Been there before. Missed my stay recently Sgot bumped. Looking forward to staying again, in couple weeks, and this summer.
The rooms are situated in a good location especially for travellers wishing to stay in the trastevere area of rome
Firstly I do not like to give negative reviews but on this occasion I feel I need to. I travel a lot to rome and have stayed in many different places to which all have been good. I chose these rooms because of the great reviews I had read but was so disappointed. Checked in and straight into our room I needed the Internet which was not working after speaking with the lady on the desk aventually got connected after about four attempts. Room was very small compared to the rooms I had seen when booking also saw several of the other rooms whilst they were being cleaned much bigger and nicer decor. The room did not look very clean had a fridge in it which was very dirty inside then into the bathroom which our toilet did not flush properly very hit and miss. But what ruined our stay was there was no heating in the room and at night had to wear some day clothes in bed as it was so cold. Did not even want to have a shower in the morning because it was so cold in the room. Then the day before we checked out I asked the man on reception if he could book a taxi for me for 7.30 in the morning to take us to the airport which he said he would. Went outside at 7.15 to wait for the taxi which at 7.45 had no turned up. Luckily ten minutes down the road there was a taxi rank if there had not been could of possibly missed our flights! There are much nicer and cleaner places to stay in the trastevere area on the same budget.
AS before a most enjoyable stay. Hopefully we'll stay again in 2 years time (Italy v Ireland rugby), if not, before.
Well situated in a nice neighbourhood of Trastevere with cosy bars and restaurants. Beautiful scene from the window.
Too early check-out time at 10am. Control of the warm water in the shower was challenging. The fridge did not work and in an other room the small safe wasn't attached to anything.
Location was great, close to everywhere. Easy access to public transport. Good sized room for a very affordable price.
Poor wifi in the room. A little bit noise at night. Not everything was well polished.
The girl on the front desk was helpful.
The internet didn't work. The shower was cold. I was locked both in and out. The locks didn't work.
Great location, walking distance from most popular spots in Rome and in the heart of Trastevere with a lot of fantastic little restaurants.
Great location, friendly helpful staff and very clean.
Good location Friendly and helpful staff Clean and spacious room Valu for money
Weak Wi-fi at certain parts of the room
The hotel is by the side of River Tevere and very close to historic areas. The room is clean and comfortable, and the staffs are very nice.
quality of the room (awesome) relatively to the price (laughable)
No drinking glass and cutlery
The location was great for transport as well as food and wine, literally across the street.
As with all the small old buildings the lift is small. Our safe wouldn't open twice but both times staff were available to open it.
The location is excellent, you can walk to all the major tourist attractions and Trastevere is filled with lovely restaurants and cafees. Our room was quiet and clean.
The staff wasn't very helpful with, for example, finding a place for breakfast. When you stay here, you really only pay for the room, nothing extra. The air conditioner is a bit weak and the air can get quite stale in the room.
Facilities, staff and location all very good. Trastevere is great in Rome.
Room on busy street window had to be closed at night got a bit stuffy. Double glazing worked very well. Large room with plenty of space. Lift quite small meant several trips with luggage.
Perfect location, close to everywhere.
Rooms were dirty and full with old&dirty furniture. Especially bathrooms should be cleaned better I guess.
To me stuff that works at the hotel i am staying is very important. Giuilo was very friendly and helpfull about where to go, eat, transportation etc. My room was at the back, the opposite side of the street, in the corner. it was a big room with high ceilings, nice bathroom, very comfortable, had a view of Trastevere neighbourhood. Breakfast was not included but there were many very nice cafes around. The location is very convinient. I would stay here again.
Only wifi connection was not working properly in my room, sometimes it went off.
The staff attention to guest. They care and ensure guest comfort..
The price per night is quit high considering facilities in place.
The receiptionist was fantastic, great location and price. Nice size rooms and very clean. Decorated very cute.
Well Worth it!!! Room is clean, quiet, nice ac, enough power ports to charge the phones and laptop at night. Secure (3 keys between you and town). Elevator too, when you've done a long day. You are in Trestavere, the cheaper rougher part of town. So if your Posh Spice, go elsewhere. If your here to see Rome- this is in the center of it. Stay here. Loved it. Thanks to Cyrus for an help finding the Good Trattorias and Osterias. Bottomline: not the Ritz- but Well Worth it- and clean clean clean.
Location and big room !
Wifi didn't worked. Not everything was well polished.
Good hotel perfect location and staff are very nice and friendly and helpful everything was great.sound proof no noise
Wifi is poor and room are excellent for 2 people not more
Room was very nice and clean.
Room cost more than was quoted. Elevator did not always work.
Located in an old building, the Sonnino Suite was relatively easy find and the front desk reception was friendly and helpful. Our room was small but comfortable.
Toilet was hard to use, the bidet was in the way. The very tiny and old elevator was not working when we left and so we had to carry our luggage down 6+flight of stairs.
