The location is excellent and the rooms comfortable and clean.

Nice hotel, my room was comfortable and clean, a bit dark but ok. Breakfast was fantastic and they served it to the room :)

breakfast delivered to your room convenient location - within walking distance of everywhere one male member of staff was particularly helpful and friendly they carry your bags up the stairs as there is no lift!

timing of breakfast is a little random (one day it was about 30 mins after the time requested, but most days 10-15 mins late) housekeeping is a bit poor - some days we had a spare toilet roll and soap, others not; after using bathroom plastic glasses on day 1 they were taken away and never replaced, the tea/coffee was never replenished and the sticky side table remained sticky until I wiped it on day 4 and it took 3 days for them to change a lightbulb!!

Very kind staff, room with nice wooden furniture, nicely decorated, very clean. No elevator, but the beautiful spiral staircase is a great compensation for the "pain" of walking up and down ... Good breakfast served in room (no restaurant in house).Great location in the heart of the old city (a few steps from Piazza Navona), most places in a 30 minutes walking distance (E.G. Vatican, Capitol).

No wlan in the room

Location was superb. Very central for all of the sites. Just off the beautiful Piazza Navona which had a great atmosphere and lovely bars and restaurants. Staff were very helpful arranging taxis and assisting with trips.

There is no lift so make sure if you're older that you can manage 2-3 flights of stairs with your luggage.

We like the room as it is, with the high wood seeling, and night staf was very frendly, nice view from the balcony: Next time perhaps penthouse with the view.

The misunderstood conserning the breakfast,- missing something everyday,-

Design, layout, furnishings, location, and helpful staff.

Good central location (although now there are two restaurants on the ground floor of the building) and the ancient central staircase is very pleasing. Our rooms were also fairly large and comfortable, and the second room in which we stayed had lovely high beamed ceilings.

The first room we were given, where we had to stay one night because the hotel was full, had a very unpleasant odour, and the WiFi did not work in the rooms. Fixtures were also a bit worn and depressed looking, so the overall aspect of the first room was not especially pleasant. We were moved on our second night to a nicer room and this was more uplifting. Breakfast on plastic trays was not especially good quality.

The location was ideal, we had the top room with a balcony which was lovely as it caught the late afternoon sun. Staff very helpful, just a great place for a city stay.

I dont sleep well so when I was awake at night there was nowhere to go to read without disturbing my husband. No English news on the television. CNN station was hit and miss.

The room was perfect-breakfast was served every morning. Everybody on staff went out of their way to help us with our reservations for dinner and directions. The hotel exceeded our expectations in every regard!

Loved the central location - ideal for all the wonderful sights and restaurants. Night staff was excellent he arranged taxi for us to airport. Very good.

Very small dark room. Bathroom dark and shower minute! If you were a larger person you would have had great difficulty. Breakfast was served in the room and often was lacking basic things like spoons, knives, milk, napkins, mugs. They give you two plastic beakers when you arrive but when you have used them they never replace. Only one chair and nowhere to put breakfast tray so you balance plate on your knees or in your bed. Not good, especially with croissants! Staff varied - day time staff were not helpful said they could not arrange taxi to airport for us. Everything was too much bother.

Great location for sight seeing and restaurants, a very special building with the distinctive design, excellent staff.

The absence of an elevator is OK if you are on the 2nd floor, but it becomes a challenge when you have a room on the 4th floor and are past 40

The hotel itself is situated in an ideal location, right in the heart of the 'centro storico'. My room was lovely, much better than I had expected...spacious, simply but elegantly furnished. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was also a varied selection to choose from for breakfast. The maid, Valentina, was particularly endearing, especially when she curtseyed after delivering breakfast to the room. I thought is was a nice touch.

Only a couple of minor things...the tv in my room didn't work properly, more iratating than anything else, and my room was rather dark in the evenings due to a couple of the lights not working, but it didn't spoil my overall enjoyment of my stay.

I loved the location - right off of Piazza Navona down a little alleyway. It was a cool little place with this beautiful stone spiral staircase. The staff was very helpful in making reservations for us at the Borghese Gallery and calling a cab for us on our final day.

Probably because of the stone walls, the wi-fi was spotty. The only place we could access it was on the stairwell. Everyone would just camp out on the stairwell checking their emails, etc. Also it was a little tricky rolling your suitcases down the alley way because of the cobblestones - but then again, we could've taken a cab directly there instead of walking from the bus stop!

Breakfast arrangements were not as advertised and disorganised, its provision on trays in the bedrooms without sufficient chairs or a suitable table was shambolic.

I loved everything about this hotel, the building the location, breakfast in bed! The staff were lovely especially Rabih who worked the nightshift, would definately return.

Location was excellent-- right near the Piazza Navono and in the heart of a quaint eating and shopping neighborhood. Walkable from the Coloseum, the Vatican, and other attractions, but far enough removed that there's way less tourists. Also, it's a beautiful hotel, with great rooms, down a narrow street.

They weren't much help when I wanted to send a very important and time-sensative package; all they had to do was hold it for the delivery company to pick up, and they wouldn't. It was a letter, btw, with nothing of value inside.
