Central location, friendly and competent reception, good price.
Beds not quite so comfortable. Old windows > very loud. Second room lacked a wardrobe.
Noise from the road at night.
Albelrto did an excellent job in looking after us including the convenience of arranging an airport shuttle. Residents in the building are very friendly.
A nice large flat, well equipe and just near the vatican
Rooms are more than noisy: you can hear the trafic of the avenue the full night (windows are old, and double glass added is not helping due to the gap between the windows). I would not return there because it is impossible to sleep without good hear plugs.
Next to the metro, near Vatican museum, near the pharmacy and supermarket. Clean and comfortable, suitable for couples of days' stay.
Wi-fi is a little bit poor
Location, well appointed apartment for the four of us to share. Staff was very friendly and responsive. We even were stuck in the elevator (it stopped) and we called the number we had for the staff person who let us into the apartment and she was wonderful, she called the Fire Dept for us and we were able to get out safely.
Can't think of anything here.
Clean, spacious apartment. Great view of the dome. Comfortable beds & new elevator. Having two bathrooms was a plus. Well equipped kitchen. Delicious gelato flavors and generous portions from Old Bridge Gelateria.
Electrical plug adapter not available for microwave. Nightstand lamps in master bedroom did not function properly.
Aircon in entrance Lift for luggage Very big apartment
The aircon did not cool the bedrooms so they were very hot Kitchen was not well equipped : no dish cloths nor drying cloths very little utensils in kitchen
Great location and comfy place to relax after a day out sight seeing. Conveniece of a nearby supermarket, the mercato trionfale and numerous restaurants and cafes. Excellent wifi. Helpful staff who were great when our plane was delayed.
Lacked some practical info in the welcome booklet about the house, including how to light the stove and where to find the main electrical switch (which was behind a painting). Also the previous guest had left dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
The space to move around without falling over each other
Great location. Must call to be met at specific time in order to enter apartment. Alberto greates us and gave us great information about the city.
Very very noisey street at night. We moved our mattress into foyer and turned both fans on high to drown out street noise in order to sleep at night. We were told by person who greates us that we could check k out at 12 but this was obviously not communicated to housekeeping who showed up at 11 and were very upset that we were not out.
The Key to Italy staff was excellent and usually responsive (except for the WiFi problem. The location is fantastic, especially for the Vatican but also for touring all other Rome sights.
1) The WiFi ONLY worked late at night. My complaints to the staff were answered but not addressed. 2) In spite of the double glazed windows, the window frames do not close completely and the street noise is with you ALL night. Bring earplugs!! 3) It would be nicer if the apartment provided tissues, paper towels and laundry soap. 4) There is only one air conditioning unit in the entry hall. It is too small to cool two bedrooms, the living room, kitchen and bath.
Excellent location, very clean, a very good value compared to a hotel plus all the amenities of a home. Literally across the street from the Vatican, and a fairly short walk to the subway to see the other sites. Many good restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity, and the neighborhood seemed pretty safe.
On a very busy street, but the modern windows kept the noise to a minimum.
The apartment reflected good taste and was clean and comfortable.
Unfortunately the street below can be very noisy at night over weekends
Brilliant position made visiting major sites so easy - within walking distance of the Vatican. We were in St Peters and 7:30 am and so Missed the crowds. Also very spacious and comfortable
Needed more basics like glasses (only one wine glass!). Also very noisy road!
You are right across the street from the Vatican. We could see the top of the vatican from our room. It was a great location and you get more for your money here than we would have in a hotel. I would stay here again if I go back to Rome.
We (4 adults + 2 young kids) stayed in the apartment for 3 nights. It was really good, the flat was clean and well facilitated. And there is a tram to go to Zoo directly, I liked it very much.
There were two minor dislikes, 1. The lift is not enough for a baby buggy. 2. It locates at the middle of two Metro station, it takes 10 minutes on foot (not very friendly for babies, but very minor).
