close to train and bus stations Originally I booked the room I thought the price is good when I went to the hotel I didn't like the room I requested upgrade. Even I paid almost double the room smelled very bad like been washed with curry... the mattress felt it has a hole in it and I couldn't sleep cause it's very noisy. In top of all this the elevator still from the 60's and it's faster to walk the stairs.

Cheap and 1 minute walk from termini 70 German students made the 2nd night unbearable and all the hotel said was there's 70 of them and only 2 of us so grin and bear it as they'll be gone tomorrow. Attitude was atrocious. We should have been just as important

The location is very strategic. Just a few meters from Termini Station. The room is small and need to wait a few minutes for hot water.

Not much. Good location, I booked last minute, so what did I expect? Wifi and breakfast not free. "Double" bed actually two single beds pushed together. The hotel is WAY understaffed, so it takes forever to get any assistance, not actually that polite. I can't imagine this hotel has ever had a repeat customer.

The only thing that made me stay there was that it was next to the train station. The other thing that I would like to appreciate was the early check in that they provided me. Though when we went to sleep for a couple of hours, it was really hard to sleep, because the hotel staff was talking (though not loudly), but every step and every action could be heard, it was very noisy. It seems that the walls were made of paper. I did not like the room facilities. It was the poorest hotel I have ever seen. The only thing that was in fair condition in the room was the bed, all the rest should be thrown away. The bathroom was terrible. There are even rooms without bathroom, we prefered to pay more to have a room with bathroom, it was really disgusting bathroom. I lived in 109. I do not talk about minibar which was absent. Anyway I stayed only a day and payed 49 euroes for that poor room, but if would stay longer, I would certainly leave the hotel as soon as a saw the room.

Staff and location were great! Only one shared shower/toilet combined for whole floor - if someone was in the shower, you could not go to the toilet.

We needed a room close to Termini (main train station), this hotel is definitely close to Termini (5 min walk). Very affordable rate. While being close to the train station seems like a good idea... if you can afford better, book it. We weren't expecting much based on other reviews, but for our needs (1 night), we figured we'd give it a shot. The room was basic (at best), and the mattress was definitely older than I am (35 yrs). I can live with basic, but the noise was a bit much for us: (1) restaurant on the street below, lots of clanking and conversation till about 1am (2) train noise, expect one every 20-30 min. As stated, if you can afford better, skip this place.

Clean and cheery inside, friendly staff, wonderful funky old fashioned lift. Good location within walking distance of most sites & good bars & restaurants nearby. Our room didn't have air-con and was extremely hot and airless although there was a noisy, shaky ceiling fan. The narrow street outside had a tramline and was very noisy til late and from early in the morning even with the window closed.

The location was amazing and the room was more than okay considering the budget. Very clean, very nicely decorated. The bathroom and shower were nice and the room wasn't too small. There was no air conditioning - in August! It was also very hard to sleep with all the traffic noise coming from the street.

Just the location Worst place I have stayed in during last 12 years of travelling . They checked me into a filthy 4 bed dormitory kind of room with no air conditioner, no table, no chair. A stinking room with a almost broken fan without regulator and a hanging bulb. I am laughing at myself, that why didnt I take a picture. Never would i again stay or suggest this rot place to anybody. And best part is that they charge you before showing the room...cheats I would say

Location and price ! And also nice atmosphere of the building ... Even if you choose a room without bathroom there is a wash basin with cold and hot water and the common shower room with toilet is clean, large and very near (5 meters from the room). The location is great, just 10-15 minutes walking to Colloseum and the street is full of restaurants. Hotel is situated in a monumental building with large corridoors and antique lift. Nothing to complain. I doubt if you can get for 50 EUR a night something better in central Rome. I will choose that hotel again on my next visit to the eternal city.
