Sul Molo

The location of this b&b is good to explore Catania and other cities around Catania. It's only 5-10 minutes walk from train station and also from various bus terminals. You can also reach to Catania's Piazza Duomo where the centre of interesting sights of the city within 10-15 minutes walk. Staffs of reception is very kind although staff was changed every time. Room facility is value-for-money, and clean. The room even has small balcony. Breakfast room was closed all time, and the bar under b&b provide breakfast. Wi-fi in the room is free of charge and signal/speed is quite good. You can catch the bus to the Catania airport 1 minute walk from Sul Molo and it costs 1 eur.

It's reception is not 24hours open, so you must ask staffs reception- opening hours in advance.

Location is quite good and easy to find. Close to Center. Railway station and bus station near. Autostrade and airport is easy to get. Some of the guys on reception are realy nice.

The price is too big for this type of room. Small, strange smell, tiny bathroom, no balcony in some of rooms. Noisy. Walls are really thin - you can here EVERYTHING from outside and inside the hotel and all can hear you.

Very close to the train station and a bus to the airport (457) leaves from a stop in 300m walking distance as well. The guy who keeps the whole place running is very friendly and tries to help as much as possible. Wifi works fine in the rooms, at least the first day.

The place has not been refurnished or renovated for ages (my guess: since the opening in the 50s), though it does not seem dirty, many things are broken (air condition, lamp holder, curtains, ....) and you feel stuff like matress, windows or curtains has not been cleaned for ages. The traffic can keep you awake the night over. The breakfast offers nothing fresh, but these packaged snacks - the whole breakfast area is not inviting.

The location was perfect as I was connecting to a cruise ship ten mins walk away, fifteen mins from airport price 25 euros but worth the money as it was a late flight and I was a solo traveller, please note reception is on first floor,for a bed and breakfast first rate nice comfy bedroom ,aircon good,fridge with complementary water,clean bathroom and towels[white fuffy],great view from balcony staff nice and friendly and helpfull ,good choice of items for breakfast great experience all round.

The staff were friendly and the location was great. At first the place looks dingy on the outside but once inside the main foyer is pleasant. It was close to the main train station and a short 10 minute walk to the centre of town. At times it did get a bit noisy but that was excpected due to being on a main road. The place can be hard to find at first because the the name has poor visibility. Overall, I would recomend this place based on price and location.

katastrophe: obwohl 24 h receptionsservice,obwohl wir stunde unseres ankommens e-mailten, mussten wir 2 h warten bis aufgeschlossen wurde. so geht man nicht mit gästen um.

Kiváló helyen van, kilátás a tengerre, a személyzet rugalmas, barátságos, ingyenes parkolás a környéken megoldható.

Egy kicsit zajos helyen van, bár az ablakok, erkélyajtók jól hangszigeteltek.

il bagno, i sanitari, il rumore che veniva dallo sciacquone.

Ottima la posizione centrale che permette di raggiungere tutti i posti di maggiore interesse in pochi minuti. La camera era anche più insonorizzata di quanto potessimo aspettarci.

Lenzuola pulite, ma coperte vecchie e logore.

luminoso, insonorizzato, vista porto, centralissimo (inizio via Vittorio Emanuele ii ed in prossimità della stazione ferroviaria e degli autobus), buon rapporto qualita'/prezzo

La chiave della camera non è una Yale.

Mi è piaciuto molto l'accoglienza e il posto com'e arredato!!

I bagni sono da ristrutturare troppo vecchi

Prima kamer en uitstekende locatie.

Het ontbijt, we kregen een kaartje waarmee we naar een cafeetje onder het pension konden gaan.Daar kregen we dan 1 vettig broodje en 1 kopje koffie. Het zal er wel aan liggen dat het geen hoogseizoen was.

Sehr guter Service durch die Mitarbeiter. Freundlich und hilfsbereit beim Liefern von touristischen Informationen. Stadtplan inklusive. Der Bahnhof, sowie der Busbahnhof sind zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Ebenso wie das Stadtzentrum, welches mit wunderschönen antiken Gebäuden und netten Restaurants zum Verweilen einlädt. Wer einen Ausflug zum Ätna plant, kein Problem. Das Hotel Sul Molo organisiert, daß sie direkt vom Hotel abgeholt und im Anschluß wieder zurück gebracht werden.

Dadurch, daß es unmittelbar am Hagen und somit auch an der Hauptstraße liegt, ist es sehr laut.

non mi sono piaciute molte cose: c'era cattivo odore sia nella hall che nella camera, in camera una delle due serrande era rotta, così come il box doccia.

Es una especie de apart hotel, donde pagas por adelantado y te dan la llave para funcionar en forma autónoma. De hecho cuando me fui no había nadie en la recepción. Está muy cerca del terminal de buses y trenes. En la zona es la única ciudad que tiene aeropuerto, por lo que elegí dormir una noche ahí.

En la noche es un barrio solitario.

Spokojenost.Přespali jsme jen jednu noc a jeli dále - dostačující. Vstřícný personál. Výborné místo blízko vlako a autobusového nádraží.

Klimatizace. Foukala přímo na člověka ležícího na posleli.

Posizione ideale per visitare il centro della città. Facile da raggiungere dall'aereoporto. Comodo per spostamenti fuori città. Cortesia, simpatia e disponibilità dei ragazzi che ci lavorano.

Sehr hilfsbereiter und freundlicher Mitarbeiter, der für mich telefoniert und eine Ausflugsfahrt organisiert hat. Günstige Lage nahe beim Hauptbahnhof - gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Accoglienza e disponibilità personale.

Bagni, alcune strutture e pulizia sufficiente.

La posizione e la facilità nel trovare parcheggio. Internet funziona bene ed è pulito.

Non può considerarsi un hotel. Piuttosto un bed & breakfast e il prezzo dovrebbe essere ridimensionato. La prima colazione è costituita da merendine preconfezionate.

Jó elhelyezkedés és ár-érték arány, barátságos személyzet.

Pici fürdőszoba és nem túl változatos reggeli.

E' un b&b al primo piano di un palazzo vicino alla stazione, al porto e a pochi passi dal centro. Pulito e le camere sono abbastanza ampie.

Per essere un b&b ha dei costi un pò elevati e la colazione a buffet non può dirsi tale.
