Excellent location, helpful staff
we enjoyed our stay in the star hotel very much, the staff was outstanding and really made everything possible to help, the location is excellent
Poor breakfast No facilitys jeam & somingpol
The staff members at the reception and at the breakfast were very helpful nice and pleasant. The location is excellent and the design of the room is nice.
The breakfast, though quite good, could have more variety. The door of the bathroom was difficult to close, and when closed difficult to open. The bath could be cleaner
The hotel is in an ideal position for visiting the sites of Milan. Only 3 minute walk to the Cathedral which is out of this world. Staff were welcoming and friendly with plenty of local knowledge and very good English
I didn't like the breakfast much but there was plenty of choice - eggs, bacon, pastries, ham, cheese. Just not to my liking. Also no milk for tea and coffee in the room just creamer. But these are just little things probably me being a bit fussy.
the location staff is very good
The location is excellent, in the centre of town close to the Duomo. Breakfast is not particularly special, but there's a good range of nice options.
Perhaps it was because it was Fashion Week, but I felt that the hotel was overpriced for what you got. The room was comfortable but small, and the decor and furnishings perfectly fine, but a little dark and dated
Excellent location, 5 minutes walk from La Scala theater, the Duomo and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. 12 minutes walk from Cadorna train station. Receptionist are helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good, but lack of vegetables. Free Wifi for 2 devices.
The shower was a little bit small.
Walking distance from everything you want to see on your first trip to Milan. Rooms large and clean breakfast excellent, bathroom clean Staff friendly and helpful.
BUT the toilet paper holder was placed under the basin and no way could you reach it when you needed.
Breakfasts were excellent. Staff considerate and helpful.
Bathroom lacked means of hanging towels to dry. Closet hangers arranged front to back instead of across. Shower too small; just 2-3 more inches would help. Window lacked screen so we suffered mosquitos. Air conditioner had unexplained operation.
The varieties and quality of breakfast.
Everything was perfect....
Location. Staff's friendliness, knowledge of the city and customer service attitude.
Incredibly high standard of cleanliness - everything sparkled. Very convenient position. Excellent breakfast. Helpful and pleasant staff.
Nothing really. When we first arrived, I thought it looked a bit dark, and in a side street.. but this impression was false - it was very good indeed
I liked everything about this hotel. The room was great; the staff was extremely friendly, gracious and helpful. The location was central for all the sights in Milan. The breakfast offering was wonderful. It was almost the best part of my visit!
The shower stall was a bit cramped.
The location, and the fact that the room is exactly as it appears online
The shower is too small, luck I am very slim.
Loved that it was so close to the Duomo .. Loved the breakfast and service Would have preferred a room with animal painting as we had seen on the internet ? Loved all the staff and the efficiency of a 5 star hotel .. Anything we asked for was promptly dealt with ...all with a smile and friendly service
Maybe the tram noise early in the morning ?
the hotel is romantic and very comfortable. Maria, of the reception, very helpfull
The location was great. Everything was clean and it was very affordable.
There was a mix up or misunderstanding with my room. I don't like how that was handled at all.
The staff, especially Maria, were lovely, most helpful. We were thrilled with our room when we arrived and vowed to return - until the debacle that night!
At 1:15 a.m we were awakened by the sound of a cascade in our room. A flood of water was pouring out of one of the light fixtures into the room. I called the front desk and a man came up and, once he saw the disaster that was our room, brought towels to mop up the water. Although the intensity of the dripping slowed, it continued all night and we got no sleep. I told the concierge that I expected a considerable reduction in the room rate. She had to call the manager, who offered a $40 reduction. I said that I thought half off would be acceptable, although we should have been compted.
Good value for the location
Breakfast poor enough
