A great place in Rome. I want to return soon :-) Thank you, signora Assunta for all!
Assunta the Manager was very nice and really does everything to assist and help the guests. Nice location near Termini station. Very quiet and some good restaurants in the area
Assunta, the manager, goes out of her way to accommodate. The room was very comfortable. Private bath. Great air conditioner!
The location is very out-of-the-way and we had to take a taxi everywhere, since we weren't comfortable on the city bus and didn't have time to ride around anyway. Also, breakfast is provided by the deli next door, which was only open one day of our visit - only through the week.
We really enjoyed to stay at Stelle di San Lorenzo, everything was great! The location of B&B is very convenient, about 10 min walk to termini station. Very comfortable and clean room with nice view from a balcony. Hostess Assunta is very friendly and helpful. She showed us where all of the places we wanted to visit were on the map and she also recommend some lovely cafes near the B&B. Thank you, signora Assunta!
Assunta, she's a very very sweet host. She is very very attentive and friendly. I am feeling very warmth welcoming and detailed information for visit Rome. Room is superb and comfortable. The room is very modern with a taste of classic art of Rome. Loving every-bit of it.
Wi-Fi was good - Asunta (manager) was so welcoming ...
The bed was awful. In fact it was not a double bed but two single beds connected to each other. I couldn't sleep well at nights. Manager told me all rooms have this kind of bed, so in this case beds are not comfortable at all.
Assunta was the best roman we knew :) with her tipps the trip to rome became wonderfull !!! the place was perfect !!! we recommend her place to everyone !!!
Very warm welcome by Assunta. The room was spacious, bright, airy and clean, and had excellent en suite facilities - good value for money. Thanks, Marija
Missis Assunta, an extremely friendly Lady, emailed me giving very good advices how to reach the place. Very helpful when you are first time in a city. The hotel is close to rail station and the neighborhood lovely. The room was clean, spacious, with gorgeous view over the surroundings. Simple breakfast but at the hand day and night, as well as the espresso (perfect if you are coffee addicted:)). I highly recommend Stelle Di San Lorenzo for short or longer stay and for sure it will be my choice for the next time I will be in Rome.
Lovely B&B run by wonderful host, very convenient location
Assunta, the owner, is fantastic! really friendly and she told us a lot of things about Rome, and gave us advises about places to visits, restaurants,... Location is great! The area is beautiful and safe! There are a lot of nice cafe', restaurants and it is just 30 min walking from the colloseum and 10 minutes walking from Termini. Also, the room and the appartment is really clean and elegant, with a lovely terrace with a beautiful view of the area.
Nothing! I would love to come back !!!
The location is convenient, about 10 min walk to termini. The hot choclate is provided in living room. There is a pizza cafe just next to the B&B, and food there is very very very tasteful.
Staff is nice and friendly. Free wifi in the room. Bath room was wide and functional. Nice terrace.
Breakfast is poor. You need to agree in advance your arrival and check-in time since the staff is not always there. The building is shared with many private apartments and does not look so nice. There were restaurant kitchens in buildings nearby that smelled sometimes.
Assunta was the most amazing host and warmly welcomed us on arrival, despite the fact we got in at midnight! She gave us some bubbly (coke for me as I don't like booze) and showed us where all of the places we wanted to visit were on the map. She was also able to recommend some lovely restaurants in the area, one of which was able to cater to us at 1am! The room was beautiful, very comfortable large bed, newly fitted bathroom with walk in shower and a TV with loads of channels and a build in DVD player, normally this wouldn't be something I point out but after wondering the streets of Rome for 10 hours, it was a god send to have some DVDs to watch when we got back with swollen and tired feet! The breakfast was little cakes and croissants which were available all day in a basket and a really good hot drink machine, this was perfect for us as we are more night time nibblers than early morning buffet breakfast people! Location was ideal, 5 minutes from the main station and 20-40 minutes walking distance from pretty much everything. I can highly recommend walking as many places as possible, although tiring, you come across some amazing things you would miss otherwise. All in all, an absolutely wonderful place to stay that I couldn't recommend highly enough. THANK YOU ASSUNTA!
Assunta was a great host. Helped with restaurants, where to visit, very friendly and made us feel really welcome.
