Tamara's Suites

Frederico was extremely helpful and friendly. Trastevere was a fantastic area, really beautiful, lots of lovely restaurants and far cheaper than other parts of Rome! Took about 10 mins to walk to the river and from there, 15 mins to the Colloseum and 20 to the Vatican.

Attractive room in great location in Rome. Located on a piazza with fresh food market and wonderful resturants and bars, especially for gluten free dinners.

Bathroom small, cramped shower. Would prefer fresh croissants for breakfast.

The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was served in the room on the requested time. The triple room, overlooking the local open market, was spacious and well heated, with a small cozy bathroom, hot water all day. The location is perfect, on the edge of the Trastevere area that accommodates all bars and restaurants, offering immediate access and noise avoidance. City center is in walking distance, about 20 minutes. For longer destinations you can ask for a taxi, even one for more than 4 persons.

Tamara's suites b/b is an excellent place to stay. All equipment (central heating, shower/hot water, fast WiFi-Internet access) are really working well, every day you get clean white towels in three different sizes, the breakfast is good (Cappuccino, cornetto with butter and marmalade, Yoghurt, Juice et al.) and sufficient in the morning. - The location of tamara's suites is ideal, as Trastevere is the most typical quarter of Rome. You can walk in a few minutes to Campo dè Fiori, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, but also to the Capitol, Piazza Venezia or Colosseum. - And, last but not least: the owners, the two brothers Federico and Valerio, are very kind and helpful persons, nice people ! I know Rome well, as I grew up there in my childhood and youth, so I can recommend tamara's suites for 100%. There will be hardly to find a better place.

Everything about Tamara's suites was exceptional. The staff, the location and the rooms! The apartment made our stay in Rome outstanding. We will return home to Australia to recommend Tamara's suites to all our family and friends. We hope to stay there again soon.

Room was a bit small. It was perfectly clean and well decorated. The bed was of good quality and size but there was only a couple of feet between the bed and the wall of the bathroom and this had to be passed to get from the door to the rest of the room. Other facilities in the room were good. TV, table, chairs, dressing table and one of those thinghies to put your suitcase on. I think it might have been nice to perhaps sacrifice the suitcase thinghy and instead put in a nice comfy armchair to relax in.

Ho trovato un'accoglienza veramente squisita con disponibilità a fornire informazioni sulla base delle mie esigenze. Lo staff è veramente solare e simpatico. La pulizia della stanza era ottima. Il quartiere è bellissimo, con un sacco di ristoranti dove poter cenare a due passi dal B&B.

Excelent location in Trastevere, rooms Tamara and Klimt have windows directly on Piazza di San Cosimato - that is where there is a fruit and vegetables market every morning... you can really feel local atmosphere. This is the part of the city, where locals really go out, chat on the street, ROMANTIC!!! Tamara Suites are in an apartment building, there is several rooms to choose from, and are serviced directly by onwers... Small, cosy, charming. Breakfast is served in your room... with fresh cappucino! One can easily walk to centre or take tram or bus for several stops, we eventually learnt to take metro to distant sights :-) (too much walking in just 4 days :-) ). We were given 1 page picture map at the reception, and this was ok, for all the sites... And three tips for public transport was all we needed for the whole stay (tram 8 to centre, bus 3 to get closer to colloseum, and bus 125 to make it to Vatican...). Also, this has good connection to Fiumicino airport, there is a train directly from airport to Trastevere station, from there it is only three stops by tram... Definitely choose this, if you want to experience local Roman life...

Nothing - more than we expected. I actually seriously think about sending my mother-in-law there, for next year, to earn some plus points...:-)

very kind and helpful employees, nice rooms perfectly located in Trastevere and at walking distance from most top interest points of Rome. Somehow a bit noisy in the summer evenings when everybody is on the street, but then just enjoy the roman °Dolce vita°....Mostly recommendable.

I liked it all. Good location, nice staff, breakfast in the room. Very nice neigbourhood, and house. I am just sorry I misunderstood about how to use the sheets in the bed. Very different from Norway. My fault.

Das B&B ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten Roms sind gut zu Fuss erreichbar, der Romapass ist also nicht unbedingt notwendig, das Geld kann gespart werden. Wir waren im Monet-Zimmer einquartiert, geht auf eine relativ ruhige Seitenstrasse, seitlich sieht man auf den Marktplatz. Federico ist sehr nett und hat uns ein sehr gutes Restaurant empfohlen, wo man günstig sehr feine Pasta essen kann. Trastevere ist ein sehr authentisches Viertel mit vielen hübschen kleinen Trattorien und Restaurants, die Preise viel günstiger als im historischen Zentrum und das Essen viel besser. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder in dieses B&B gehen.

Auf der Homepage des Tamara's Suites steht, dass man ab Bahnhof Trastevere mit dem Tram Nr. 8 bei der 3. Haltestelle aussteigen muss, es ist aber die 5. Haltestelle. Sehr schlecht sind die verpackten Gipfel beim Frühstück, die könnten sehr gut frisch besorgt werden. Den Touristenbus Linie 110 empfehlen wir gar nicht, der Fahrer rast durch die Stadt und man hat gar nichts davon, weil man sich einfach nur festhalten muss.

Geweldige ligging in Trastevere. Om de hoek beginnen de terrasjes en winkeltjes. Veilige buurt om 's avonds rond te lopen (als moeder en jonge dochter). Ca. 10 minuten lopen en je zit midden in het historische centrum van Rome. Zeer behulpzaam. Kamer verder ok. Beperkte bezetting van receptie (alleen 's ochtends even), op zich geen punt maar dat je het maar even weet. Vaticaanstad is ca. 1/2 uurtje lopen.

Je moet niet te dik zijn, anders pas je niet tussen de schuifdeuren van de douche. Er was géén flatscreen maar een minitv met nagenoeg alleen Italiaanse zenders.

+ Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites personal + wunderschöne Zimmer + ausgesprochen sauber + das Hotel liegt in einem wunderschönen niedlichen römer Altbau + Frühstück am Zimmer + Der beste Kaffee in ganz Rom!!! + wunderbar schnelles gratus wifi + gute Lage im schönen Trastevere

- Etwas laut, weil einerseits der Markt direkt vor der Tür ist und andererseits die Zimmer viel Lautstärke durchlassen - "wandernde" Matratzen beim Bett - Mini-Tv, aber wer braucht schon Fernseher auf Urlaub

O quarto que me hospedei era muito pequeno.

La posizione strategica, la colazione in camera, la pulizia, l'idea di chiamare ed arredare ogni camera richiamando un pittore: klimt, van gogh, tamara de lempicka...

Ce n'est pas un hôtel mais un appartement composé de chambres. Un gite sans repas en quelques sortes Le petit déjeuner très bas de gamme

La ubicación y el confort. Personal muy amable y atento.

La posizione e l'accuratezza dell'arredamento.

La colazione un po' spartana. Un croissant fresco, un frutto e qualche biscotto non avrebbero guastato.

Les bons restau autour à faire à pied, le quartier vivant et safe. L'espace dans la chambre, et le petit dèj qui n'est pas si désastreux... Et qui a le mérite d'être pris dans la chambre. L'accueil à notre arrivé avec une réservation en direct pour la villa borghese.

L'insonorisation inexistante, la rue est dans la chambre, c'est pénible, les italiens ne semblent pas connaitre les doubles vitrages, c'est notre 2 eme séjour à rome et c'était le cas déjà.
