Close to the action at Rialto Bridge and San Marcos Square.Good food and helpful staff at the hotel. Didn't receive the wheelchair accessable room with 2 double beds on the water side as promissed, but I did receive a top floor location that was comfortable for our stay, so didn't complain. |

Perfect location in Venice - 5 minutes to San Marco Square or Rialto Bridge area. Our suite was very spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was very good and included in the room rate. We would definately return again and recommend this hotel. Our room (room 280) was above a service entry so it was noisy in the early morning when laundry and deliveries were made to the hotel. We are early risers so that didn't bother us but may bother some who like to sleep later. |

The hotel is really beautiful. Excelent location. Graet breakfast. The first night they gave us the worst room in the hotel. It faced the back street and it was on the first floor above a deposit of the hotel. So the first night we could not sleep at all, because they were carring stuff from the street to the hotel and shouting!!!!. After that we had to argue a lot to get a better room. |

Friendly service with good humour. Lovely position in centre near San Marco and Rialto on the canal side. Ideal position for sight-seeing. Expensive bar. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The standard of the breakfast was poor. In particular, the coffee was very bad. |

Location was very good and staff was outstanding, specially for Italian standards. Breakfast was very good too. Rooms were tiny. Shower doors were too small. |

Very central location, very close to St Marks Square and Rialto Bridge. Hotel room was very clean and comfortable, very nicely furnished and decorated - the staff were all very professional, efficient and helpful. The restaurant was very nice (great lasagne and lobster) and the breakfast was also good. I had booked a deluxe room with canal view - when we arrived, we were told we had been upgraded to a suite, which was great - but unfortunately the suite was in a corner of the hotel, nowhere near a canal, surrounded by buildings just a a few feet away from the windows, so it was dark and slightly claustrophobic - however, the interior of the suite itself was so nice we decided not to make a fuss ..... the semi-modern piped music in the lift, restaurant and lobby was a bit annoying at times... having to have my passport copied to simply use the internet for 15 minutes seemed excessive. The breakfast coffee was not very good (tasted like instant!), but you could order espresso and cappucino drinks if you wanted. |

The hotel was very clean, beautifully designed and comfortably sized for the two twin beds we requested. We liked the light-colored hard wood floor instead of carpeting as it made the room feel clean and airy. We stayed only one evening but we had a wonderful dinner at the downstairs restaurant. It was very romantic-- in a glass rooftop enclosed courtyard with a fireplace and a live pianist on a Friday. The buffet breakfast for two included in the price was a feast and made the entire booking price a true bargain. The restaurant and guest relations staff all spoke English and were very courteous and helpful. Lastly, the hotel is in a great location, halfway between the Rialto Bridge and San Marco just steps away from great shopping. This hotel exceeded our expectations. We are from New York and often book luxury boutique hotels for our visiting friends. This hotel was comparable for the best of NYC's offerings. |

The room was prefect for three people , the food was good, and the girl who assited us in finding everything was excellent!! The host of the dinning room at BF seem to be way to selective about who sat in the room with the glass ceiling to eat. |

Great location in Venice. Hard to find as street addresses not well marked or names on front of building. We had a sewer smell in our room the first night. Had a staff member check it out in the middle of the night and was disappointed that nothing was mentioned to anyone when we talked to the staff in the am. The front counter staff immediately changed us to another room which was great but I felt that there should have been some communication to the day staff that someone needed to check up on our room by asking us if all was o,k, instead of us commenting on it again. It would have been great if someway we were compensated for our troubles of a smelly room in some way (decreased room rate for night of troubles or free internet) |

The hotel was in an excellent location. It was easy to get to via water taxi. Upon checking in, we were informed that we had been upgraded to a junior suite. The room was spacious by European standards, but had no view except the walls of other buildings. This might be advantageous, since we did not get any noise from the adjacent canals and streets. The furnishings were attractive and the bed was comfortable. The floor in our room was not clean. We mentioned this to the management when we checked out. The hotel seems to be still undergoing renovation and the hall we walked through to get to our room was not clean or appealing at all...Perhaps when they complete the renovations, these issues will be addressed. Our breakfast was quite ordinary, as well. I think the price was a bit high for the quality and service we received. I might still recommend this hotel to others, since it is in such a good location. |

Great central location within easy walking distance of all the main attractions and a good breakfast buffet. Smokers on the dock - it is also the only area where non-smokers can wait for transport. |

We liked the modern design of the room, large marble bathroom, comfortable bed, breakfast buffet. Location is excellent, close to Rialto Bridge and San Marco square. Water taxi from airport could not get us to hotel entrance because of high water and we had to walk to hotel with suitcases from Rialto bridge. It would have been cheaper just to take the vaparetto which stops there too. |

The location of this hotel is perfect. It is between the Rialto bridge and St Mark's Plaza so no need for any vaporetto rides. There is also a gondola station right outside and the hotel has its own dock for water taxis. There are lots of restaurants and stores right outside the hotel. The room is a good size, very clean and has coffee making facilities (with free hot chocolate, coffee, ice tea, etc). Buffet breakfast is also very good (lots of fruits). Also, the receptionist (Andressa) is very nice and friendly. |
