Good location, free internet on the hall Room too small, thermic pool was cold the day we tried to use. Breakfast sometimes with lack of bread, juice, eggs, so you have to wait several minutes. Air conditioning of the hotel turned off, so the room was too hot at afternoon and evening.

Location of the hotel was good. Close to the Vatican and most of the other key sites are within 20-30 min walk. Breakfast was good, as was the quality of the food in the restaurant. Staff in the restaurant as well as front desk were friendly and helpful. Bar / restaurant was not accessible for a drink on Wed night (cover charge of EUR 15). Was not easy to get a drink and finally only in the lobby. Booking of taxi appeared a problem on the departure day. Whereas this had been ordered in the morning, it ultimately arrived 20 min late. Roof trace was closed, despite the fine weather (21 C).

Close to sights and transport links, plenty of resturants and shops nearby. Mostly clean and the staff were very helpful. The view of the Rialto Bridge from our room was just what we were looking for. ( see below we had 3 nights not 2) We had a Canal View room, but it was on the 4th floor and the lift stopped at the 2nd. The hotel is long passed a major renovation, It needs to be brought from the 1930s to at least the 1990s. The Bar was not under Hotel management so we could not charge drinks to the room, but had to pay cash each time which was inconvenient.

Friendly staff, beautiful decor, nice spacious comfortable rooms, breakfast buffet lovely, relaxed atmosphere, stunning roof terrace Did not like that there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room and the room service fee is 8e for a coffee (as an aside it's 30e for a pizza). Room service is always expensive hence the treat of it but this is a bit ridiculous.

The location of the hotel was really good, as it allowed exploration around many of the 'less touristy' areas in Rome. There were restaurants and shops nearby. Our room was very nicely decorated, and was very well equipped. The added extra of the movie package was great. Being able to eat breakfast on the terrance was lovely.

The hotel was in a quiet spot, away from the traffic, yet close enough to walk to the Vatican & other other sites of interest.

I liked it all. The location is perfect, in the heart of the city, walking distance from main sites but also hidden in small streets and very romantic. Hotel design is modern and nice, rooms comfortable and clean, staff very helpful. Breakfast is amazing, makes a very nice start in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Gourmet restaurant at the hotel is also great. Concierge is very helpful especially in choosing among many restaurants in the area.

Excellent hotel. What a nice surprise. Outstanding location, really friendly atmosphere: high top quality but with personal flavor. Just a short walk from all major attractions: easy to navigate from here - to make nice walks towards Vatican, Spanish Stairs, Piazza Navona or even longer excursion towards Forum Romano. Generally: elegant but not posh. Highly recommended.

I believe the website and star rating was hugely misleading and overpriced. This 5 Star Hotel's superior room boasted a bathroom no bigger that a cupboard and a room service menu that consisted of four microwavable options (that charged us 30 euros for each dish). The selling point for me that caused me actually to book this abysmal hotel was the location, which granted was a gorgeous location, but the beautiful views that were displayed on the website were not actually avaliable to us, as the hailed breakfast terrace that would've made the hotel bareable was closed until July - a fact not advertised on the website until after you payed. The staff were brash and aloof, I will not return to this hotel nor would I reccommend this hotel to anyone. I'm shocked it is a 5 star hotel - I have stayed in 3 star hotels that have had better service than this.

This hotel is a good 4 star, not a 5 star hotel. The amenities and general quality of service is good but basic, not luxury as it is sold.

“The location right off of the Piazza Navonna was great. The rooftop bar and restaurant were excellent ( we had our best meal in Italy there).and the views of the city at sunset and night were beautiful. The hotel was very comfortable, good air conditioning, comfortable beds with adjustable positions, We received an upgrade to the executive floor. The room was fairly large for Italy with great bathrooms with wonderful waterfall showers and high quality amenities. The room had a minibar, flat screen tv and good lighting and fairly large closet and dresser. We had a welcome basket and large bottles of water each day along with chocolates, robes and slippers and turn down service each evening. The hotel was small, quiet, with beautiful art work and we felt secure with electronic locks and a room safe. The staff were personable and attentive. The breakfast buffet was diverse and the coffee good. Would definitely return when in Rome.” Barbara, Mt Horeb Wi |

“We had a wonderful stay and would recommend your Hotel to our friends.Loved the location and your staff. From the moment we checked in we were attended to by friendly and very competetant people. Especially, a very nice gentleman that worked in the evenings at the front desk, he would wear his hairl slicked back in typical Italian style, he arranged three dinner reservations for us that were superb.” Valerie, Temecula |
