Hotel Solis  

Dear All, The location of this hotel is excellent, the staff was very kind, the room was clean and towels had been changed every day! Next time for sure I will stay again there!

Solis had a wonderful location within walking distance to many of Rome's classic monuments, great food, and even a little grocery store. They serve a simple, but wonderful breakfast spread (not just coffee and croissants). The staff were also willing to help with calling taxis, recommendations, and directions. We loved it.

The bathroom was a bit musty smelling, but I would expect that from these old buildings, especially in a humid climate.

The location is excellent- only 5 minutes walk to the Collesium! Also near to a few good restaurants and small shops. The room rate was also quite reasonable for comparable hotels in Rome.

The room we stayed in had a strange smell which wasn't pleasant. This did however get better after a day or so. Also a small point- would have been nice to have some fresh fruit at breakfast.

le personnel a été très sympathique , on a réussi à se comprendre avec quelques mots d' anglais ! Notre chambre était calme bien que située du côté de la rue Cavour !

on aurait aimé une bouilloire dans la chambre pour pouvoir boire une boisson chaude le soir ! un peu plus de lumière !

A localizacao e otima. Muito perto de todas as atracoes. Se tiver disposicao dar para ir a pe ate o vaticano.

Ao chegar no hotel, expliquei que tinha duas reservas, uma para dois dias e uma para um dia (eram dias seguidos), porque tinha decidido ficar mais um dia em Roma depois de ter feito a primeira reserva. No entanto, ao final do segundo dia de estadia, quando chegamos no hotel nossas coisas estavam no lobby do hotel, malas, sapatos e inclusive roupas intimas para todo mundo ver. Eles nao viram que nos tinhamos reserva para mais uma noite e tiraram as coisas do quarto em que estavamos hospedados. Foi extremamente constrangedor. A sorte foi que a recepcionista resolveu prontamente o problema nos colocando em outro quarto. Outro problema fol que dois dias pela manha ficamos sem agua quente,o que dificultou o banho.

Matkustamme paljon, joten meillä on vertailukohteita sekä osaamme ottaa huomioon myös eri maiden erilaisuuden hotellien tasossa. Hotelli Solis täytti odotuksemme. Olimme häämatkalla ja saimme hotellin suurimman huoneen. Huoneet ovat yksilöllisiä, henkilökunta ystävällistä ja aamiainenkin oli tosi hyvä ja monipuolinen. Ja hotellin sijainti, vau! Colosseumit ym lähes vieressä.

Petit déjeuner simple mais surtout salle trop petite, obligés d'attendre son tour! Quelques détails à revoir :lumière trop faible, douche petite et faible puissance de débit d'eau.

Friendly, informal staff. A good room and a tasteful breakfast, in one of the most attractive parts of Rome. Other places easy to reach by foot, bus or underground. Relation quality-price very good.

The juice at the breakfast wasn't real fruitjuice, but some kind of nectar. We didn't like that. The rooms in the front of the building get a lot of noise from the street. But we had a room on the other side of the building, quiet.

2x von 5 Tagen "schaffte" das Zimmermädchen das Aufräumen des Zimmers nicht (Müll, Nasszelle). Kein Problem, wenn vorher verabredet!- Das Frühstück gestaltete sich in den letzten Jahren immer minimalistischer, 1 Ei oder etwas Käse wären wünschenswert.

L'hôtel est très bien situé, à côté du colisée. La directrice de l'hôtel est sympathique mais elle n'est pas souvent là, hélàs.

Les employés d'accueil de l'hôtel ne sont pas aimables, peu serviables. J'ai eu un problème lors du règlement de ma chambre. La veille de mon départ, l'employé travaillant le jour m'a dit que tout était ok et que le montant de la chambre était déjà prélevé sur mon compte et le lendemain matin (6h), alors que j'étais pressée car je devais me rendre à l'aéroport, le veilleur de nuit ne voulait pas me laisser partir car il disait que je n'avais pas payé l'hôtel. Il m'a retenue un bon moment avant de me laisser partir! Le personnel est peu compétent, peu accueillant et peu patient!
