What a beautiful little hotel, just a stones throw from Trabia and Palermo, in a little town called Santa Flavia. Here, we had a room with a wonderful view overlooking the boat harbor. Very romantic and spacious, not noisy at all as the streets closed down early, which was just fine for us. Our host was most charming and an architect who did a fabulous job in remodeling this gem! The bed was a platform bed with a ridge around it. Looked beautiful, but hard to get out of! Missed having breakfast available. We had been spoiled by it!

Location. It was near the Auto Strada, and highway 121 (which took you to Agrigento), across the mountains. A beautiful drive. There was no coffee available in the hotel. you had to go to a local bar to get breakfast (coffee and/or a roll) It wasn't easy to find something to eat in the morning.

Everything was very nice. Our room looked out on the port and the little square with several restaurants that offered everything from pizza to wonderful seafood. Pleasant music filled the night air which completed the romantic setting. Finding the facility was impossible for us. Upon leaving the autostrada, we called the hotel for directions. However, instead of directions we were met and brought directly to the hotel. Who could ask for more? Not really a negative, just a little disconserting when traveling in a foreign country.

Wer Lesen will muss allerdings eine Kopfstirnlampe mitnehmen....

Was will man mehr.

Stefano, the owner of the hotel, welcomed us very nicely. He upgraded us to a room with view on the harbour (porto) which was super nice. He also recommended us a fish restaurant just down the hotel on the harbour which was "deliocoso". We had a wonderful evening and night! Nothing. Everything was fine.
