Front desk Staff, Fabio and Dimitri, were very professional and helpful for us in a new city. The best Gelato was two doors away. Room in the back was very quiet.Overall, a good value for a place to sleep.
Not near any major attractions. Public areas are very no frills. European style breakfast OK but machine coffee not the best. No English on TV. Wi Fi in the room was not functional. Shower stall was unbelievably small.
The rooms were very nice and clean. Decent location to main train station (but I thought it was a tad bit closer). For the price it is a nice place.
The "breakfast" if you want to call is that was BREAD BREAD BREAD! Seriously, bread and jams/spreads. I was very disappointed in that. No A/C in the breakfast area made it uncomfortable especially the morning of the construction going on across the street. Be sure you read the fine print about A/C not included in the price. It was only 5 Euros more, but still, my mistake on that.
The morning receptionist was sarcastic and less than accommodating. It does not say anywhere that there is no elevator. Breakfast (influded) had only bread and butter (no fruit, no cold cuts, no eggs, nothing). The air conditioning costs €5 extra. And although it says they have wifi available on common areas, There is a sign that reads: "to our valued customers, we want to inform that the 'service of wifi' is activate for the whole structure of the hotel and is cost €1 per day". So, no wifi anywhere unless you pay. You need to leve your key, and if you don't the manager goes inside your room without your permission to grab it.
Outstanding value. We had a large, clean, quiet room with a small balcony.
For the price, nothing.
Good relation price-quality.
Wi-fi doesn't exist! You pay but rarely function.
Clean, updated room. Basic breakfast of breads and coffee. Outstanding gelato place right down the street.
Location is a walk to attractions and I would not feel safe walking there at night alone.
Very friendly & helpful staff. Good location
Small shower & bathroom
Staff and cleanliness
Wifi services were very poor in our side of the hotel. Need to highly improve that.
The hotel was fantastic staff were very helpful and location excellent
-English skill of the staff was good. - the reception staff were really helpful. - bathroom was clean. - cleaning every day. - close to most of the historical places..
- no wireless in the room, -breakfast poor
Room was quite big and comfortable. I was asked if I need internet connection and accordingly was allotted the room with good wifi reception. Breakfast was good too. Staff were helpful and spoke English.
Location. Value for Money. Friendly and helpful staff
Shower goes from Hot to Cold on its own.
Kind people, english speakers,24/24 h reception open, fast answer to the requirements, flexible;clean room, good heating, complete staff in the bathrooh ! Good location near underground station, easy acces to the turistic sites !
Location looks quite unsafe during the night
Generally staff is very helpful. Wi-fi is good.
The hotel was convenient for public transport. It has been refurbished recently and was clean with pleasant furnishings and good bathrooms. The staff were very helpful and friendly with good local knowledge about locations of places of interest and restaurants etc. The staff booked return transport for us to the airport which was very efficient and at a very reasonable price. The hotel is ideal for a city break and good value for money.
The only down side (which is beyond the control of the hotel) is, depending on the location of the room, the traffic noise.
this was an excellent hotel .the location is good being only ten minutes walk from the main railway station and a few more minutes to the main sites .the room was clean and comfortable breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful .this hotel had 24 hour reception in the main building and I always felt safe in the area .
I have never seen such service, such équipements in a two star hotel. The hotel was indeed EXCELLENT.
The surroundings. Santa Maria Maggiore is not very far, but unfortunately the neighborhood was quite a china town, and if you went just one block away, you'd find dirty streets, and you'd think yourself to be in Pakistan.
The hotel is in a central position, very close to the main station, which means the tupical sightseeing spots are easily accessible on foot or by underground.
The area around the hotel is full of emigrants and homeless people sleeping on the street. Seems to be not a safe place to walk around in tge evening. The area is quite dirty as well.
