
We came back to our room late one evening and found the door wide open. We're sure we had locked it. But on the positive side none of our belongings apear to have been touched and nothing was missing. It did feel very safe there despite this unusual event.
Good value short walk to train station
Some noise from coolers at rear of building
The hotel is no frills and very clean. It was a great place to sleep at night but do not expect any luxuries. The breakfast was the way above expectations. Located on top off a cafe, the hotel provided a wonderful spread.
We were late in arriving and the hotel reception left without leaving a note. The restaurant next door had to help us locate the owner, who did send someone to let us into the hotel. But they should have left a note, at least.
Very Freindly and helpful staff. I was treated like family. The resturant serves excellent food!
Nice family business, smiling staff, between two beaches
sound of conditioner that makes a feeling that I'm sleeping on the engine of Boing 737. Satellite TV doesn't work.
Because of the cooking school the breakfast was excellent with homemade marmalade and baked items and fresh fruit.
Minor problem with shower head. Needs to be cleaned to get proper water flow for a proper shower.
The location was very handy for the train station and the breakfasts were excellent.
Room 9! Wish we'd read other reviews about this room beforehand and asked for another. We were only there 2 nights but it was very noisy, no view whatsoever, as it overlooked an inner courtyard, no minibar as advertised and worst of all it backs onto the restaurant next door and one wall was permanently hot (an oven on the other side?). This in turn provided the effect of underfloor heating - not what was needed when outdoor temperatures were into the 20's!! The bathroom was tiny and the shower tray was very slow to drain. All this said, if we could be assured of a higher standard of room for the money we paid - we would consider staying again.
The hotel and the cafebar are run by a family which makes you feel very welcome. If you have any questions they will be answered and help is given at any time. parking is possible for a small fee. Breakfast is more than enough and very tasty. We did the Capri tour which is run by the uncle and its worth it as you dont have the hassle going to Sorrento to catch the ferry etc. Also you are not with crowds on a boat while cruising around Capri. The cooking class is excellent as well and takes around 4 hours total including wine and the food. We were surprised how easy it is to make delicious tasty italian food and having fun in the kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay.
The hotel doubles as a cooking school so you can enjoy excellent dinners at very reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly.
