The hotel owners are lovely people, friendly and kind. They are also a great source of tourist information. The hotel is comfortable and clean and the owners encourage you to treat it like your own home. |

i liked very much the kindness of Antonella and Salvo who are really nice and good people. They explained to the kids everuthing about vulcano and etna before our trip on the Vulcano which was very nice. If you need something they will do their best to help you or provide it to you. Such kind of people are very rare. I was travelling alone with my 2 kids and they were very helpful to me. |

Antonella and Salvo are charming hosts who really went out of their way to make us feel welcome saying "you should treat it as your home" and were so helpful in finding out info on walking excursions up and around Etna. Breakfast was the best we had in Sicily - highlights: selection of fresh croissants & freshly squeezed orange juice. Short walk to central Nicolosi. Highly recommended! |

In Sotto Il Vulcano doen de eigenaars er alles aan om je thuis te laten voelen en ze slagen daar goed in! Hun begaanheid met de reizigers hebben we zelden elders zo meegemaakt! Naast een eenvoudige maar extra nette kamer ( elke dag verschoond ) , een heerlijk en uitgebreid ontbijt ( heel uitzonderlijk in deze regio ) konden we vooral ook appreciëren dat er een aparte ruimte was ( in een gezellige soort berghut) waar we 24u op 24 terecht konden voor frisdrank ( vrij te consumeren uit frigo ) , koffie , informatie over de regio , ....De ligging van Sotto Il Vulcano is ideaal voor bezoek aan de Etna en tevens voor heel wat andere highlights van Sicilië als Taormina , Syracuse , Piazza Armerina , Noto , .... |

Nagyon udvarias vendéglátók, és sokkal többet tettek még az elvárhatónál is; késő este maximálisan kedvesen fogadtak, a reggeli 4*-os szálloda szintű, képeslapokat és dvd-t is kaptunk az Etnáról. Ha Nicolosiban járunk újra, biztos, hogy ide térünk vissza! Padroni gentilissimi, hanno fatto molto di piú che si aspetta; cortilissimi al nostro arrivo della sera tardí, la colazione come in un albergo da 4 stelle,ed anche abbiamo ricevuto cartoline e dvd della Etna. Siamo contentissimi e se ritorniamo a Nicolosi, andremó di nuovo al Sotto Il Vulcano! |

Tolle Atmosphäre, sehr familiär, nette und freundliche "Herbergseltern", die uns auch viele Tipss bezüglich Sehenswürdigkeiten gegeben haben. Das B&B an sich ist sehr schön gelegen, Ortschaft ist sehr nett, viele gute Restaurants, sehr nah am Etna, sehr zu empfehlen, gute Preis-Leistungsverhältnis das Zimmer ist recht klein, aber ok |

Es waren die nettesten Gastgeber, die wir bei unserem 3wöchigen Szilienurlaub hatten. Die Betreuung war perfekt. Das Früstück war das mit Abstand beste auf Sizilien. Die Lage ist für die Erkundung des Ätna-Gebietes optimal. Bereits vom Bett konnte ich (durch die Bäume) den Gipfel des Ätna sehen. Die Seilbahnstation (im Winter damit auch die Skilifte) sind in 20-30 Minuten erreichbar (ca. 20km). |

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben von Anfang an eine familiäre Athmosphäre entstehen lassen. Das Haus ist klein und mit 4 Zimmern überschaubar. Dank der unkomplizierten Art von Antonella und Salvatore entstand auch unter den Gästen im gemeinsamen Eßzimmer schnell Kontakt. Salvatores Frühstück war absolut perfekt, seine Tourentipps eine gute Empfehlung. |
