This guest house is a hidden treasure. So close to Metro and walking distance to shops and attractions. The room was modern, comfortable and very quiet. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The fully stocked kitchen was so handy and a chilled Prosecco awaited your return from a busy day. Heaven!
We were very impressed with this B & B. The room was lovely, the staff very gracious and the breakfasts had anything a guest could want. We also appreciated that you were able to help yourself to snacks in the kitchen any time of the day.
A great way to explore Rome, having facilities available all day like the fridge with complementary drinks and snacks made the return after a day's walking round the sights a welcome one
Just not long enough in Rome!!..
Everything was fantastic, Very very great. The staff was amazing!!!
- Great room, small but with all the necessary luxury. - Good location, right next to the Vatican. - Free drinks and small snacks (cake, chips) day and night. - Friendly service
Incredible service! I have 5,000 nights in hotels...never have I had service like this...brought into the breakfast room and served a prosecco and then a snack while being checked into my smallish but beautifull room...very suprising was having the entire reception room with all the snacks and drinks FREE 24 hours a day! Upon my return there was a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates... 9.4 stars are not enough! Superb location right next to the Vatican at the OTTAVIANO metro stop...only improvments would be English TV, preferably SKY.
Convenient location, five minutes from Vatican, but also easy to get to Rome center on foot. A pleasant walk to Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiori, Corso Vittorio Emmanuel, etc. Guests' use of the kitchen, refrigerator, coffee maker a big plus. A welcome bottle of prosecco a nice surprise, and breakfast with luscious, fresh baked pastries-or eggs, cooked to order if that's your preference, make this little hotel a winner.
Felt a lttle rushed at breakfast, as the next shift of diners waited. Would recommend choosing the later shift for a more leisurely pace, but as we had a plane to catch we chose the early slot, 7:30.
very nice ,clean, helpful staff, we than you very much for every thing highly recommend it. Manal Saka Australia
If I could give the staff a higher rating than 5, I would. They were incredibly welcoming, friendly and accommodating. If I could mention them all by name I would but unfortunately I can only remember Elizabeth and Francesca's names. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the location was ideal. It is a 5 minute walk to the Vatican and the neighbourhood is quite nice to walk through. There are several small grocery stores and restaurants right around the corner with a major bus stop and Metro within walking distance which gives you easy access to the other important sights to see. There is a bus and tram line just outside the window but with the windows closed, we barely even noticed anything. With the windows open, you hear more of the hustle and bustle of the people below rather than anything else. The staff kept snacks and bottled water regularly stocked in our room. A delicious breakfast was delivered to our room each morning & the Nespresso machine was nice to have on hand. Overall, this apartment offered our family a very comfortable stay and a great value!
The couch in the living room was very uncomfortable and should probably be replaced. Although the first bathroom was fine, the second bathroom was very small and dark and the toilet took awhile to fill. We found it strange that even though there was a laundry machine in our closet we were not allowed to use it. Washing of our clothes was an offered service but expensive. Wifi worked in the first bedroom, kitchen and living room but not in the second bedroom. We were unable to figure out how to work the stove (even with help from the staff) but were allowed to use the stove in the other apartment to cook. Although the bedrooms have shutters, the second bedroom could use better/black out curtains.
St Peter Guest House counts with an excepcional staff. I was travelling with a family of 9 and it is very hard to keep everyone pleased and they could make it. Also, all of the food and drinks were free and that was awesome!
wonderful all day delicious refreshments and treats from the kitchen. high quality decor, bedding, bathroom - peaceful and elegant, with views down a grand avenue. special care and support for my mother, who is in her senior years and has less mobility. staff provided great support, kindness and respect that made our stay very memorable. were very accommodating on arrival when we were originally located in rooms on different floors and made arrangements to juggle things around to provide a more suitable arrangement and upgrade. thank you all! highly recommended.
St. Peter Guest House was truly amazing. Every single staff member was truly outstanding in customer service and professionalism. The Guest House was immaculate and perfectly located in Rome. I was sad to leave this excellent place.
- Excellent breakfast - Very kind, helpful staff - At nice location (next to Ottaviano Metro Station,McDonalds,BurgerKing,Vatican....)
The staff - all spoke good English & very helpful with our onward travel plans. Very attentive if we had any queries The breakfast - probs my more than we needed & excellent coffee The wine/ Prosecco - very welcome after hard days sight seeing The room - bigger than expected with great shower
Can't think of anything at all & would most definitely stay again
Proximity to touristic attractions Service and amiability of staff Food and availability of facilities Comfort of the rooms and space
Location was awesome. Staff is very friendly and courteous and super helpful. Very near metro and 5 mins walk to vatican museums and st peter's square. Most amazing spread of a breakfast which almost pays for the room by itself for a family of 4. We did not feel hungry until 5 pm. Also they had a supply of snacks, juice, soda, water, cold cuts etc in the room for a quick snack when u come home tired at night. They helped us with maps, travel tips, recommendations for ticket reservations. I cannot say enough good things about the place. It is on main road but the windows keep most of the nice out. We could hear some tram noise but the beds were comfortable that we fell asleep quick. Bathrooms are comfortable and well stocked.
NOT A SINGLE THING
We chose this room based on its location and for the fact that their ad mentioned a shuttle to the airport when it was time to leave. What we didn't expect was to be greeted and treated with such excellence! The staff could not have been more gracious. We were treated as if we were the only guest that mattered to them, and our entire four day stay was all about bringing comfort and service to meet any need we could have. I can't imagine wanting to stay anywhere else should we have the opportunity to return to Rome. Kudos to the management, and thank you to each staff member!
What's not to like?
good location, helpful staff and the huge breakfast.
The wifi signal is not stable in the room.
Staff gave us a warm welcome Location is perfect (walking distance Vatican and metro) We stayed at the two bedroom apartment: perfect, clean, warm, good beds, breakfast in room, mini-bar included. Definitely worth the money!
Location Wonderful room/bathroom Cleanliness Friendliness of staff Breakfast, snacks
Location was great, only about 10 mins walk from Vatican with metro just around the corner. The staff were excellent. Couldn't have been more helpful. Deserves 10/10.
I thought the hostesses at St. Peter Guest House were wonderful. They answered every question we had and provided us with helpful information throughout our stay. The breakfasts and treats were delicious and our room was very comfortable.
Everything was top.location just nearby a metrostation and 5 minutes walk to vatican. Very friendly and helpful staff. plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
Staff were super and very friendly and the rooms were beautifully decorated throughout. Definitely recommend and will visit again.
The rooms are very modern - we had an apartment for the 4 of us - 2 bedrooms with ensuite each, full kitchen and sitting area. Kitchen was fully stocked up and breakfast plentiful. Vatican 5 minutes walk, metro 2 ! Can't fault anything !
