Self service breakfast, totally unexpected but excellent to have the possibility to drink something warm in the terrace of my room. Very nice location, quiet and nice
The only problem is that you can hear every noise coming from the other rooms, so the quality of sleep depends on how noisy other guests are.
Assunta the owner, is very welcoming, has very positive energy and she gives you a lot of suggestions and tips on how to have a wonderful holiday. On the 31 December she put in our room a little champagne and chocolates and this was very sweet of her. There is no breakfast but outside the rooms there is a very good coffee machine and tasty croissants, available at any time! The rooms are big and comfortable and the decoration is very nice. The whole place is very cosy. Definitely good value for money. The neighborhood is quiet.
The bed is not very comfortable but compared to the rest of the positive things this is not a great issue
Convenient location for transportation and close to good restaurants. Quite neighborhood.
- Location and comfort -Mrs. Assuanta (the owner) is very friendly and helpful. She helped me a lot during my stay. - The room is very clean and the furniture is in excellent condition - Tea, coffee, water is free - I strongly recommend staying in this hotel
The owner of the place, Ms. Assunta was very helpful in finding places to eat and shop. The rooms were spacious and well decorated. The place was at a quite neighborhood but very close to the university and the San Lorenzo area.
It was hard to locate the place because it is not a hotel in the classical sense. One floor of an apartment building was apparently transformed into a small pension. So, when you find the address, you might be surprised that there is no sign regarding the place. It is best to get in touch with the owner of the place in advance so that they know your arrival time. But otherwise the rooms are great and I may stay there again if I go back to Rome.
A great place in Rome. I want to return soon :-) Thank you, signora Assunta for all!
Assunta the Manager was very nice and really does everything to assist and help the guests. Nice location near Termini station. Very quiet and some good restaurants in the area
Assunta, the manager, goes out of her way to accommodate. The room was very comfortable. Private bath. Great air conditioner!
The location is very out-of-the-way and we had to take a taxi everywhere, since we weren't comfortable on the city bus and didn't have time to ride around anyway. Also, breakfast is provided by the deli next door, which was only open one day of our visit - only through the week.
We really enjoyed to stay at Stelle di San Lorenzo, everything was great! The location of B&B is very convenient, about 10 min walk to termini station. Very comfortable and clean room with nice view from a balcony. Hostess Assunta is very friendly and helpful. She showed us where all of the places we wanted to visit were on the map and she also recommend some lovely cafes near the B&B. Thank you, signora Assunta!
Assunta, she's a very very sweet host. She is very very attentive and friendly. I am feeling very warmth welcoming and detailed information for visit Rome. Room is superb and comfortable. The room is very modern with a taste of classic art of Rome. Loving every-bit of it.
Wi-Fi was good - Asunta (manager) was so welcoming ...
The bed was awful. In fact it was not a double bed but two single beds connected to each other. I couldn't sleep well at nights. Manager told me all rooms have this kind of bed, so in this case beds are not comfortable at all.
Assunta was the best roman we knew :) with her tipps the trip to rome became wonderfull !!! the place was perfect !!! we recommend her place to everyone !!!
Very warm welcome by Assunta. The room was spacious, bright, airy and clean, and had excellent en suite facilities - good value for money. Thanks, Marija
Missis Assunta, an extremely friendly Lady, emailed me giving very good advices how to reach the place. Very helpful when you are first time in a city. The hotel is close to rail station and the neighborhood lovely. The room was clean, spacious, with gorgeous view over the surroundings. Simple breakfast but at the hand day and night, as well as the espresso (perfect if you are coffee addicted:)). I highly recommend Stelle Di San Lorenzo for short or longer stay and for sure it will be my choice for the next time I will be in Rome.
Lovely B&B run by wonderful host, very convenient location
