Score from 151 reviews Wonderful
Excellent standard of cleanliness Excellent location Efficient and courteous service where staff are always ready to help Excellent WIFI
The room was really spacey and the furnitures were to the style, not hi-tech but good old-fashioned. In room breakfast lovely, staff extremely kind and helpful. I would definitely go back.
A bit tricky to find the street where the hotel is.
Wonderful small hotel in a great location. Felt more like a B&B than a hotel. On third floor of a beautiful old building tucked away in a narrow street 100 metres from the top of the Spanish Steps.
Some noise in corridor with other guests arriving and departing.
Good location, very good staff and breakfast is delivered to your room.
The shower was crazy small, we are not oversized people and we couldn't fit in it properly The poor breakfast they offer is served in your room which was not cozy at all. We couldn't make them understand that they should write this in Bookings page. That the way it is written is wrong. My text recomendation "the breakfast is included In the room rate and it is served in the room". The room was extremely simple and outdated. Also the level of privacy was minimal, you could hear everything. Thie entire hotel should be updated with a new plan layout since there is a lot of wasted spaces now. It is a pity because the building and area us very good
The hotel is a short block away from the top of the Spanish Steps with some very nice architecture and doorways lining the street from the hotel to the Steps. Indeed the famous "monster" house is some 50 meters up the street. The hotel itself is very clean and has a nice staff. The rooms are more like bedrooms in a nice house and one of our rooms (we booked 2) was really spacious and elegantly decorated. The common area included a nice parlor room. Some very nice decorative touches as well. It was reasonable as well.
The hotel is on the third floor of a building which would not have been bad had not the elevator failed (fixed on our final day). Some street noise at night.
nice room. very friendly staff. breakfast in the room is interesting
Great location, lovely staff, little sitting room, sweet breakfast service
Rooms are small, the bed is too hard for me, the shower size drove me crazy
excellent place, very clean, kind staff
breakfast could be more generous
I loved the location, the interiors and how teh staff were so helpful and attentive.
A great find in Rome. I was traveling with my older daughter.
A quiet oasis in the middle of Rome - slept so peacefully here. Very comfortable. Great neighborhood a few blocks from top of Spanish Steps. Very clean, large room with both fan and air con. NIce breakfast.
Very small accordion door shower. That 3 different employees asked me what time I thought I was checking out - made me feel a little unwanted. I normally just check out at or before check out time...
Price and location
Toilet was not working and night auditor at first refused to believe me. Could not have been communication problem, as I speak fluent Italian. WiFi very slow.
friendly staff, locaton
Kindly persons, excellent lokation, familly atmosphere. We will come back agian, like a previous three times.
Very handy to Spanish Steps, Via Veneto, and Barberini Metro stop.
The location was optimal for doing walks to the metro, and the other standard attractions. I liked it better than the place I went next at the top of Via Vennetto, which require an uphill walk. It was very quiet, which isn't easy to find in Italy in the lower price points. Aircon, TV and WiFi were good, delivered breakfast good, as was value. Bathroom tight, shower good.
The staff - they were just wonderful, very helpful. And the location, of course, it is great.
Staff are very friendly and helpful! Recommended me very nice restaurants nearby!
Great location. Nice clean rooms. Friendly management. Nice simple breakfast.
Must eat breakfast in your room, and only available space is on your bed..Free wi-fi, but very slow.
We had a very pleasant stay in this typical old style italian house. The personnel was very attentive to our requests made during booking: quiet room with balcony facing the interior garden, reliable wi-fi connection in the room, functional airco, nice breakfast served in the room. Essentially everything we needed for the perfect stay in the centre of Rome. Thank you!
Super location. Use the Spagna Metro station then its a downhill walk to the hotel.
The location was great and the breakfast brought to the room every morning was a nice touch. The staff was very gracious and helpful.
Our first room was huge but on the street and so it was pretty noisy. They changed our room after letting us select from what was available and we were much happier.
Close to the Steps and rail.If you ask they will make lovely coffee for you.
This lovely hotel is on the third floor of an old Palazzo in a very central area - close to the Spanish Steps. There is a warm welcome and a very helpful and friendly family atmosphere. We were helped with booking restaurants and finding sights and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were a good size with high ceilings and windows onto a quiet courtyard. An excellent place from which to explore Rome.
