Location was superb. With such easy access to so many wonderful sights and restaurants. The decor in the rooms was also lovely, we enjoyed the comforts and the balcony. Also the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, happy to recommend places to eat, drink and explore. We would certainly return.
It's such a shame that there's no hot breakfast options. We stayed for 5 days and while we ordered coffee and tea, yogurts and croissants everyday, toast or eggs would have been great.
Great location and the night staff member ribani was excellent
The stairs if you were on the upper levels
Perfect location, great price, always professional staff, and breakfast delivered to your door. The best place to stay near Piazza Navona.
For those with big bags or mobility problems there are beautiful winding stone stairs taking you up to your room.
Heard everything! If you like the sound of snoring and other nocturnal sounds...this is the place for you. Oh, and by the way, don't fall off your 6 x 3 bed. Hope your cardio is good, 5 floors, no elevator...enough said. One more thing, free breakfast isn't as tasty when the staff have to take the stairs too. Draw your own conclusions.
Location, beautiful staircase, private breakfast
Position. Character building
Hand held shower in bath
Staff are extremely friendly and will give you great Rome advice, you can print a couple sheets of paper for free, the A/C is incredible, beds very comfy, bathroom very clean, breakfast is incredible (take advantage of it), great location in Rome.
I wish I could have stayed longer.
Included breakfast had a good variety and was right in time.
You have to be fit to climb the steep stairs.
The location was wonderful. The architecture of the hotel was very special. The room was comfortable and quaintly furnished.
Staff was not that helpful or friendly.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and well-informed about their guests and their needs. This made the entire experience worthwhile. The location was also perfect. Breakfast in bed was nice so you could eat at leisure, but the social aspect of being a solo traveller was completely lost. You really do not encounter the other guests.
The bed could have been more comfortable. Both the mattress and the blankets/pillows were not so great. The floors were kind of dusty, and had to ask them to clean specifically. However, they did oblige very kindly and promptly to all requests. If you are a light sleeper, you will be woken by movements outside the door on the floor, or above you; the sound really travels!
This is the 4th or 5th time I have stayed here, and I discover new areas to explore each time. Piazza Navona and many different restaurants are within walking distance. Breakfast in my room was delivered on time and there was plenty of choice. The staff were helpful and spoke very good English
The fact I couldn't be there longer!
Location Good beds Ok size room Nice staff
Everything about this hotel is great. Well located, attentive staff, nice ambiance.,
Had a great stay, staff were friendly and helpful. Location was amazing and defiantly the nicest part of Rome to stay. I will return with my children :)
My friend came to meet me one afternoon and was not allowed up to the room, maybe this is normal in Rome? I was told if I had a double room it was ok?? I felt like I had to justify that somebody was just a friend and we were not doing anything else.. Strange situation I wasn't asking for somebody to stay the night? Just 5 minutes.
The location is absolutely amazing. The hotel can be a little difficult to find at first, but that's the charm of Rome. It's a few minute walk to Piazza Navona, and not far from all the major sites. There is also a bus stop close to the hotel which is very helpful. The main staircase is beautiful, the room is nice with an updated private bath and AC. Breakfast is brought to your room upon request and it's wonderful, especially the coffee. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The only thing I didn't really like was the bed, it was a little uncomfortable, but after long days walking around Rome, it doesn't really matter.
Perfect hotel for a single traveller. Room 208 has it's own roomy patio which was very nice
Location!!!! So close to restaurants and the social heart of Rome. Easy access to transport options, and walking distance of Piazza Navona, Pantheon and even Vatican City. We had a room with a balcony that allowed us to sit outside and have a drink or eat our breakfast. Wifi connection was great, loved having breakfast delivered to our room, bed was comfortable, loved our stay!
Only negative was coffee cups weren't cleaned (but easily washed up by us!) and tea/coffee supplies weren't replenished.
The location is very central in Rome and the Pieza (Plaza) Navona is very vibrant and exciting, especially in the evening. Lots of winding streets filled with people wandering, dining, etc. Many restaurants in walking distance. If you are in decent shape, no need for much public transportation due to location. We walked just about everywhere.
It's charming, but there is quite a staircase to climb to get to the rooms (no elevator) We did fine, but also enjoyed the challenge. We, in fact, loved the spiral staircase and we were on the top floor! But....If you need a cane, or have issues with stairs, look elsewhere.
Great location. Comfortable room.
Room was small. In the past we have had larger rooms at this hotel.
Extremely helpful and courteous staff. Excellent English and knowledgable re Rome and tourist attractions. Location was ideal.
Continental breakfast served only in the room had very limited choices.
Location was wonderful, I was able to walk everywhere including most of major tourist attractions. Lovely old building, staff very helpful, breakfast was very nice, delivered to my room exactly at the time I ordered it. Great value for money _ I moved to big conferece hotel immediately after my stay here & Teatro Pace was way ahead on quality of accommodation, breakfast & value for money. Choice of little shops & good value restaurants outside hotel door & nearby. The Air conditioning in Teatro Pace worked better too - you can adjust it & switch it on or off yourself. Will go back .
I was happy with everything. However, no lift so might be more difficult if you had room on top floors. I had room on first floor at back of hotel so it was quiet, room at front might not be so quiet.
reception desk manned 24 hours and were most helpful The room was roomy with a balcony which we shared with a baby seagull ( huge)
No lift however staff were happy to carry luggage up the 4 floors. (we did ask for a view)
Location great Helpful Staff Breakfast
cost of Taxi to get to Hotel shower too small
Nearly everything was perfect.
Stayed in two rooms. One was a little dark and there was some noise from guests on the floor above.
