Very friendly hotel staff (1 Person appears to run reception and breakfast). limited availability out of hours. We choose a different room and paid a supplement. It appeared pricey for what it is but it was the beginning of the high season. |

a quiet location, convenient to the town center, with on-site parking. (We parked our car on arrival, and didn't use it for the rest of our stay.) Rooms and room decor were a bit spartan |

quiet spot. my room did not hav any hairdryer and there was no body to ask for one.The gas heater keep coming on in the night waking me up every time until I switched it off. |

Asked for second pot of coffee - was told abrubtly "No". Hotel was miles up a hill that was ok-ish to walk during day, but impossible in the dark, especially after some vino. distance from village - I love walking, but wasn't safe to walk, and price of room - I expected more. |

Friendly staff Bed, advertised as lake view but only if you stood on chair on balcony - I would not have paid for a lake view if I had known it was barely a view at all, distance from town - too far away and with no real view |

The breakfast and breakfast room were nice. The pool area was very beautiful but it was too cold to use it. The room was large and comfortable. The room was cold when we checked in and the heater did not work. The hotel staff was not particularly friendly or helpful. |

Fitness center, pool, breakfast, car service. The receptionist was exceptional, she made are stay excellent from picking us up on ferry, calling us extended cab late at night, and printing off bus schedule. Beds were not softest. |

The beautiful rooms and large balconies overlooking the lake were superb as was the pool/breakfast area. We were told that we could have some laundry done at no cost, but when we received our bills, were we charged for laundry. As the person who had told us it would be free was not there and no-one else spoke English we were unable to negotiate this point. One laundry load cost 15 Euros which was unacceptable. |

The rooms and the swimming pool were very good. The owner was helpful. It did not have a restaurant - despite saying this in the details! The hotel is 500 m from the town up a very steep hill. Because you couldn't get a meal or even a snack this was very tiresome. There were only a small number of places to eat in Menaggio which were all full. Breakfast was quite basic and when the hotel was busy with lots of families, food ran out! It appeared to be understaffed. |

Modern bright Hotel in a beautiful location. Room cleaned daily. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate in recommending this Hotel to friends and family. fantastic base to explore the Lake. We had a fantastic holiday. Nothing. |

Beautiful balcony view; quiet area A 25-30 minute hike up a steep hill from Menaggio - definitely need a car. We needed to pay a fee for parking. A 5 euro charge for sauna use. |
