Free tea and cakes and nibbles with our drinks. Very central for Rho Fiero and Duomo
Temperature of room and hard beds!!
We use to stay at St George before it was best western chain. Think the friendliness of staff have been decreased but breakfast and bar service have gotten better. Location is brilliant! Walking distance from central station, only €15-20 for taxi from Linate, 3tube stops from Duomo, 30mins from new Fiera Rho on M1 tube.
We booked a triple room and third bed wasn't ready so we had to wait for someone to prepare the soft bed at night after a long flight. Also room wasn't vacuum cleaned every day. Not that it's important mini bar wasn't as good as before.
* Breakfast * The room was very hot. After we called the reception, immediately there came a man who made the airco. Unfortunately, the airco immediately gave an error. We called another time with the reception and got a new room. * Location * Friendly staff
bad smell due to new materials of rennovation
1.wi-fe is very bad (disconnected) 2.there is no lobby 3.breakfast so poor 4. elevator is very bad 5.sound of air condition if load 6.light on room very bad 7.furniture is very old
The staff was incredibly helpful.
Easily accessed by number 5 tram from front of railway station but easy to miss. Easy to walk to tourist areas and good for metro. Can have breakfast bag if leaving before breakfast served. All reception staff spoke good english. My wife asked for a kettle and this was delivered very quickly. Had a room at the back which was very quiet. The lift is small and a bit slow but as floor 1 has 3 levels below it better than using stairs.
Reception is up a flight of stairs which could be a problem for someone who has mobility problems.
nice receptionist. very helpful and thoughtful! very spacious rooms. great value for money.
no lobby area.
It's just so-so. I think the value is only 3 star level. A younger man worked in reception is very nice.
The location is difficult to find. Because the emploee took a vaction ,couldn't take care of our luggage. That's very inconvenient.
Excellent breakfast...room..staff (yes Anna!!!)
Minor complaint..you need to warn us that balconies are shared
We stayed at this hotel for one night and it was quite comfortable stay. The room was small but clean. The girl at the reception was extremely helpful. She guided us to everywhere. She was the best thing at the hotel.
No toiletries, the small boxes were empty. Just a handwash was provided and that's all.
cheap location is ok near metro 20 min walk to duomo
room was dusty. breakfast was terrible. shower leaked. comunal balcony put side of the window. bed was hard. room is very small
This is the best hotel we stay in this trip.
The City Tax in Milano is a little higher than other cities in Italia.
I liked all actually
Helpful staff, afternoon tea, fruits, breakfast
The stairs, safe not working, no tissue
The room layout was superb. Other facilities & location as well as cleanliness were good.
The shower cubicle was way too small, even for us Asian. Couldn't even turn to soap ourselves without elbowing the glass walls!
Staff was friendly and helpful.
Shower too small, had some trouble with room card-key (most rooms have traditional keys, mine didn't).
A short (~ 15 minute walk to Centrale station) which was the main reason I chose this location for my last 2 nights in Italy before catching a train to the Milan airport and then a flight back to the US. My room was quite spacious and clean. Excellent breakfast! They also offer tea time in the afternoon.
Neighborhood was rather noisy and urban and I would not have felt safe walking around by myself at night (i.e. after 9:00.).
Staff... Brilliant, helpful, smiling everyday, full of energy even after night shift. Waitress at the restaurant - more than professional. Thanks to her I felt like at home. On the second day of my stay I did not even have to tell her what kind of coffee I wished to drink - she would read in my mind. All guest treated with care. Staff reacted very quickly on any incidents, like louder music after 10pm, smoking in the room, etc. I felt really comfortable. Rooms were cleaned everyday, fresh towels delivered each morning.
Well, this is really individual thing but at the very first glance I did not like the design of the room. It seemed a bit "old school" for me but I got used to this. Anyway that was the only thing I "did not" like.
great place to stay :)
The room was nice; good bed and shower. The breakfast buffet was great! The metro is close by.
Hotel is a nice hotel in Milano at great location. The staff is really professional, very helpfull and friendly. It is very clean, decent hotel. We liked it very much. I can stay there again when I go to Milano.
The staff were very helpful especially Alice at the reception desk.
The room on second floor, facing to the back side of the hotel was very quiet and large. The breakfast and the staff were excellent .The walking distance to the Duomo or to the underground is short .Very close to a big garden. a lot of good restaurants and in weekends is a very busy area plenty of people.
The parking is expensive, but is possible to find free of charge parking the evening on blue places after 19:00. In thr neighborhood there are too many foreign refugees from Africa which are sleeping in the night and it looks not be so safe.
Location and staff is excellent
