We arrived, hungry and tired after a long drive from Stuttgart, at about 7pm, mid-August, to find the restaurant was closed. Don't chefs work in Italy, during tourist season? (okay, it was Ferragosto, but, if your hotel is open and it features a restaurant, you ought to have the restaurant open as well) The photos on Booking.com and the description of the hotel led us to believe we'd be able to eat there. But, sadly, that was not the case. The owners kindly led us into Persiceto, where we had a nice meal in a restaurant, but we had hoped to simply eat at the hotel and go to bed.
Clean and modern, this hotel's a bit of an eccentricity, in the middle of fields. We had a hilarious time trying to find it, as the satnav was completely confused. Owners very friendly and helpful.
