El pequeño desayunador. Un poco incómodo para la circulación de los pasajeros. Sería conveniente que se habilite el comedor con ese fin, como lo hacen cuando hay muchos huéspedes.

We arrived quite late and they were happy to have us. They had run out of regular rooms, which we had booked, and they gave us an apartment/much larger room at no cost. Very friendly! Breakfast was great and it is quite close to the lake and boat to Como.

Loved this Hotel! Beautiful setting only 3 minutes walk from the lake front and ferry. Cernobbio has some excellent restaurants and lovely little lakeside village. Easy to walk everywhere within a few minutes and make sure you go for a day trip to Bellergio. A great vaue hotel, excellent quality, refurbished and very clean rooms with free WiFi, Free Sky T.V and everything you need for a perfect stay, including quality bedding/linen and towels. Breakfast lovely and varied. Staff are wonderful and natually friendly. I would highly recommend, best value and best quality hotel in all of Lake Como!!! We will be back!!!

The staff were delightful and most helpful. We were very warmly greeted on arrival and offered a drink on the house. The restaurant is first class. The owner, Sergio is a real gentleman and Paulo , the restaurant manager is unique. Both speak good English and are very entertaining. The food in the restaurant was excellent so I would strongly advise guests to eat there to really enjoy the ambience.i

We had no complaints. Had a lovely room with beautiful bathroom and a tech overlooking the garden. We only booked one night but stayed for a second as we enjoyed the place so much!

Set back a few blocks into Cernobbio, in a quiet neighborhood. Historic property recently renovated. Real grotto in basement; perfect wine cellar. Terrific breakfast in the gorgeous dining room (dinner there is divine). Comfy room. Run by nice folks.

We had no car, so reaching it by bus was a little bit of a bother. But no complaints about the property at all.

The food was excellent , the room was warm and the bedding confortable. Also quiet. Good value for money

I m a tub person , rather than a shower so that was a pity and there are no carpets or rugs on the stone floor , not so cosy in winter. But minor details

We chose this hotel because of previous reviews and we can only concur with those comments. The rooms were clean and the staff extremely helpful. The best part we thought was the restaurant. The food was terrific and the staff very friendly and knowledgable. Would defiantly stay there again.

No seating area at the bar to enjoy a drink before or after dinner in the fantastic restaurant.

I absolutely loved this hotel. I have done plenty of research before booking rooms for my family and I at this hotel. It is small and cozy, the location is great, the staff is extremely nice and helpful, and the restaurant is very nice (not to mention the waiter was the best waiter we have ever had). I will 100% book the same hotel if I am lucky enough to be in that area again.

The hotel has a total of 8 rooms; only some of the rooms have a balcony although the rates are the same for all. Make sure to request a room with a balcony, if available, but do stay there either way because all rooms are nicely decorated and more or less the same size.

Highly recommend Hotel Terzo Crotto. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The resteraunt in the hotel is faboulous. We stayed 4 nights and had dinner there all 4 nights. Best experience ever.

Had trouble working the AC.

The hotel staff were excellent and the food in the restaurant second to none. I cannot recommend the restaurant highly enough. I will definitely return.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The owners are on-site and personally involved. It was passed down from Sergio's grandfather. Rooms are renovated. Frame is old, but cared-for and quaint. It is just a short walk to the shopping district by Lake Como. Parking is free. Wi-Fi is free. Dinner is very nice. The head waiter is conversant in many languages and makes everyone in the dining room comfortable. Breakfast buffet is good and takes place in a dining room that overlooks the yard. It is rated 3 star. We were very comfortable with the rating, with our stay there and would return.

The restaurant was good and we enjoyed a lovely meal there. 8 satisfied guests! The staff at the hotel are also nice - one of the reception staff went and bought me an adapter plug as I forgot to take mine. Good value at 120 euro a night for a room in the main house

The road is quite busy - it would be hard to sleep with the windows open. Also you can hear noises from the next room so the soundproofing is not great. Two couples of our party of 8 stayed in the apartment section of the hotel and were badly disturbed by a group staying below them until 5am on Sunday morning (chairs being scraped over the fllor/loud voices etc etc)

Lovely old building which is being restored and updated in a tasteful and sympathetic way. Many improvements since our last visit a year ago and beautiful new bathroom in our room. The family are very friendly and helpful. We love the restaurant, which has a great atmosphere and specialises in local food. Paulo the head waiter is efficient, funny and the ladies love him! The breakfast, which is served on the terrace has a large selection of food, catering for all nationalities and sets you up for the whole day! Its our second visit and we intend to return.

Cannot think of anything negative. We are frightened that with all the improvements, the prices may go up!

Sergio and Paul looked after us very well, they were very friendly and helpful. The Terzo Crotto is a lovely place to stay, relaxing gardens and well situated in a quieter area of Cernobbio but within three mins walk from the restaurants and lakeside. A beautiful place to stay. Sergio also arranged collection from the airport which was much cheaper than taxi.

Restaurant attached to hotel provided excellent meals at reasonable prices. Service staff in restaurant were very attentive.

Hotel is supposed to be non-smoking in all public areas (see their description) First two nights were fine however on 3rd night they had a function for local businessmen. Noise from this function carried on, excessively, until 3.30am with patrons smoking below our room, meaning we were unable to sleep. Residents of the room next to us smoked heavily and the smell entered our room. In the morning we asked to speak to the manager (does not live on site). When he arrived we explained the situation and indicated, tactfully, that we believed we should not be charged for the last night. He stared abusing us and in fact swore at my wife. He threatened to call the police and carried on in a totally unacceptable manner shouting at us even after we paid our account in full. He was quite obviously hung over from the previous night. He claimed it was up to us to stop his guests smoking. Under no circumstances would I recommend this hotel to anyone under the present management.

We were in a group of 10 and the staff were very friendly and helpful and made us all feel very welcome. Hotel location is fantastic with easy access to many restaurants and the lake. 5 minutes from main arterial routes to Milan and Switzerland The building is full of character and it was a pleasure to have included it in our tour across Europe.

Location was good, handy to waterfront, restaurants and shops. Hotel was very comfortable and well maintained, lovely garden. Friendly staff. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
