Nice Interior (I got the room in front of the street, so the view was so excellent! Interior of the room, bathroom were all beatiful) Excellent clearness Kind, friendly Owner
Nothing. Perfect. But the guesthouse not including Breakfast, you have to be aware of that.
A quiet place in a beautifull small street full of life in the hart of Sorrento. Close to everything. The staff was making you feel at home, very nice people, always with a smile and ready to help in any way. The room was very nice and they gave us the option to choose from 2 different rooms, we took the room overlooking the small street. I will definitely go there again.
The bed was a bit stiff.
Everything, Maria the host along with her husband Luigi and her sister Mariaella were the best. They helped us in getting the most of our trip to Sorrento and Capri. the BB is ideally located in OLD Sorrento on via Fuoro. The BB has good Wi-Fi and it is free. The kitchen is cute and sufficient. Furniture is unique and interesting and yes, old. We absolutely loved this place. It is on the 3d floor but there is an elevator!!!! The room is clean and neat the bathroom is very nice. We had wonderful weather and open windows to breathe in the ocean air, which is only a short walk away. Sorrento is so cool..... we will be back, I highly recommend this BB to world travelers. There is a great restaurant right out the door to the 6 foot wide street of lava stone and a delicious gelateria two steps to the left.
Nice stay in Sorrento. Great room, lightful and good located. The host was more than helpful.
Streetnoise during night
The location of the property is ideal for exploring the town. It is right in the middle of the old part of Sorrento. Maria, the owner, is very helpful and accommodating!
It could be a bit noisy in the early hours of the morning when the rubbish is being collected, especially if your room is facing the front of the building.
everything is good
Owner was friendly. The location is great.
Located at the center with great facilities and the fabulous Maria who did everything to make us feel homely, even taking us to find a parking spot.
Excellent location, very friendly and helpful host, clean, has minifridge, 10% discount for the restaurant downstairs with excellent typical pasta dishes of the region.
There was early morning construction that disrupted our sleep, but that wasn't the fault of the guesthouse.
location, service, value - all were excellent.
bed was pretty hard, but after a long day of exploring it was ok.
Great location in the middle of the historic center. Maria was a very friendly and helpful host.
It locates in the walking street near the city center and not far from the train station and the port. The room s nice and there re amentities in the bathroom more then an expectation from guesthouse. Worth the money..
Sometimes smoking smell from air-conditioner
Large room. Very friendly and informative owner / manager. Great location for the old town and restaurants etc. Only stayed one night as we were catching an early morning ferry. In this case it was ideal.
Difficult to find at first but ask around as family members own/operate nearby restaurant and gelateria and are very friendly. No breakfast offered.
Perfect located in centre of Sorrento. Helpful and friendly hostess. Quiet and in a pedestrian only street.
Our mattress needed renewal. Outdated air-conditioning.
Excellent location. Right in the middle of it all in Sorrento. Restaurants, bars, and gelato right outside the doorstep. Beautiful, romantic rooms and nice facilities. One of the nicest looking placed we stayed. Gracious and friendly host.
Can be a bit noisy at night. Our room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke from the guests in the next room all throughout the night until early morning. Wish they wouldn't have allowed them to smoke inside. Felt sick from smoke by morning.
The guesthouse was charming, clean, had a great location and the staff was friendly. The balcony was fantastic as well!
Short check in times.
Location was right in the middle of the busiest part of sorrento market place - it was wonderful. Maria was very friendly and helpful, we didn't want to leave ..
Nice and friendly. Maria is helpful. Room is clean, bed is good.
We stayed at the Sorrento Guesthouse (GH) for 3 days in July on the 3rd floor with a long narrow balcony overlooking a narrow pedestrian street. There is a very reliable lift. Maria who runs the GH is the perfect hostess. She familiarised us with the room and its features and what was available nearby. There is a coffee shop and restaurant directly below the GH both very good and a supermarket and laundry just round the corner. The restaurant provided takeaway so we could enjoy our dinner in our balcony. The coffee shop serves just about everything and is family run so you will bump into Maria's delightful mother and brother. This GH is in a great location near to the ferry port and train station although when you first arrive with luggage it seems a long way. We arrived by train and left by ferry. The room is very clean and felt like home with its wall features, wardrobe, comfortable bed, safe, couch and little dining table. The aircon works perfectly and so does the wifi. The bathroom is very practical and whilst compact it is not small - toiletries and hair dryer provided. Double doors open to the balcony which serves as an interesting people watching pastime, and we were able to dry our washing in 1 hour! In the early hours of the evening you can hear lovely italian music but generally by about 10pm it is very quiet. Maria is very helpful and we relied on her advice. She even printed our ferry tickets which we forgot in Naples. She also provided a kettle so we could enjoy a cup of tea in the room. I would definitely recommend this GH for a enjoyable stress free holiday. Saying goodbye to Maria was like saying goodbye to family.
Very charming place to stay! We loved everything about it!
The owner, Maria, was so kind and helpful. She made us feel very welcome at her cosy place. Located right in the heart of the historical center. Not fancy but comfortable and clean.
Maria was amazing, the elevator was a blessing, the room had a mini fridge and A/C and the balcony was icing on the cake! Everything was very clean and it was a great price - thanks to other reviews I knew to bring cash for payment immediately upon arrival (although she gave us the option to pay later).
It was difficult to find. Front door is very tiny and doesn't say Sorrento inn guesthouse - says B & B Sorrento (or something similar). I also didn't like leaving at the end of our stay :)
Loved the location on a side street packed.with shops, restaurants, bars and gellato shops. Everyone was friendly, many knew.at.least.some English, and everything we wanted.to.see.and.do.was within a 15 min walk.
The street sign to the Guesrhouse was covered with a vine making.it very difficult to find the first time.
Maria very helpful and friendly, this guesthouse was a great location for us as we were in town for a wedding and everything was only a 5 or 10 minute walk away..
going home !
