|With a large panoramic terrace overlooking the Gulf of Naples, Ischia Paradise Corner is on the beautiful Ischia Island. It features an outdoor dining area, BBQ facilities and free WiFi.|
Great staff, wonderfully peaceful, and chilled. 3 great restaurants near by.
The peace and quiet of the hotel. The pool and jaccuzi. Services of Roman and staff. Proximity of good restaraunts. Excellent breakfast and views particularly the sunsets.
A former country estate, family-run and tastefully renovated. Personal shuttle service within a 5-8km radius and very courteous staff. The westward views are priceless at the end of the day.
Room (deluxe suite with sea view)
- not within walking distance to the sea - miscommunication issues (better to check twice what was agreed) - poor breakfast
stunning panoramic views, beautiful and peaceful pool area
nothing - everything was perfect
We enjoyed our time here very much! Everything was superb! Want to come back for a longer stay!! Thank you for making our vacation so special!!
This place was fantastic...not only the beautiful location which was quiet but picturesque, but also the staff. Antonio, his 2 sons, and all the other staff did everything and more to ensure our stay was a happy and memorable one! Thanks so much and can't wait to visit again in the future!
Fabulous views Lovely pool and patio areas
Accommodation was excellent, with views out to the pool and sea beyond. Had it's own outside dining area and sun loungers. Staff went out of their way to help with booking taxi's, restaurants, offering trip advice etc. Had the pool and Jacuzzi to ourselves most of the time. Free shuttle service to Forio and anywhere within reason by hotel.
It was a 40 minute walk to/from Forio with a steep climb back up to the hotel. A taxi would cost 20 euros from Forio, so this soon added up. Although the hotel offered a free shuttle service, this did not operate from 4pm until 7 pm and after 10pm. The roads were also narrow and single lane most of the time up to the hotel, so the thought of hiring a car was frightening.
Stylish modern decor, stunning location, great restaurants in walking distance, great staff, free shuttle service
If you did get a taxi anywhere it was about 20 euros each way
Staff was amazing. They really went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Room was very nice. Grounds were beautiful.
Hotel is not close to much. Location is nice if you have a car or moped and are an excellent driver. (Roads to hotel are incredibly steep and incredibly narrow meaning that when cars meet going opposite directions, one car often needs to back up to allow the other to pass.) The hotel offers a shuttle but this leaves you at the mercy of waiting for drop off and pickup. For Ischia in general, I would recommend a moped or car. Bikes are almost impossible with the steepness of the roads. Taxis are very expensive. The bus is a decent option but it is a very healthy walk to nearest bus and you are at the mercy of the bus.
Amazing place for view, calm and people! Super locale food 5 min walking.
Scooter or car needed!
One of the best places we stayed at travelling across Italy for a month. Interior is very beautiful and comfortable - rooms are very tastefully furnished and decorated, new high quality facilities. But for us the highlight of tenuta del poggio was its wonderful garden with home grown lemons, strawberry and vegetables AND great sea views as well! Very relaxing home-like atmosphere that can only be found in small family-run hotels. The owner was very welcoming and kindly attended to all our questions / requests. We usually prefer to try new places, but when next time on Ischia will definitely stay there again. There is just nothing else to wish for. Many thanks to Antonio and his family - great job!
A great place to enjoy the italian fair a little bit away from all the stressfull suroundings of a city. Just perfect!
Everything was wonderful. I have a 2 1/2 year old, and they had a Jacuzzi which was the perfect size and temperature for her to play in since it was too chilly for the pool.
They didn't have a restaurant for dinner, but there were wonderful restaurants within walking distance (specifically Montecorvo) that it didn't matter much. Would have just been a bonus to have one onsite.
Wonderful family staff, perfect location, couldn't ask for more.
Owner and family were great - so was the view!
- Very nice and helpful staff! - Sublime breakfast with local products - Great ocean view from the room - Relaxing jacuzzi I traveled a lot, but this hotel is without a doubt the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Especially in low-season the island is not that crowded and you get a lot of value for your money! It is recommended to hire a rental car so you can see the whole island.
Incredible hotel, beautiful decoration, great helpful and friendly staff. We will return.
Lovely room with sitting room and kitchenette with patio of our own. Pretty location. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Great view
Shower not v good. Piddly. No cups etc in kitchen or basic teabags coffee fridge didn't work No promised daily bowl of fruit Tv had only middleeastern news channels. Absolutely hopeless to try and watch either. The news or a film.
Everything was perfect: A large, cosy and well-furnished room, high quality bed, linen and toiletries, nice and helpful staff.
The location is great if you have a car. If you don't plan to drive, you may find yourself very isolated, though the staff will do everything they can to help and support you.
Our favourite spot. Ischia is a stunning island but this acommodation made the time there perfect. We hired a scooter which was a great way to see the island. I just wish we'd spent more time here and less in Sorrento.
We have chosen this hotel for our honeymoon in August 2013 from huge list of hotels on Ischia and as soon as we arrived we were SO glad of our choise. The hotel staff is very helpful and nice, the location is perfect - it's very quiet, but you can reach all the places and sights that you need (they have a free transfer to city and to the beach). Renting a car is a very good solution, but we didn't rent cause we were afraid of tricky roads on island. The breakfast is nice, but there aren't much choise of dishes, but quite nice to full your stomack in the morning. Lunches and suppers they don't have, but you can always order smth like brusketta or salad. Wine is fantastic! There're several restaurants not far away (the farest one is like 5 min walking), we've tried all of them, but the best one is Trattoria de Pepino. So, we'll recommend this hotel for honeymoons, for families with kids and for those, who like calm and quiet vacation.
Hotel staff didn't tell us in advance, that they have free transfer from Forio to hotel till 16.00, and while we were in train from Rome to Naples we recieved a call from hotel, asking if we will arrive till 16 so they could meet us. So, ask for transfer by yourself. Also noone met us when we arrived in hotel and we were walking with suitcase till we found reception.
