The welcome from Antonella and Salvatore is excellent, breakfast fabulous and really helpful with our trip to the top of Etna. Thin walls between the rooms but didn't really cause a problem. You can hear people talking, bathroom noises, kids crying etc but it really depends on who is in the room... |

Wir sind vom Sotto il Vulcano begeistert. Die vier Tage dort waren ein Genusss. Besonders zu erwähnen ist die Hilfsbereitsschaft der Vermieter und das ausgezeichnete Frühstück. Die Lage ist ideal, um einen Ausflug auf den Etna, nach Catania oder Taormina zu machen. |

Ik weet niet waar ik moet beginnen met de lof uitingen !! Je word hier echt als gast behandeld en de eigenaren doen echt bijna alles om het naar de zin te maken.Dit hotel ligt perfect om te Etna te beklimmen. Eigenaren bellen ook naar de gidsen of tocht doorgaat ivm weer of andere oorzaken. Als je Etna wil beklimmen logeer hier zeker een paar dagen want sommige dagen kan je niet naar de top. Het is ook zeker geen straf om hier een paar dagen te blijven want is echt een verademing tot zulke adressen nog bestaan. Ook maar 4 kamers en lekker knus. Dit is echt een topper. Alle eer gaat naar de gastvrouw en gastheer. |

Salvatore et Antonella sont extrêmement accueillants. Ils réussissent à créer une ambiance vraiment familiale et fournissent toutes les informations souhaitées sur la région, les possibilités d'excursions, les restaurants sympas dans le coin... Il y a aussi pas mal d'équipements à disposition. C'est une très bonne adresse ! L'isolation phonique entre les chambres n'est pas excellente. Toutefois, l'hôtel est situé dans une banlieue très calme. Les seuls bruits viennent donc d'au-dedans. |

Dieses Hotel (Bed & Breakfast) ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Touren zum Etna und in das Umland von Catania. Das Paar, das das Hotel leitet ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit und immer zur Stelle, wenn man sie braucht. Das Ganze in einem (für Italien) sehr gutem Englisch! Frühstück ist auch sehr gut (v.a. die Pistaziencroissants und die frischen Kaktusfeigen aus dem eigenen Garten). Die Zimmer sind von der Größe her i.O. und blitzsauber! Parkplätze sin auf dem verschlossenen Grundstück ausreichend vorhanden. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit im Sotto Il Vulcano, wenn wir wieder mal nach Sizilien kommen werden wir hier auf jeden Fall wieder einchecken! |
