The hotel was very comfortable, and the location great. We liked that we were away from the town center yet within walking distance to it. The views are fantastic. The owner is friendly and helpful. It is difficult to locate, but once you do it is well worth it. |

Presentation, facilities, comfort and location all very acceptable making Tavernier a very good stopover hotel between France and Italy.Your website shows 8.1 from 56 reviews - I believe this understates the attractiveness of the facility. |

The professional staff. The special things of this hotel: the river, the pool and jacuzi, the style of the building. It was difficault to approach it by car. I'd suggest visitors not to get with the car to the entrance door but rather take the luggages by hand and then take the car to the hotel's parking garage, 5 minutes from there. Secondly, there were annoying moskitos flying around. I'd suggest the hotel to install nets on windows and doors for the summer time. |

Staff welcome and friendliness, flexibility about half board option, opportunity to socialise with other guests in very pleasant rustic style bar, in dining room and in the two spa pools. |

We liked the large pleasant room. Staff was very helpful when we complained about the noise of the river and found another quieter room for us. |

The Hotel staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and provided superb service throughout our stay. Proximity to the funivia was within 200m and was an easy walk. Proximity to the town center is within 10 minutes and again an easy walk. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Ski boot room/ski store was not secure and simply just located in the corner of the open garage area. No heating facility for ski boots to dry out. The height of the garage would prevent SUV's or cars with roof boxes from entering. Although free parking was located only 100m away. |

Not alot. When we arrived it was empty. We were then given the worst room in the hotel and one of the worst rooms I have stayed in for many many years. And we travel alot! I had to complain that I was locked into the bathroom twice. Then we were shown the real rooms and were moved in the next day. Why do hotels do this? What do they possibly hope to gain by this? Obviously there was not alot to like. The place was hopelessly dated, the breakfast incredibly unimaginable - does anyone over the age of 20 eat Cornflakes? Croissants inedible and coffee just ghastly. Well, it was close to the ski lift, and the receptionists did speak English. |

Tavernier Hotel is easily the most comfortable and friendly hotel I've stayed in Courmayeur. The staff were extremely helpful with logistics and with restaurant bookings in the town. The location is perfect for the Dolonne gondola to the slopes and is a short walk into the town. Highly recommended. |
