Friendly welcome, convenient and central location. Varied choice at breakfast. Comfortable rooms, tastefully decorated with thoughtful touches, even a tv in bathroom!

-Staff were friendly and helpful. -Airconditioning was a plus in summer

-Breakfast was average -Location is difficult to find at first -Nearest water bus station is Rialto not San Marco as described in the hotel page

Location is ideal for seeing Venice hot spots. Restaurant in Hotel is excellent. Rooms small but very nice.

Love the suite with canal view, we called it our palazzo di Venezia, the extraordinary location very close to piazza San Marco and also the staff very special. Súper clean

One of the better hotels in Venice, well located between Plaza di San Marco and Rialto on a small canal. Staff is really helpful and speak multiple languages.

The location is excellent. 5 minutes from the Rialto, if you walk slow and 2 minutes from St. Marks Square. The staff was very accommodating and the service was excellent. ILADYA was very helpful. Would stay here again

Very well located, a stone's throw from St Mark's Square. The rooms are very clean, though a bit small. It has its own taxi pier, which makes it easy to reach from the airport with all the bags.. The staff is very friendly, we were especially very grateful for all the suggestions and help provided by Danilo, one of the doormen.

The room and bathroom doors are, for some reason, ridiculously heavy! Given how much they charge as room tariff, it seems childish to charge additionally for internet access. Even the so-called free internet access in the lobby is only for 30 minutes. The breakfast could do with a little more variety, perhaps a warm course or two.

For the price paid, would have expected a better breakfast and free wireless in the rooms.

The hotel is at central location. The room was nice and comfortable. The breakfast was good, though other Starhotels (e.g. Echo in Milano) offer a much better selection.

Great location - 10 min walk from Rialto stop. Spacious, clean room. Breakfast had many options. They left us chocolates and a congratulatory message for our honeymoon - very thoughtful. Offered a tour over to Murano.

No free wifi. Highly trafficked area with tourists. A bit pricey but that's Venice.

1) They freeze additional 200 euro each room - I don't no why, and it took 15 minutes to check in although we were the only ones (in Florence check in took 1 minute). 2) They have internet for free only in lobby and you need to enter long strange name and password each 30 minutes. Good location to Rialto Bridge and St Mark Square, good breakfast, very helpful staff, we needed an extension cord which they provided.

We did have wifi in a lobby library but they charged 6 euro for 24 hours in our room. All the hotels we have stayed at had free Internet in the rooms. For a four star hotel this seemed pretty petty.

Very modern, very upmarket decorations. Our room was very big and extremely comfortable. The lounges and restaurant are quite welcoming and comfortable.

Very good location in the center of the city, walk-distance both to San Marco square and Rialto bridge. Not bad breakfast. Pretty design. Comfortable bed. Smooth wifi connection. Nice reception staff, upgraded our room with free of charge.

The room was too hot and humid. We cannot turn on the cool AC instead we open the window. The view outside is a small cannel, it looks peace and nice but it smells! Overall, it is expensive. But it is in Venice...

The wifi only free 1/2 hour in lobby. Not in hotel room.
