Good location. Large room with plenty of cupboard space though furniture a bit too imitation classic. Bar in room reasonably priced. Garage an advantage and well supervised and reasonably priced. Nice size bathroom/shower.

Breakfast adequate but in the context, rather poor for the price paid for the room. Breakfast at the Mercure in Fontainebleau is much better in all respects. Poor variety of breads and of cheeses. It is a bit that a luxury prices room faced the light well at the back of the hotel.

- not attentive older personnels at the reception, breakfast room, bar and lounge. - two plastic cups in a Deluxe Twin room in a 4 stars hotel?! - Loundry price wasn't the same as on a order paper! No apology from the reception or correction. - Very bad hotel management in general

Lack of real juice for breakfast (the made from concentrate one has a horrible taste); hand towels were replaced by bidet towels

Clean, comfortable, elegant spaces. Very courteous, friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfasts. Nearby garage.

Its probably typical for Italy (France too) but for a 4-star hotel I would have expected a better breakfast: the juice was not fresh, but some sweetened liquid, only one cheese, one ham on offer etc...

There was no heating in the dining room. Had to move bedrooms because the shower cubicle tiles were cracked. A cold unfriendly hotel.

Everything you would expect from a 4-star hotel.

Excellent location for both historic city visit and day trips via train outside Parma. Elegant public areas and individual rooms. Good breakfast selections.

Lighting fixtures can use an upgrade in the room. No restaurant for dining when a person is arriving late, unfamiliar with the town, and if raining....

The room was very pleasant, clean, and had a great view.

This was the only hotel on our 18 day tour of Italy that left a bad taste in our mouth. The gentleman at the reception counter was definitely not "user friendly". He was very curt and short with answers to our questions. He was truly having a VERY bad day. He was ony able to give us the name of one restaurant (which you had to take a taxi to) and he had to give us a discount card. When asked about other restaurants within walking distance, he said he didn't know of any. When we asked directions to the Hertz car rental, he put his hands up in the air and called someone from the back of the office to answer our question. This was the first time

A good breakfast

A detail: the light turns on after one enters the room for around 5 minutes and can not be switched off. Uncomfortable during the night when room is shared by two people.

The hotel was quiet, and within walking distance of where we wanted to eat. I appreciated the parking garage, and that the staff spoke english.

This was an oddly-formal hotel. The metal roll-down shutters made the room feel like prison cell, even though the room had a lot of formal furniture. Not sure who the target audience is for this one...we did not feel comfortable in the room, although it was clean and well furnished. It felt sterile, rather than warm. Glad we only stayed one night.

It was conveniently located.

No iron/ironing board due to safety reasons, I was told. Being a traveler, I llike to make sure that when I get dressed for the day, the clothes are not wrinkled. I rely on the hotel in which I am staying to provide the tools I need to do so and not having an iron at this hotel is odd and was disappointing.
