This hotel was very quaint, and was very nice, my room was big and had a lovely bed, it has free wifi in the room too which was great, and the breakfast was perfect in the mornings. The staff were so helpful and lovely especially Sauel, he was the best. He really went the extra mile to help us out. Location was perfect too as everything was just there for us. All in all great trip
The only slight thing was the lift was very small, but not really a problem as it worked, just a not outdated buy hey its an old building so cant really moan
The location was very nice in a central way of rome
The room was way too smelly. You could hardly breath the moment you enter it. The walls were covered with dark blue wallpaper and the breakfast tooo poor. The elevator was from the past century.
Reception stuff are just the best. Thanks for everything
Only issue was the breakfast was not great. But as the hotel is such good value it would not be a deal breaker.
Excellent location, staff pleasant but Roberto was exceptional, he helped us with midnight snacks and a kettle for our room. Breakfast was good
- An authentique and historical building which is very near to popular touristic places. - Free WiFi - Breakfast - Heating is perfect
- The first floor of the hotel is the third floor of the building that is a little bit hard for carrying strollers. The lift is to small for a stroller.
Clean , friendly staff , quality breakfast, comfort , good location. I recommend this hotel!
Location everywhere 10 minutes walking (Colosseum,Trevi fountain,Spanish steps) , staff, wifi, quiet
Good location at a fair price.
Had to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to the lobby. Breakfast was lame.
The location and the friendly staff was appreciated. The room was charming and the cleaning was very good. The WiFi worked without interruptions. The breakfast was OK, although a bit too much of sugar was added to the croissants.
The traffic from via Nazionale was very noisy during the night despite double windows. Ask for a room not facing via Nazionale if you would like a more quiet stay. The pillows were a bit flat and stiff.
Small bathroom, no tv.... noise since our room is beside the lift.
Hotel is perfectly located in Rome. It is 10 minuter walking distance to colesseum, trevi and other places. Suel was a very kind person and helped us for everything which made hotel even better for us.
Hotel location and personal.
Great staff Nice and clean room Location Price
room, bathroom, breackfast
The location is perfect, breakfast good, the rooms and the hotel itself are nice, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Great time and would recommend it.
There were many things I liked! For well priced accommodation this is great base for exploring Rome and has many great points! Reasonably priced The location is excellent. Close to metro stations and attractions and shops and restaurants. As a solo female traveller I felt safe with buzzer entry and 24 hour reception. Also for a single room it was spacious and comfortable. The guy that was on reception when I arrived was more than helpful with advice and found me a kettle to borrow even though they weren't supplied in the rooms. Wifi was strong. The tv had English channels which I haven't found in other Italian accommodation I have stayed in. Breakfast was really good once especially compared to other Italian accommodation I've stayed in and it was included in the nightly rate which was great. Staff doing breakfast really nice. Rooms are tidy enough and clean.
Breakfast could run a little later as it finishes at 9am but not a big deal. It didn't bother me too much because I was only there for 3 nights and for sightseeing as opposed to relaxing but it was very noisy. I could hear my neighbors talking, the reception staff walking around doing things (all through the night), people getting in late and crashing and banging from 7am from breakfast room right down ths hall. Encountered 3 different receptionists - 1 very good, 1 ok and the third not overly friendly or helpful. Overall, considering the very reasonable price, this is a comfortable, clean and well located base to see Rome!
-walking distance to pretty much everything! -friendly and courteus staff -good size rooms
-breakfast needs variation
Wifi was very fast
1st room was tiny, couldn't move! Asked for another and none left till the next day. We asked if they were the same price; answer "yes" - they couldn't explain why we were being charged the same for a lesser room. Moved the next day to a far bigger room. Breakfast was terrible, we didn't even go the second day. Very dated and shabby. We would not stay there again!
Location is very good.
Rooms are very very small and not confortable Some employees are very rude My room was very near to receiption and there were lots of noise.
Room, too old. Like staying in a dungeon. It's not the same room as the one posted on the internet. I was fooled. No proper sleep, noisy area because of the sirens. The elevator is too creepy and small. Really creepy. It's a perfect room for halloween. The receptionist(male) was kind, he tried to search for another room, but hotel was fully booked.
The Reception staff is more than helpful...well done. location is fantastic
Location and staff were excellent. Walked everywhere except got metro to Vatican - 20 mins ride
The breakfast wasn't great, even if they had a better variety of fruit and breads
Excellent location, Helpful staff, Good breakfast
Location was excellent, staff were friendly and breakfast was good.
Poor accessibility to rooms. Rooms tired and poorly decorated. Loose wiring in bedroom and bathroom making this dangerous for kids. Only one socket for electrics and none in the bedroom?!
