Hotel Spagna  

Het personeel is heel vriendelijk. De ligging, vlak bij het station, is uitstekend.

Er is geen lift.

Ligging is top: in enkele minuten van het bus- en treinstation.Dit is dus héél handig wanneer je laat aankomt in Venetie, hoef je niet met je koffers de hele stad door. Héél dicht bij de waterbus-haltes, waar bijna álle lijnen vertrekken, temeer omdat de hotel-locatie zo dicht bij de stations ligt. Je kunt dus in een mum van tijd zó in een waterbus stappen die de gehele stad én omgeving (Murano, Burano, Lido E.D.) bereiken. Hotel is prima: bedden zijn goed, douche/toilet op de kamer, ontbijt inbegrepen, dagelijks schone handdoeken: zie dit maar eens voor deze prijs op zo'n locatie in Venetie te krijgen!!! Alleen een opmerking over het ontbijt: het is géén ontbijtbuffet.Maar voor ons was dit geen probleem. In de kleine ontbijtruimte waar 7 tafeltjes staan, staat alles in mandjes op elk tafeltje. Alles is voorverpakt: muesli, toast, jam, honing, nutella, bisquits en boter. Warme croissants zijn dagelijks vers, geserveerd in een mandje met enkele mini-mini broodjes. Bijvragen is geen probleem. Jus d'orange is perfect, niet aangelengd met water, gewoon hoe het eigenlijk zou moeten zijn. Koffie en cappucino zijn prima van kwaliteit, we zijn het wel eens anders tegengekomen..... Ik zou dit hotel echt van harte aanbevelen, en wanneer we weer teruggaan, zal ik dit zeker wéér boeken. Negatieve reacties in andere reviews: ik kan ze niet begrijpen!!!

The hotel location was good and very near the train station. The location was good for looking around and an easy walk to the main atractions. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. Room was comfortable and large enough for a family of three including a 14 year old. The beds were fairly conformtable and the third bed was not squeeky or noisy as they can sometimes be.

The shower was quite small and not easy to turn around in for an average size person. The breakfast was limited but was included.

Location is close to train station, within walking distance, making my trip easier to go everywhere. Price is affordable.

There's no lift to go up :) but 1 floor only to go to reception.

The hotel is conveniently located about 5 minutes walk from the Santa Lucia rail terminal and a little more from the bus terminal. Only a few steps to negotiate to the train but one bridge with many steps to the bus. Not a problem pulling your own luggage to the bus unless you are frail. It is an easy 15-20 min walk to San Marco. The Water bus station is a couple of minutes away. There is an internet "cafe" down the lane opposite the hotel. The hotel staff were very pleasent and helpful with good English. Our room was spacious (we were given a triple) and well prepared, with LCD TV. Beds were comfortable. The bathroom had a small shower with no bath, but was larger than many we have had in Europe. We stayed in early September when it was hot and humid and the air conditioning worked well. Our room overlooked the main street but we heard little noise. Breakfast was simple Continental (juice, rolls, croisents, coffee/tea plus muesli) and served to us at the table.

The hotel has no lift so be ready to lug your cases up the stairs. The hotel's wifi internet is something like 4 euros for 1 hour and 9 euros for 4 hours (provided by some external company) so we did not use it. This sort of charge seems common in Venice, but it is strange that almost everywhere else in our 8-week tour around europe, even cheap hotels manage to provide free internet for customers.

The hotel is clean and location on the main street of Venice.

The breakfast was too simple and limited to coffee, juce and croasans. The hotel should offer a greater variaty of fruits and sausages.

Great location, right outside Venice's train station which means you won't have to cross the entire city carrying your luggage. Although it isn't close to the historical center of Venice, the entire city is a living monument so everyday you'll walk a different path and see different things. Also, good price for Venice standards.

Only downside was the lack of variety for breakfast. No buffet and apart from bread and toasts there really isn't a lot else to eat.

staff was very kind and helpful. the hotel is in Venice so it is a great location. room was a bit dingy. but we had an amazing time.

everything was more than fine

Las instalaciones muy limpias. Cama cómoda y un trato excelente tanto en recepción como la atención prestada en el salón para desayunar. En resumen, satisfecho. De volver a Venecia repetiría sin duda.

No tiene ascensor. En cualquier otra ciudad el precio sería exageradamente caro, pero comparando otras opciones de Venecia es de los más baratos.

Su ubicación. Precio proporcionado.

El hotel sería óptimo si brindaran desayuno americano. El que dan es suficiente pero no el más adecuado para zona turística como Venecia.
