The First of May Festival brought many flower vendors to the city making it especially memorable. The hotel is on the main square, overlooking the festival. It was a perfect place to look at the mountains and watch the activities of the Festival. The breakfast had the best options of any hotel we have been in for a long while. The staff were very courteous and spoke 3 languages: English, German, and Italian. Bolzano is a shopping mecca with many, many fine shops.

Getting to hotel with my GPS a bit difficult and had to park a 100 meters off.

Location superb. Our room was spacious with a view of the main square and mountains. Really beautiful. All the staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and comprehensive.

Everything was great and could not be faulted.

Location was great. Parking garage directly below the hotel. Excellent breakfast buffet. Very nice spa. Nice quiet rooms.

the general ambience of the place & was surprised as to how "up-market" it was.it, quite obviously, also so well situated in the centre of the city - all in all a very pleasant plce to stay without being "overbearing"

the restaurant was not at all to our liking. it really didn't have the kind of menu where we could just pop downstairs for dinner at night for a substantial conventional meal. and it was always too crowded when we just wanted a quick snack.

The location was great, Breakfast was plentiful and hotel staff very helpful!

Loved the location right on the Walther Platz, loved that the windows could open wide, the breakfast (included with room) was PHENOMENAL!

We always like to stay connected, and wi-fi was available, but a little cumbersome to get signed up--everyone had an individual username and password, for a limited time.

This is a fine hotel located on the main square of Bolzano, Waltherplatz. It has a fine cafe with outdoor seating, featuring coffee, cocktails, and Tyrolean pastries. Italian, German, and English daily newspapers are available for free. The room was very clean and comfortable, the bathroom was large and well-lit. There was a large desk area and free wi-fi. Most significantly, this hotel has the finest breakfast we have enjoyed anywhere in Europe. It is a huge buffet offering everything imaginable. A server will bring you a large pot of caffe americano - an amenity frequently unavailable. We paid 149 Euro per night [taxes included], and found this a good value for what we experienced here.

The location right on plaza Walter. I had a room with a great view of mts and plaza. Enjoyed the restaurant for a per dinner drink with all the newspapers. Liked the hardwood floors and excellent breakfast

The city of Bolzano itself is not that interesting but the hotel located very centrally and on a nice piazza. It has a great breakfast and a good bar attached. If you have to be in Bolzano it's definitely a good place to be in

The hotel location is perfect. It is very convenient to hang around the Bolzano city. Also there is a nice cafe on the first floor. The room is very nice and clean.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. I have now stayed there 3 times and will continue to return. The staff remembered me from my previous visits and as always provided very good service. It deserves a high rating. Thank-you to all of the staff.

Location was amazing, right on the main city square! Parking in the P3 parking lot leads straight to the hotel lobby. Amazing breakfast!

The town's best cafe terrace - no competition - overlooking the main square. This is where tout Bolzano congregates, and for good reason. International newspapers, including Herald Tribune.

The internet sucks, and management tried to blame my devices - untill two other guests showed up at front desk complaining as well. I demanded and received compensation. Still, about an hour of time wasted. Hope the nice managing couple will take matter seriously, because I would love to come back for the location and atmospherics.

I had understood that breakfast could be taken outside, however this was not on offer when we stayed as this now seems to be being used as a cafe attached to the hotel. The dining room was rather small and with a lot of babies and children making it a rather loud and stressful breakfast.

Lovely hotel situated on the Piazza. The breakfast was perfect for us before setting out on our adventures. Plenty to eat and great variety to choose from. The staff were very helpful especially as we could only speak english. We would certaily return to the Dolomiti and stay at this hotel.
