Score from 215 reviews Very good
Location was ideal, a few minutes from Vatican City and a few minutes from the bus stop which took you straight through the City centre with access to all the main attraction in the City.
The room smelt awful It was constantly damp, including the bed! You have to check in before 8pm so if your flight lands after you'll have no where to stay that night! The room wasn't very clean, we found someone's old belly bar in our room. The one guy that worked there wasn't very polite. We managed to get on the 'Free WiFi' for about 30 seconds of the 3 days we were there for. If it didn't work all the help they would provide is' use a LAN cable, we don't provide' obviously no good for tablets or mobile phones. The rooms are basically in the basement barely any natural light, dark and damp!
Location close to St Peters Secure Welcoming and helpful staff Good bathroom and shower facilities High ceiling Places to eat nearby
Bathroom mirror needs to be repaired
The only nice thing i can say about my stay is that the staff was very polite and helpfull...
But, from where to start... after the first day we say the guy we never saw him again... we had to leave the keys in the room What wasn't clear for us is that all the room is basically in the basement of a building There was no label anywhere so we was searching for an hour. The first night we stay was nightmare!People was keep coming and we was listening everything...i think i sleep only for 4 hours that day! Wasn't fair the price for what i got, i pay for 3 nights 230 without taxes at the same days that my friends pay 220 staying in a Hotel in termini. The area was far away from metro or the tourist open busses so we walk a lot... Last i was reading all those pretty comments about how nice and clean is that hotel and i got super disappointed It actually was on of the worst facilities that i have ever been...
Andrea was really helpful!
Souterrain with small windows, not able to open the windows
great location - easy walk to Vatican easy walk to San Pietro station, where Number 64 bus is (straight to Termini across town) Clean, simple, big rooms Nice hard mattress - comfortable sleep
being charged 3.50 city tax whereby it is only 2. my own fault for not challenging no tea or coffee, and no toiletries, which would have been useful.
Very good location. The neighbourhood is calm and friendly. We stayed there for 2 weeks and would definately come again. The rooms were fairly big and very comfy. The bus to go in the city is right behind the hotel and with a great supermarket around the corner.
Early hours in the morning the church bell goes off and its very loud and woke us all up. The wifi was okay but we had the room right at the back so we had to go next to the door.
Location was perfect...train station, bus stop, super market, cafe, patisserie and restaurants all within a 10 minute walk; very close to the Vatican yet private and not too busy. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Utensils, cutlery and dishware provided. Spacious rooms. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.
poor wifi (works in the lobby, but only if 1 person goes at a time) toilet seat was broken top of bunk bead really creaky, ok for kids but not adults (we just moved the mattress to the floor)
Friendly and welcoming check in 5 minutes to the Vatican City Spacious apartment Well equipped kitchenette Fantastic bathroom
Wifi didn't work in our room but did work in the stairwell.
It was very clean, and well-equipment. you can get everywhere very easily. If you come out, you can see the cupola of basilica. You can walk, if you don't mind, or take the bus Nr. 64, and take every famous places, buildings. The main train station is about 25 min. :)
The WIFI was very slow, and it was very difficult to connect. They should just buy an intensifier.. And every morning it was always smell of canal in the bathroom, but just mornings..i don't know why
St. Peters rooms has a excellent location near the Vatican city and train station. The room where I stayed in was as the picture showed. Nice furniture and decoration.
The facilities have good quality. However, there was a couple of problems with the drain of the shower and of the sink in the kitchen. Both drains were blocked. So it was difficult to take a good shower or used the sink at the kitchen. Hope they have solved these problems now!
everything was fine
Price was cheap Great air conditioned room
My mother in laws bed smelled horrible! Unorganized staff We thought this was a real hotel but it was just a few rooms in an apartment bldg.
very cozy and comfortable room and bed, clean and in a great area! Helpfull staff!!!
the room was in the basement, if courtains are open, people can see u from the street.
Andreos availability and kindnness, the proximity to Vatican and local tourist attractions.
Nothing to mention.
Very good location and a quiet neighbourhood.
Simple, clean. Great value for the money.
The refrigerator hasn't been used for some time, so it had a bit of a stuffy smell
the place it´s ok, the room confortable, Andreas is very kind and he was helping me in everything that I was asking for. It´s very near the Vatican and not to far away from the center, you can take a bus from the St.Peters station that cross all the center of Rome.
If you need to be in contact by internet, it´s not the place for you, the connection is very bad, and is so difficult to find o place with internet in Rome. The the best is to get a room with a good connection.
Very close to St. Peter's square, the Vatican city, and all the sightseeings in Rome's center. You can go by foot almost everywhere. Nice design, very comfortable bed and overlall room. Has a Carefour supermarket nearby.
The room's a little bit dark. It needs stronger lights. We had noise from the above floor, which had kids playing all the time. The tv had only 3 italian channels. In such a tourist aimed appartment it's unacceptable not to have some cable or satellite foreign (at least English) channels. The wifi had serious problems connecting when other customers where connected. No breakfast at that room cost.
can't use the wifi, which is the only inconvenience.
Excellent budget hotel 100m from St Peters. Good local bars restaurants and shops. Manager very friendly and helpful
Not a complaint just advice. You will find it hard to find as it's the ground floor of a normal apartment block. Phone ahead when you're near
Very friendly staff, nice location (about 3 mins to Vatican City and 20 mins to the center of Rome by walking) and price/quality relation.
It feels like humidity in the room is higher than average, and because of it it was difficult to breath in nights. Also there's now breakfast and wi-fi doesn't work at times. The room in which ain't stayed was in a ground floor, and therefore the view from my window was awful.
- room was clean; - staff was accommodating but was by himself and was not always available - location was excellent
- Lack of facilities or needed equipments like plates, glass or cups (even disposable ones); - there shd be a room where guests can eat; a common fridge would be good; - no soap or shampoo provided; - wifi not working
The costs rose 4 euros from the reservation when I arrived to the hotel.
We stayed there in Winter, and unfortunately it was cold inside, even though we put an AC on max hot... Rooms are located in basement of old building, i suppose that's why. Although it can be a quality when you travel to Rome in summer.
