The Hotel Strand is set right on the beach, just a few feet from some of Italys cleanest waters. It is a friendly, family-run establishment offering warm hospitality. The hotel sits on the Bay of Molise which has been awarded an EU Blue Flag for its clean waters and good infrastructure. The hotel's location makes it a great place for families; the beach is safe for children and water sports enthusiasts. Beach umbrellas and lounge chairs are available from the Strand Hotel for an additional fee. Sample some of the region's culinary delights at the hotel's panoramic restaurant including fresh fish and seafood specialties. The Strand is just half a mile from the A14 highway exit. Excursions to vineyards and wineries are also available and the nearby historic towns of Vasto and Termoli are perfect for an evening walk. position on the seafront. Unofortunately, the neighborhoood is being heavily over-developed and is beggining to resemble a bad, American suburban development. This detracts form the appeal of the Strand, a 1980's building with lovely staff. The seafront in the Costa Verde is becoming a suburban mess....dreadful. The new Lunghomare is awful - concrete wall obstructs ones view of the sea and the boardwalk goes nowhere and is an inartful unapealing concrete slab. This natural beauty of this region is remarkable - it is sad to see it denatured.

A pochi metri dal mare, sulla spiaggia nel vero senso della parola, con ristorantino vista mare con cucina da provare. Pulizia camere vicine alla propria, la mattina, un po' rumorosa, ma utile per chi non ha sentito la sveglia.

Siamo stati sfortunati? Ci hanno assegnato una camera ricavata da un sottotetto,abbiamo dormito senza inserire la scheda nella taschina in quanto l'impianto elettrico era come una cicala, per fortuna la sera ha piovuto così abbiamo potuto fare a meno dell'aria condizionata. Una folata di vento durante la pioggia ha tolto da sotto il letto lanugine e capelli.Il bagno era piccolo, la doccia era per I sette nani e la tenda della doccia era incartapecorita e di colore rosso al fondo.Neppure la cuffia per la doccia.

La pulizia delle camere è a dir poco penosa come le condizioni dei servizi igenici e doccia compresa! La colazione comprendeva caffè improponibile e briosches immangiabili! Abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte (per fortuna) in quanto eravamo di passaggio per il Salento con mia moglie e mia figlia di 2 anni e mezzo, onestamente ero in disagio e preoccupato per ogni cosa veniva a contatto con lei (mia figlia). 3 stelle? Forse 1 sarebbe già di troppo.

Ett trevligt hotell med bra och trevlig personal, utmärkt mat (fina fiskrätter). Fint strandläge med bra sandstrand och helt ok bad. Läget I förhållande till närliggande ort kräver promenad på landsväg då det ej finns en utbyggd gångväg längs en strandpromenad.
