Fantastic! Lake view, lovely meals and hard-working staff!!
The family that own's the hotel. The food in there restorante. The breakfast is good with home-made yugert and cheese. The mother is the chef, she is unbeleaveable.
The family Hospitality ( Family Management ) was the most amazing
All was perfect
The road to the hotel, although tricky, is a lot of fun! The owners try to do their best to make you feel at home.
The location is a little far from the town. Wi-fi does not work in the rooms.
We visited first time to celebrate our friend's birthday. Beforehand, we had informed to them, so they welcomed to all of us with very nice hospitality. In addition, location is very nice. If you love the nice view and local mood, visit here and be relax.
Panorama gained from being 600m above sea level Restaurant and breakfast Intimacy of the location City escape felt world's away
Hotel- no minifridge (not ideal in the summer) Location: no specific trail for trekking on foot. Just main road
Up in the mountain. Gorgeous overlook of the lake. Incredibly friendly staff. Dinner was delicious.
The wifi doesn't make it to some of the rooms. I ended up being ok with this, though, because it forced me to disconnect.
A wonderful place, located on a hill near the lake Como. Quite the place, quiet the lake, at least seen from the hill. And an admirable active family, taking care of everything and working all the day on its property.
Great breakfasts (not normal in Italy), great position with wonderful views, very friendly staff, lovely, semi-derelict but very picturesque village, great hiking possibilities.
Obviously a tortuous drive up, but nothing out of the ordinary (though you do have to watch out for locals hurtling down with one hand on the steering wheel, the other on the mobile!). Tamola's restaurant is OK but for a wider choice you need to drive down .....
+The location +The view +The restaurant +The breakfast
The drive up the mountains was nerve wrecking. But once there, the view was worth the effort. Although the lady could not speak english, she made us feel very welcome. Very clean rooms. Breakfast was good and generous. We had an enjoyable dinner at the attached restaurant.
Magnificent view from the balcony. Room simple but neat and quite spacious. Friendly staff/owner. Tough way up the hill, but lot of fun and totally worth it.
A rather hair-raising ride up the mountain but well worth it. The view was superb. The restaurant and the hospitality were excellent and the lady of the house so friendly and obliging even though her English was limited. However the young "waiter" spoke excellent English and was a credit to the hotel.
Quite a few steps to the rooms
Interesting road up the mountain, great views, great restaurant.
Great staff, wonderful village, views, food, location.
The location is simply great, the food at the hotel's restaurant is amazing and the breakfast was wonderful and rich. The staff were great and all at such a great price!
-the location -the view! -the friendly and helpfull staff -a very good breakfast -spotless and spacefull rooms
A complimentary drink when we arrived after a long drive from France - set the seal for our short stay. The staff (family) were all very friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts had to be seen to be believed. We didn't know when things would stop coming to the table! The food in the restaurant was also delicious. A memorable stay.
We were disappointed with the size of our balcony (for which we had paid extra) as it wasn't big enough to sit and enjoy the fantastic view especially as there was screening over the railings to provide privacy. I was also glad that my husband was driving as I don't think I could have coped with the 12 hairpin bends and numerous blind corners (we had been warned so this didn't put us off). And we always managed to find somewhere to park, although it could be hit and miss if you were late back!
