Excellent hotel, great location and very friendly staff .... Will for sure visit again
configuration of the room with bath sinks been in the bedroom, shower had a glass wall, no Wi-Fi in the room, no English channels on TV very noisy, can hear all noise from outside even with closed windows, , no keys, restricted privacy
Helpful frontdesk; good breakfast and very friendly and helpful waiter.
Facilities should be better maintained.
We had the 'Red Shoe' room, which was fantastic. The bed is the best I've ever slept in (for any hotel). The staff couldn't do enough for us - really friendly, arranging good restaurants and tips on places to go. Good breakfast, we were late on one occasion, but they kept it open for us. Genuinely a fantastic place and I'm definitely going back there, next time I'm in Rome. The location is fantastic, just near the Spanish Steps and few really good bars close by. Do not be put off by entrance... I actually liked the security and exclusiveness feel of the place.
My only slight criticism is the lack of a Hotel Bar area - would have been nice to finish the night with a nightcap in the hotel bar!
Location and the decor.
Loved the location, staff were helpful! Would have liked a bar and somewhere to chill besides the room as we had check out at 11am and flight was not until 9pm bed was terrible was round my fiance is 6ft odd and didnt fit and then my feet were hanging over the sides as i was on the edge ask for a normal bed! Bath made up for it huge!
excellent service very friendly tasteful rooms to stay next to Via de condotti is the best that can happen! Restaurant Ginger nearby is excellent!
Breakfast was very basic No eggs, no fresch squeezed orange juice I think in this level of accomodation there should be the possibility to order some omelett extra.....
Round bed for two persons - not very comfortable. Limited breakfast. No boiled eggs. Orange juice - no it was not. Impossible elevator that is so small that you can not roll an ordinary big bag into it. No signs outside - hard to find the hotel. No not again - I am afraid.
the smell of the bathroom/toilet
Staff were great and super friendly! Location is great! Very original rooms! Beautiful!
After a rough apartment situation and we had to find a place asap, within 10 minutes of our booking of the hotel we received the warmest welcome and best service that we could ever ask for. Our view of Rome was great b/c of this hotel! Would not want to stay anywhere else when we return! From the staff to the room, 100% satisfaction!
WiFi in Italy stunk. Wifi went in and out a few times, but the staff always fixed it or had a solution!
all high quality with fine italian taste. it was a great stay . for sure we go back.!!!
It is not a hotel, it is a private floor of a building. Entrance of the building is very bad. You can not feel secure yourself while you enter the apartment and also while your stay! The desaign of the hotel is extremely avangarde.
Room so nice designed, staff speak good English and walk the extra mile to assist you....
Lift way too old, but so s d building
The staff were excellent & extremely helpful & charming, saved us hours of queuing by helping pre-book entry tickets, plus recommended excellent restaurants. Absolutely no sounds from other bedrooms, but as with any city centre hotel, you sacrifice a peaceful nights sleep by choosing to stay in the heart of Rome! Quite a lot of noise from revellers on the streets outside, but then we did pick a holiday weekend! Very smart neighbourhood, fab shops on doorstep & all sights only a short walk away. Fabulous, unusual decor, but a few important omissions in my view ...
Fabulous suite, but a few important items missing! Mirrors, could have done with a mirror in the bedroom & a magnifying mirror to put makeup on (lots of mirrors in bathroom). Bedside lights (overall lighting in room beautiful, but no bedside lighting). Really poor internet connection. Mega-huge TV's but no English channels to watch.
Central location for shopping and Spanish Steps; other attractions within walking distance or short taxi ride (about Euro 10). Reception staff very helpful. Fun decor. Wonderful Renaissance ceiling in the superior bedroom. Airport transfer for 2 people was great value & simplified the journey as the hotel would be difficult to find. No vehicular noise.
Lack of storage space in the superior room (one small double wardrobe without shelves; no drawers anywhere. Bedside tables were mirrored cubes, looked great but no internal storage.) Sauna too small to lie down in. Shabby minibar exterior. Street noise from Saturday night revellers in the early hours (blocked out with ear plugs).
great location quiet streets in te evening
small rooms for breakfast
Excellent location for shops Staff Quiet room for such a central location
Very poor wifi No english / international channels on TV
I asked staff how i can go to the port with train, they promised me to explain once i want, but when i check out she said sorry i didnt know that much you can go out and ask or take an expensive taxi that we offer !
Location, location, location. Staff was beyond excellent. Cheerful, helpful, accomodating. Room layout was great. Great value. Highly recommend
Facility showed moderate wear; not a big deal.
The location was perfect for walking all of Rome (max 30 mins from any major tourist attraction) and just minutes from the Spanish steps and trevi fountain. Staff were so helpful and knowledgable, and the room we had was very luxurious.
Breakfast was quite cramped, but good. Some of the fixtures and fittings are tired, but it seemed like they were going some refurbishments while we were there.
- I stayed in the "jungle room" and this room is extremely special and impressive, actually this boutique hotel is specially designed by the owner - Reception and other staffs are very helpful and passionate - Very well located - near the Spanish Piazza - Everything is perfect; very happy with my choice
It wasn't the cheapest hotel, but it was worth every penny. The location was excellent, just minutes away from the famous Spanish Steps. We stayed in a room with a terrace and we absolutely loved it. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was average but the coffee was great! We will definitely stay there again.
