Beautiful rooms, breakfast next door in the restaurant. Great location.
Breakfast not before 9.30am, makes for a late start. No breakfast on Sunday, but provisions in the room.
The apartment was gorgeous! Beds were comfy, fantastic shower. The Spanish steps and Trevi Fountain are very close. Lovely store at the top of the street where you can buy gelato, pastries, sandwhiches, wine
My husband and I got covered in some kind of bug bites. All over our faces, backs, legs, arms, ankles, even our hands and fingers. I checked for bed bugs but couldn't find any in the mattress. I don't know what kind of bites they were but they sure itched like crazy! Used hydrocortisone cream and also took an antihistamine, for several days.
My wife, adult daughter and I loved the location. We thought Via Della Vite to be one of the most pleasant streets in all of Rome; it was absolutely charming. The guest house is close to the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, and other sites but just far enough away to avoid the crush of people. Annette was a tremendous help as were the owner and staff in the restaurant. They provided anything we requested. We had the two rooms with two baths on the second floor, and it was a perfect set-up for us. The suite was exceptionally clean, very comfortable and I would stay there again with hesitation.
The shower in one of the bedrooms was broken, and it was difficult to regulate the cold water. It was not so hot that it was impossible to shower, but close. The management was aware of the problem and working on it.
the location was really great
guys you need to put washing machine.
It felt like home. Everything was perfect. We felt the real italy not just somewhere to sleep in comfort.
The housemaid. Her manners could have spoilt everything but the owners more than made up for her rudeness. They were great. Dont know how she fits in to this wonderful group of people. She is a nightmare.
We loved everything about this accommodation. A big plus for the people. The most kind and helpful one can find. Location is just great. No need to use any public transportation to see Rome's highlights. Everything is just nearby. Rooms are very clean every day. Minibar is free. Wifi works well enough. Breakfast very good. The restaurant downstairs serves the best Italian dishes. Try the ossobucco :). And the wines! Mille grazie Signora Maria, Roberto and the other three waiters I could not remember their names!
Nothing. Everything perfect!
Lovely place. They'll make you anything for breakfast but you have to ASK.
Racking my brains...It's in a pricey area.
Location can't be any better, suite extremely well-kept, and staff are simply exceptional. Special mention goes to Roberto who went out of his way on a daily basis to cater for my wife's special dietary needs and to make sure that our stay be a memorable one. Also, Ristorante Mario, belonging to the owners of the suites and underlying the same suites is an exceptional restaurant offering exquisite Italian food and an array of fine wines. We will definitely be returning without any hesitation.
spacey room Good design excellent location
wifi not working Address difficult to find as there is no sign on the hotel Breakfast start at 9.30 Reception is inside restaurant
Every thing is great They consider a very minute things to make you comfort
Old building& elevator But to be honest they did their best to overcome this
Super great place to stay for a couple days. Location is wonderful.
The location is fantastic, very easy to walk everywhere from here. It may be hard to find for a taxi as the streets are narrow and busy, and we were very pleased we hired Rome Chauffeurs who were brilliant. Lovely room, spacious and charming. Restaurant below meant that we felt safe and secure. Family run, breakfast was part of its charm, but a bit lacking in actual food. Would certainly stay there again.
Could be noisy, but purely because you are right in the centre of Rome.
Location was excellent. We walked to all the major attractions with the exception of the Vatican. The room was comfortable and the free stocked bar fridge was an unusual but thoughtful feature. Albert was particularly helpful with checking in and becoming familiar with our accommodation. Breakfast service was efficient.
We had specifically asked for a quiet room but had one overlooking Via della Vite. Even though this is not a major thoroughfare it was still noisy to the early hours of the morning with sound echoing up the narrow street. After a bsuy day in Rome you look forward to a peaceful nights sleep. One morning we had to wait for breakfast until 9am and other mornings between 8am and 8.30am. This is late considering all the things that there are to see in Rome. We would have liked to have made earlier starts. This would have been possible by having the uncooked breakfast in our room but we preferred the omellete and othe egg dishes. The leaking shower door mentioned in many other reviews has not been fixed and could result in an accident as the bath mat becomes saturated and the floor slippery.
the suites were very comfortable, the staff very helpful , the restaurant( Mario's) fantastic and the owners friendly and welcoming to a rare degree.
noises from the street : car alarms, noisy tourists and street cleaners in the morning .
The location was amazing, there were some nice touches
The internet did not work, the air con did not work, we did not wish to be disturbed one morning but there was a knock on the door and the lady on the other side insisted on watering the plants on the terrace. The breakfast was poor, there was no real selection. We paid a lot of money and I expected more.
Lack of maintenance as the shower leaked water onto floor.the shower doors were loose on their fittings and on the second last when my wife had finished her shower and stepped out the glass door fell out of its mounts and shattered cutting my wife's feet and bottom. The company then moved us to the penthouse suite but at no time were they concerned about the cuts or how my wife felt.
it's cozy centralized (walking distance from important touristic sites)
Perfect location in the heart of Rome. Nice breakfast (but you have to say what you whant)
WiFi worked only sporadically
in the centre. no need for car atoll.
during our stay the staff were in holiday, so there is only one lady to handle all the work starting from preparing the breakfast and do the housekeeping for all rooms.
Location is wonderful and the staff was very helpful. Room was clean and well maintained...
Helpful staff and nice location
Excellent location for visiting the most important attractions. Great staff, Annette is very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Extremely reliable and I would definitely return there on my next trip to Rome.
The room was a bit small but if you're planning to visit the city it won't matter that much.
Would definitely stay in the same place again; breakfast great; staff couldn't be more helpful; fantastic location and spacious comfortable suite with everything we needed including complementary soft drinks.
nothing to dislike
The staff is most accommodating. Anything we needed - maps, 110 volt AC adapter, directions - they were extremely happy to provide. Their restaurant - Mario's - serves great breakfasts (included in price). Location is great. Suites are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Great expresso machine in the room. All in all, great value for what we paid.
The internet is sporadic, but could probably be rectified with a more powerful router.
The location was fantastic, very close to the Trevii Fountain and Spanish Steps. The apartment for four adults was very large.
Breakfast arrangements were unusual. Before 9:30 breakfast is in own room after 9:30 a very full breakfast is served the restaurant situated under the apartment.
