In a 19th-century building, the Quirinale is a 10-minute walk from the Colosseum. This historic hotel is connected to Rome Opera House through a passageway in its leafy courtyard.

The historic Grand Hotel Plaza has been featured in many movies. Set on Rome’s popular shopping street, Via del Corso, it offers large elegant rooms with high ceilings and marble bathrooms.

the A/C was not working, the hot tub was also not working, the lift is a bit scary where the room was in 4th floor, the breakfast was a shock! just bread and some cheese...
The staff were always friendly and helpfull the room was top quality
Breakfast Beauty of the different floor Staff
Location was excellent for all the main sites of the city. A short walk along bustling streets.
Breakfasts were a little basic, but sufficient to start the day until lunchtime.
The ambiance is very luxurious, the staff extremely helpful. My room looked wonderful with a round bed. My Sister's room was conventional with lots of space.
In my room the lack of anywhere to put anything. There were no drawers and only open hanging space. My room looked like a travellers' encampment. In the bathroom there was nowhere to put the soap. I don't think the designer ever stayed there.
First time in Rome. Could not have chosen a more central location. Super facility. Small and intimate. Friendly and helpful staff. Not a traditional hotel very small and boutique. Definitely recommended for couples and small families. Was not aware that they also have apartments for short let.
Breakfast very basic and wifi intermittent in our room.
Location, design, friendly staff
Parking is an issue, noise of water in the floor with the aquariums in the walls
friendly and helpful staff clean great location good breakfast had lots of character
very small lift, make sure someone from reception helps with the bags.
Everything except breakfast
Breakfast is realy poor
The staff were excellent and the location is very good. Very close to many attractions
There was almost no English speaking stations on the TV in the room. It's a good hotel and they need to put some English TV channels in their offer. Considering the weather in Rome at the time, the rooms were to hot during the day. The airconditioners were not working probably .
I stayed here with my best friend and we were both instantly impressed. Beautifully decorated, spacious room, excellent staff. Definitely would recommend and go back.
Best location in Rome, easy access, cab, walk, underground, to the best in Rome. Excellent restaurants nearby; recommend Life, round the corner and Gusto on Frezza off via del Corso.
Not enough room for suitcases
The person who served the breakfast was nice. The other person were hypocrit.
The position of the room ( next to the reception) even though i have asked another room in my reservation. But the reception of the hotel never said to me they have prepared another room than the one i have asked for.
We loved how all the rooms were unique. It was a great place to stay that was clean, quite and in a good location
Pictures on website made it look much more glamorous than what it really is.
Beautifully appointed rooms and each floor in the hotel had a unique theme.
The staff, although welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay was quick to check our group of 10 guests and had us wait for our bus outside in the street. A bit of kindness was lacking.
Excellent location and incredibly friendly staff.
We were in room 305. The room itself has no place to put anything. There are some hangers for clothes, but no where to put your luggage. A couple of luggage racks would go a long way to making this room 100% better. Although the room is fairly large because of furniture placement and decoration it feels small. The TV juts out from the wall pushing into the narrow gap between the bed and the wall which you have to walk through to get to the bathroom. TV should have been inset into wall. Room is dark because of the wall of slate. Bathroom is definitely a case of form over function. The rain shower only provided a trickle of water from the ceiling, so ended up using the hand shower every day. Had to shower quickly because hot water ran out quickly. Only got mildly hot water once in the bathroom sink. There is no place to put your toiletries because of the poorly designed (but pretty) sink. Bathroom is very dark as the lighting is very low. Toilet is square, very uncomfortable to use the toilet, ended up raising the seat and sitting directly on the toilet. For 200 euro a night, I'd try a different hotel next time.
Saff very good Location
Location, staff, special room
One of the best hotels that we stayed in during our Ireland/UK/European trip The staff were very friendly and helpful and from the time we entered reception the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
Location was difficult to find as there were no external signs
A stylish boutique hotel in an excellent location, definitely more suited to couples than families. The staff was friendly although gave incorrect information or were just simply inhelpful at times - yet other times went out of their way to help with proper concierge services.
The front desk service was inconsistent - see above. Breakfast was ok. Rooms are seriously tiny so can't fit a larger suitcase or bigger person!
The location of the property is excellent, right off Spanish Steps, yet on a relatively quiet street with access to almost everything. The staff is very polite and accommodating, and always available to help. Very pleased to meet all of them.
The rooms are on the very small side. Cable TV was not working. Checkout time is 11am instead of the worldwide standard of 12 noon, which may be quite inconvenient.
AC not so effective
Let them book places for dinner, they know some good ones. Nice and close to get around
