Rooms a little dark, wi-fi spotty

The facilities were excellent and the staff was very friendly, accomadating and trained in elegant service. The hotel's food was superb and we loved the garden for tea ,wine and light fare. The breakfast buffet served many gluten-free items and our diet was considered at dinner. Also, we were provided helpful concierge sevices. The evening restaurant manager was very hospitable and shared travel tips for this great city.

The location of the hotel is excellent, with short walks to the main attractions of the city and shopping. Wifi was included in the price which I believe it should be in hotels of this standard, or for that matter all hotels.

We had a drink at the bar one of the nights and the Hotel had neither of the two red wines we ordered (from the wine list).

Bar service very poor. Had to go and find somebody for almost every drink. Staff found hiding in cigar room either smoking or using a mobile phone

Love our stay at the hotel. Beautiful, modern design. Excellent location within walking distance to everything. Wonderful rooftop bar!

Rooms very clean. Hotel and Restaurant settings well laid out. Friendly staff all speaking English. Excellent breakfast and excellent Restaurant on the roof top. Easy to find on the gps. Good Car Valet Parking Service. Excellent for information for tours around Rome and the hotel staff helped to book these. Excellent Porter Service. Good room service.

Room given next to hotel in a building with Nuns, partner was afraid to enter on her own, very poor lighting in the hallway. The room had insufficient lights. No iron and ironboard. The Sauna room not working. The Steam room floor flooded with water and smelt of urine. The kitchen very heavy in Salt in the food. The bar not fully operated and bar man did not come across friendly.

I like the general design of St Gerorge Roma however it depends on when you are staying there, some areas that you can't access for different resons, you better check before you check in this hotel, like the roof restaurant, spa and patio restaurant, it may be closed because of rains for the roof restaurant, because of wedding banquet and can't access to patio; because of regular cleaning of the spa....

It lost the fragrance of the room now as when I first visited this hotel in 2008, it was so charming and welcoming, the double standard room is bit small as the closet is tightly.The twin room that I stayed last time was much bigger with big walkin closet .

The rooms were stylish and modern. The Hotel had a wonderful feel to it. The best thing about it was the roof top terrace.

The gym was fairly limited and needs some exercise equipment.

Internet too expensive, I am still amazed that in 2012 mot of the hotels (and expect ally a 5 star) still charge you for the Internet, unbelievable. Spa was really good, but the beds should be renewed.

Experienced travelers always expect hotels to have certain amenities; comfort, quiet or convenient location, clean and well attended, dining area and easily excessible transportation. What sets them apart is staff and service. I travel more than 60,000 U.S. air miles every year + international. This Hotel has perhaps the best staff I have ever encountered. From the reception, to dining, maid, doorman...all were without exception the best. For that reason alone, I would certainly return to the St George.

Great Location, small and boutique which made it unique, great restaurant and bar, the staff were very helpful and gave great tips on local restaurant, brilliant room...especially as we were upgraded to a junior suite, loved the spa, loved the terrace

Shame that the steam room wasn't working...also a shame that the roof top terrace and bar was not yet open (shown on the website but not open until next week)

Design .very stylish boutique hotel.Excellent location.Very good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

Bathroom was very small.Not enough wardrobe space. Very noisy room.There was lots of traffic noise aswell as a construction sight next door!! Also disappointed that the rooftop terrace bar was closed in early June although the drinks in the hotel were very expensive and the cocktails lousy.

Well situated in Roma, comfortable and staff very pleasant and helpful. Food for dinner in restaurant very good and service excellent.

Bathroom de sign not good , shower awkward to manage with fixed shower head and difficult hand he'd shower. Plugs in basins impossible to handle. Cooked breakfast always Luke warm as containers inefficient, food should be cooked in smaller quantities and replaced more often.

Elegant marble and dark woods around. Smiling and helpful staff with relaxing attitude. I was assigned a nice room on 4th floor. The bed was really confortable. Wheater was gentle, so we had our breakfast in the garden.Good. Spa is not so large, but it works.The position is perfect for people who really like Rome : quiet and close to nicest places in town. Next time we will stay longer.....

Air Con non-existent and when I mentioned this to the concierge he was incredibly patronising. Mr Falchi, the General Manager, did come to speak to me about the problem and left me a complimentary bottle of wine - thank you for that - but the air con still didn't work. !!
