Small and cozy hotel in a perfect location. If you are looking to see and feel the real Naples, hotel "Suite Esedra" is the place for you. Our room - The "Venere (Venus) Suite" was on the top floor, we had a beautiful and large roof terrace with jacuzzi... I really liked it. The room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Wifi and AC worked well. Friendly and helpful staff, they spoke English well. And one more thing: close to the "Suite Esedra" (only 2 minutes walking from hotel) you can find the "Pizzeria da Michele" - probably the most famous Pizzeria in Italy, this is the place where Julia Roberts eats pizza in the movie "Eat, Pray & Love".

Nothing to complain about. But in my opinion, the bathroom needs renovation.

We actually didn't stay at Hotel Estrada because it was undergoing rennovations. We were upgraded to a companion property.

    Good central location.

It's got very tatty and is well past needing a refurb. We first stayed here 4 years ago and I don't think it has been touched in that time and is now looking a little tired :-(

    Breakfast

This was the most expensive hotel during our April 2014 11 day pilgrimage in Italy. It was a disappointment as the room was very small, the air freshener was very prominent, and it was noisy till 2 am as the Napalese were celebrating on a main road just outside the hotel ... it lasted well into the night. I realize this is not the hotel's fault but it made our stay very unpleasant. When asked, the front staff at the desk could not tell us the Mass at the Cathedral of St. Jannarius, only a 12 minute walk away. Do they really know their neighbourhood? I would not recommend and I would never stay there again.

    There was nothing positive.

During the reservation I informed the hotel that I would arrive after 10 pm in the night. When I arrived to the hotel during the night the receptionst received me with the news that they did not have any free room for the night. He sent me to an another member of the hotelchain which - as it turned out - was far away from Suite Esedra and it was next to a main road. In this other hotel the room's window was a half window started from the floor and the room was extremely noisy due the main road, so it was impossible to have rest. Moreover the next day it took me extra time and extra 12 EUR to go back to the place where Suite Esedra was as I had a meeting in that area. I do not recommend Suite Esedra to anybody.

Location...it was set back from the street. Very clean, good facilities, nice breakfast. Good value for the money. Close to the train station.

Slightly sketchy neighborhood. Heard someone trying to steal a car in the middle of the night.

The location was good for me.

The room was a bit old and small.

We arrived but our room was damage d with recent rains, apparently a common problem, however we were transferred via taxi to a same chain hotel further out. We enjoyed roof top breakfast every morning, a clear view of the mountains and free access to the Botanical garden across the street,

Room freshener was over powering, room air was very close/ac non existant (they did turn on) and it was a greater distance from everything. We! Ended up using a taxi for the first in our whole trip because of the distance to the station for day trip to Pompeii and to return to Rome. Constant traffic noise, bring ear plugs.
