    the breakfast!!!!

faucet was very absurd, very difficult to handle because it is not an ordinary key, is a strange kind of button that you have to turn with the strength of your finger.

Very helpful and polite staff. Excellent furnishings and room finishing. Lots of nice, high quality touches in the room e.g. espresso machine, free minibar, Lush products. Decent quality breakfast ingredients. Perfect location!! Room cleaned immaculately and restored every day. The Royal Suite is just wonderful!! Real wow factor and very private. Highly recommend the hotel for a romantic trip to Rome!

The royal suite had it's own kitchen for staff to cook for you only and therefore had a few different staff coming each day - this meant that it was slightly inconsistent breakfast provision, eggs and bacon were cold and undercooked on one of the days. Would benefit from some consistent training across all the staff that service the Royal suite. Breakfast was 2 hours late one morning due to staff travel issues, this is where the royal suite, being in a seperate building/street, couldn't benefit from the main kitchen at the main hotel as we were waiting for someone to attend our kitchen. I'm certain though that this is the exception rather than the rule and must be very rare occurence. This is by no means a reason not to visit the hotel. It's wonderful!

Excellent hotel in a very good location in Rome - near the Spanish steps. The staff is very friendly and helpful !! We had requested the Lunar room and they for our special occasion. They had agreed to this upgrade and we got this exceptional room for a standard room price. The room was very clean , had new facilities , free mini-bar !!!! They serve the breakfast to the room and it was very good one. I highly recommend this hotel for a romantic vacation for couples.

NOTHING , it a perfect hotel for couples !!!

Modern style of interior design. Helpfulness of staff. Free minibar and Nespresso machine.

The taps were very hard to use. Room was a little on the small size. Lack of outdoor space.

The entire experience was amazing - if you are looking for a romantic, luxurious and different hotel, this is the one for you. Each room is different and ours was fantastic - huge comfy round bed, wonderful rainfall shower, jacuzzi bath. Our choice of breakfast served to the room each morning was wonderful, and a lovely start to our day. The contents of the mini bar are free, and restocked each day. The location is brilliant - a few minutes walk in any direction and you were at a well known landmark. The staff were so helpful and friendly - all of them. We were on a weekend away from our three small children and the hotel helped us to get back to "us, the couple" as opposed to "us, the Mammy and Daddy". Would highly recommend and when heading to Rome again, we will most definitely stay here! Grazie mille Suite Sistina!

A very minor issue, which we had been fully made aware of, but the fact that there was no lift, and we were on the fourth floor, was hard at times!

Suite Sistina is an absolute hidden gem in the heart of Rome. Its the perfect location to just walk out the (very subtle) door and get lost wandering the beautiful twisting vias and bustling piazzas of the eternal city. We stayed in the Tutta Tonda suite and the room was beautiful and located on the bottom floor so we only needed to climb one set of steps before falling into the room, which we were very thankful for after coming back exhausted from wandering the streets. The staff were wonderful and extremely nice throughout stay. The breakfast is served in your room at a time of your choosing, making every morning a private little VIP meal for two. The cleaning staff were also way above expectations and had the room looking like we had just arrived every single day. If that isn't enough to sell you even everything in the minibar is complementary! I really can not recommend suite Sistine enough. If you are looking for the most romantic break away seriously stay here you wont regret it. As for some general tips on Rome: -Book the Colosseum and Vatican museum tickets online and skip the queue without having to be stuck behind an awful overpriced tour guide. - A taxi from the airport is a fixed €48, However you can save some money and get some style points with Romeshuttlelimousine.com we got chauffeur driven to suite sistina for €40 in a pretty sweet E-class Mercedes. -Avoid the restaurants that look onto piazzas, while the food can look reasonably priced the drinks are not listed and are extortionately expensive with a coffee or soda being €6-7 -walk everywhere and don't be afraid to get lost! Its the only way to see and explore Rome.

Email communication was very poor and unfortunately there was no response at all to any of my initial inquires. However on arrival the staff were wonderful and extremely helpful throughout our stay.

Suite Sistina is a stunning boutique hotel in an amazing location 2 mins from the Spanish Steps. From the outset the hotel is discreet right down to the entrance with beautiful features in the room. We could not speak highly enough of the hotel and Danielle after getting upgraded to the presidential suite on arrival which was stunning and a lovely suprise. It really is a private location with all guests enjoying breakfast in the rooms so it feels really relaxed and private. The staff could not be more helpful and friendly with suggestions and breakfast service. After getting engaged in Rome on this trip it really was the most amazing visit amplified by an amazing hotel!

The rooms are well designed and nice. our bed was so big and round it was unique. the staff were super friendly, helpful, caring and very nice always. the breakfast is served in the room daily and you choose what you want and it is really good!

the taps to turn on the sink water and bath are a bit complicated and over technologised. it is not practical. it took us about 2 hours to know how to turn the water on and how to change the temperature which was really annoying. the hotel does not have an elevator and it gets a bit tiring going up and down the stairs as i was also pregnant. We asked for a room on the first floor but there wasnt any available so we wanted to leave after one night but they did not allow us and said the full amount of 4 nights would be charged. although we enjoyed our stay in the hotel , i found it unfriendly that they didnt consider my pregnancy important enough to make an exception and allow us to leave with no charges.
